Summary: It's time for the bi-monthly New Feather Party! This time at the Battle Dome with a concert by the one and only Luka Megurine! Take a seat and watch the show or grab a bite and mingle with your friends. Luceti's gonna be noisy tonight and full of good cheer!

Everything was all set to go! The Battle Dome had been turned into the perfect concert hall thanks to the hardwork of everyone who had voluntered to help out. The decorations went up without a tee and the tables were well-laden with the food that everybody had so graciously offered to make. Selphie had taken it upon herself to abuse the vending machines in the Dome and had carefully lined the sides of all the tables with various types of drinks for everyone to choose from. The perky brunette knew that this was going to be one of the best New Feather parties they'd ever held. The crepe paper streamers brought quite a bit of colour to the otherwise metallic surroundings of the dome and it left her debating if they should leave them up. She quickly thought against the idea knowing that there were bound to be complaints about the Battle Dome being a place for training and not a place to hold regular parties.

She sighed lightly before twirling around in her yellow sundress and marching right over to the entrance of the Battle Dome as she opened the doors for everyone to enter and take their seats. When people entered, they'd notice the stage in the middle of the Dome. Adell and his volunteers had worked tirelessly on it and with a splash of colour from the decorating team, the stage was perfect and ready to go. The lights were checked, the speakers were in place and the mic was positions just waiting for Luka to grab it and dazzle everyone with her talents. To say that Selphie was excited about this concert was a bit of an understatement. It reminded her of the Garden Festivals from home as she waited for people to start arriving.

She knew that this night was going to be great for everybody. She knew that everybody in the village needed a chance to unwind a bit and this was perfect opportunity to do so.

[Of course Rydia's there. Now that she has more available time, the summoner is eager to help set things up. She can mostly be seen at the refreshments area, adding more dishes and drinks and helping arrange things there, though can be easily drawn away from that if her help is needed somewhere else.

And throughout it all, Rydia is warm and friendly. She'll stop to chat with those she knows and as for those she doesn't--it doesn't matter. Parties are the perfect opportunity to meet people right?]

[As promised, Cheria's present at the party as well. She brought a variety of dishes- so many that she had to make two return trips to carry all the plates to the Battle Dome. Sandwiches, cold cuts, cocktail wieners, a fruit salad, dumplings, crackers and an assortment of cheeses... She'd even baked cookies. To be fair, she was much more used to preparing actual dishes, but experimenting with finger foods had proved to be a lot of fun. She should do this more often.

Anyone can find her by the dinner table, setting things up with a satisfied smile.]

[Roji can be found stocking the snack tables with the treats he made for the party. Said treats include little cakes and other baked goods, as well as some sandwiches. He might seem a little tired, but that's because he had spent quite a while on these treats. He wanted to make them as good as possible.]

[Wandering in among preparations already in progress, Chitose is carrying a giant pot and a whiff of the air coming off it should hint that its a giant batch of chicken curry, ready for the first come-first serve eaters.

She's slipping quiet to the food table, but assuming she gets there undisturbed, she'll be looking about for any nearby helpers-of-the-day with a searching look.

[There's a trail of half-finished decorations in…not exactly a straight line. Really, it's only a line if you seriously use your imagination.

At the end of the line...thing...is Grune, still decorating away. She seems to be remembering what she's supposed to do right now, but that could change at any moment. She'll be happy to talk to anyone who comes her way, so don't be shy!]

It was moments before the concert was to begin and the lights were slowly beginning to dim in anticipation for the event. The speakers lined the front of the stage in precision and a microphone streamed with ribbons was waiting for the star of the show to take the stage and wow Luceti with her talents. There was still some idle chatter going on but it would eventually die down once the star of the evening got going with her music.

Blade was a little late to the party. He weaved his way into the crowd trying to keep his wings pulled in. He wasn't really used to the feeling of wings and it still irked him. He looked around the battle dome remembering what Cameron had told him. This place really was quite impressive. He had actually never been to a concert. Many clubs but never a concert. This would be an interesting experience.

[Adell's just come out from the final preparations to make sure Luka was ready. She'll be out soon, and he'll be there to announce things, but for now he'll mingle a bit with the crowd.

