Summary: The ~~haphazardly planned~~ long-waited Hanami actually happens.

Today is the day of the Hanami - the flower viewing - as planned by the SOS-Brigade, and it couldn't be a better day! There might be a cold snap today, but sometime during the early afternoon (because Haruki willed it to be so and I got mod permission) the sun gets out more and the temperature shoots up into a nice spring day. This nice spring day will persist until the sun sets, at which point it will go back to being the cold day it was meant to be today.

So while the weather is nice, you might as well enjoy yourselves! As promised, the set up here is fantastic. On the top of the hill is one giant Sakura tree and four smaller ones along the side leading to the road serving as something akin to a natural (double) torii (you know those old Shinto gate things) leading up to the main tree. All five trees are in bloom, but while the four smaller ones have the pink flowers everyone is familiar with, the top one (the big one on the center of the hill) has darker pink, almost red ones for some reason.

One reason why it might be red is that (buried in the ground) at the base of the biggest tree is a (fake ~~Made in China~~) human skeleton. It's buried pretty well and thus might not come out at all, but it's there. It is.

Anyway, aside from the flowers, there are other things too! There are three big mats with a large collection of chips, sake, and water in various bowls with cups and such for people. And then towards the center (manned by Haruki and one or three other Brigade members [feel free to assume you character is one of them if you want; it'll probably be in shifts]) is a big collection of burners, pots, pans, and everything you would need to produce dumplings on the spot. And they are making dumplings (usually pork of course) for people there.

As for decorations aside from the flowers themselves... there are various painted things and paintings which some people might recognize as Miyabi's work. There are also more than likely paper lanterns up which'll help once the shadows grow deeper in the early evening. ~~I'm being vague in case Miyabi's player wants to post something specific.~~

Oh and off on the opposite side of the hill from the four flank-trees (for the kids) is a series of three somewhat normal sized trampolines (for the kids) to make up for the lack of Haruki's promised jump land or giant trampoline.

So that's the setting: ENJOY.

[Naturally, this is action script/commentspam/whatever you kids are calling it these days and naturally like any big meeting post thing is set for full threadjack mode]

It's not imposing at all. Please, -She pours him a cup. Nice and steamy and fragrant- ...it honors me that you would have some of it, as it is my village's recipe.

[And he takes that up with an appreciative nod. Her Shinen implies she is being truthful, at least] Well then, thank you.

Please let me know how it tastes.

I confess I'm not much of a tea drinker, so I might not be the best judge. [That said, a bit of blowing and one sip later...] It does seem good though.

[And he sips his tea again but as she bows something he naturally is going to do is feel around her Shinen a little. See if he can't get lingering emotions, sentiments, you know the works]

[Precious nostalgia. Good times; yellow Shinen is always good to see. In fact, he'd vaguely feel bad to interrupt that anymore just yet, so he's going to keep watching that as he keeps up his sipping]

The blooms smell wonderful, don't you think? It mixes well with the aroma of the tea.

It does smell nice here; I an see the appeal of this sort of get together.

I'm glad. I'll have to think of how to properly thank this Suzumiya person. Though I doubt he knows how much this meant to me.

Unless you know him personally, probably not. [He pauses before looking up at the largest (red pedaled) tree] Though it's possible this meant something to him, which was why he did it.

Perhaps. I should really meat him.

Afraid I can't help on that front; I've never met the man.

[That intrigues him. Sometimes the mind will think of things passively that it actively has long since locked away, thus as she says that he can't help but activate Σ to see if he can't learn more about this potential similar person]

Canonically should should happen (because how SIG-MA technically works is that he absorbs a copy of her thoughts and then plays them back for himself in her head) is that things should come to mind for her. A clearing of her head so to speak, possibly dragging things she wouldn't normally consider to the surface in relation to his fragmented memory.

So as to not spoil your plot let's make the focus the disjointed memories (possibly with one more or less complete one sans the person in it with her) but not include a name of said person]
