Birthday Parties!

What: Birthday parties!
When: July 4th (a smidge backdated)
Where: The riverside, south of the village
Summary: After several birthdays had passed, a birthday PARTY is arranged for those who missed theirs. At the river!
Rating: PG?

[With the help of Toph and Roku (and possibly others), the party had been set up south of the village. There were cakes, party tables, and seats out for everyone. It wasn't really a traditional Water Tribe party by any means, because it was meant for more than one person, after all. But it was by the river and swimming opportunities there. Sokka even set up a net and poles for volleyball. Nami and Roku knew to be there, but of course, Sokka has to get here there still...]

[And here they are, at the food table!] Of course not! Sanji made these two [She gestures to the orange and the vanilla with whipped cream.] and Regal made this one [she points to the vanilla with nuts.] They're both really good!

But I think that the orange is my favorite. I didn't even know you could do that with cake!

I'm not sure I've ever had cake like that, either. [He looks over them, but he doesn't really have a preference, so a moment later he'll reach for a plate and serve himself.] Ice cream, too, huh?

Yeah! We've got it over here. I've been coming by and keeping it cool, so it should be good.

They're making you work on your birthday? [Said teasingly, of course. After he takes a slice of cake, he'll certainly be going over to get some ice cream, too.]

Why should I let it melt if it doesn't have to? [She watches with approval as he grabs some food, and swipes a crumb off of a piece of cake herself.]

Fair enough. [He shrugs a bit. Vanilla ice cream sounded alright. He'll immediately try the cake once he's gotten everything.]

Wanna go sit on the shade over there? [She points.] Unless there are some other people here you want to go talk to.

[He doesn't answer right away, deciding whether or not the cake was worth it. It didn't taste too bad, so eh, what the heck.]

Nope, we can sit.

Oh can we. Well, that's very gracious of you.

You're right! So I guess it's very gracious of me! [And she starts towards the shaded area.]

Right, right, whatever you say. [He shakes his head as he follows after her.]

[And off they go to enjoy cake!] Do you know everyone here?

I've seen a lot of them around. [Which is a... no, beyond a name or a face. His biggest concern was speaking with people who were drafted to start up some favorable relationships, but he wasn't going to bring that up now.]

So... that's a no, then. Nami's over there [Points.] And Roku's over there [Points.] Though you should know him from the camping trip... who else don't you know?

I know who they are. [He looks around for a moment at all the people. He doesn't really feel like picking out anyone in particular.] I suppose the ones I don't really know would be their friends.