Obviously he should be bothered before the concert gets into swing.]

Lina has nudged her way to the best seat in the front row, armed with some snacks from the vending machine. She keeps looking over her shoulder so often that she seems to have developed a twitch, and will wave to people she knows

The concert was in full swing and the music had the energy in the building at a maximum. Lights were swirling in bright colours to the beat of the music being offered and all eyes were on the stage for the most part.

[Kay is sitting on a bench outside the concert, head tipped back and one hand over her eyes. She likes music--loves it, if in a casual, this-is-nice-to-dance-to kind of way--but thirty seconds of the evening's performer, and she gave up. It sounds like nothing so much as a lot of noise to her, and a lot of loud noise, at that. Even from here, it's threatening to give her a headache.

The idea of a party was a fine one, and she dressed for a cocktail affair. At this point, she's mostly sticking around in hopes that the afterparty will be a little closer to what she'd had in mind when she arrived here.]

Now that the concert is over with, the chatter and noise in the Battle Dome start up with a new-found energy. Everybody`s starting to mingle once again but the main topic of the evening appears to be the concert that just finished.

[Maybe he should stop coming to those things... Really, he's not a new Feather since long ago and he's not even fond to those parties. He always remains playing the wallflower except for when people talk to him or drag him around if it's someone who can do that.

People will start to think that he's the New Feather's Party's official wallflower or something if he keeps coming. This should be the last time. Definitively, he won't come to the next one.]

[Selphie knows you're here Ikki and she eventually makes her way over to him and leans up against the wall next to him. She'll carefully curl her arms around one of his in an odd looking hug before holding up a drink for him.]

If it weren't for you holding up the wall Ikki, the Battle Dome might fall on top of everybody. Good work!

[Sheryl is a bit late to the party but when you can't decide what to wear, you can't decide what to wear. A speedy trip to the clothing store was made where the songstress discovered a loose fitting pink dress with a close-fitting brown vest and cowboy boots to make her first appearance at a social event in Luceti. Her hair was tied back in a simple ponytail as it casually draped over her left shoulder.

Then she had to go and tow Ranka out with her because the two of them needed a girls night out without Michael hounding over them.]

[Ranka had gone much more simply for clothing, with just a cream-colored dress with a few ruffles at the sleeves and neck, with cute shoes and her ubiquitous necklace. Still, she was glowing - an outing with Sheryl]

[Suffice to say Rinoa's had enough time to track down her normal clothes and at least hear about the little get together before hand. On hearing just who was helping run the party she couldn't exactly say no to showing up, could she? Not that Rinoa would have said no to begin with, because unlike a certain grumpy pants she happens to enjoy parties.

For now though, she's a girl on a mission. Operation: Find Selphie is underway!]

[Rinoa will find Selphie sitting down for a few moments as she grabs a quick bite to eat. The New Feather might notice a few changes in Selphie though. One, the perky brunette's a bit taller and a year older than when they last met and her nunchaku is always on her person. Her trademarked boots have given way to sneakers and her hair is longer and braided.

Usually, Selphie would be right in the thick of things but she's happy to sit on the sides for a few moments to relax for a little bit before going back into the swing of things. Catching her off guard might be a bit easier than Rinoa thinks.]

Lina's paper plate is so piled high with food that it's probably fairly amazing that it hasn't broken yet. And it never seems to get any lower - any time the red head manages to make a dent in the food, she circles back around the table for more.

The sorceress' goal is to have fun, pig out, and get to know her fellow captives. After all, if they're her friends, she'll be more inclined to help them out and more willing to bust out of this place - so far, it's a pretty sweet setup and she hasn't felt terribly inclined to leave.

So Lina circles the party with an almost manically cheerful energy. Random party goers might suddenly find themselves on the receiving end of a pat on the back. The degree of force behind it will depend on how much Lina thinks the person is capable of taking.

Daisy-023 is quite durable, in fact. Hence why the forceful pat coming from the 5'1'' tall sorceress barely moves a girl that is easily two heads taller than her.

She turns in curiosity to see a girl with a plate probably taller than she was, with an excess of energy.
