Just one night

Who: Everyone! Presented by the SOS-Brigade!
What: People enjoying a good time
When: Sunset onwards (so 9:30ish PM plus)
Where: The main square of the village
Summary: It's Tanabtata, and Haruhi likes Tanabata. As a result, there will be fireworks and a little food and wishes to be made.
Rating: PGish I assume unless people do things in public??

[So it's Tanabata - Haruhi loves this holiday (which other people like too, of course) and as a result tends to force a celebration for it on everyone else. That's why the Brigade has set up lanterns, a few food stalls, a small tea stall and other such stuff outside of the Brigade HQ tonight. She also has kimonos - she'll dress up the Brigade personally and she is dressed in a flashy one as well (and she'll dress up other people who look listless!) as well as bamboo shoots put there to write wishes on.

...There will be fireworks later tonight, but it's a small get together. Just some dishes made by her and some other members of the Brigade and tea. Lanterns to set a mood, and linger. Feel free to get involved however you well please

Mass interaction log of course]

I see. And I just came to see what was happening.

Of course. We haven't had this much of a fuss in the village since Mu appeared.

In other words, there's always some sort of fuss going on.

[Not that this Tanabata fuss is a bad fuss, but it's still a fuss.]

Yes. Between experiments, drafts, rampaging monsters, and festivals, Luceti is certainly an exciting sort of place to live.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2011-07-08 05:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Just when I thought I was through with all of that.

[After saving the world from literal nothingness. Ugh, he just wants to go home.]

Do you mean your home world was just as active, or just that we're overdue for some quiet here?

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2011-07-08 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I was referring to my home world, but yes, we could use some quiet around here as well.

Speaking from my own experience...I doubt we'll get any.

I hear a friend of yours' from home arrived during this most recent cycle.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2011-07-08 05:59 pm (UTC)(link)
I believe I've been here longer than you, so yes.

...You wouldn't be referring to that stupid bandit, would you?

Even counting my multiple stays together, yes. You have. My deepest sympathies in that regard, by the way.

...I don't think we ever reached the point of discussing banditry, actually. Moses?

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2011-07-08 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Thanks. [Voice dripping with sarcasm.]

...That would be him.

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2011-07-08 06:04 pm (UTC)(link)
May I assume by your tone of voice that you're less than pleased to have him here?

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2011-07-08 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
He's an idiot. [Pretty self-explanatory, right?]

Well, he's not too bad, I suppose. He makes a useful decoy in battle, so that's something to keep in mind if you ever get drafted with him.

[Yes, he loves to make fun of Moses in such cruel ways, but he is actually happy to see him nonetheless.]

[Pretty self explanatory, yes. To be fair, Giles does kind of like Moses, from what he saw of the man.]

I most certainly will keep that in mind. He's certainly an exuberant enough individual - I can see where he wouldn't have any trouble attracting the attention of enemies.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2011-07-08 06:13 pm (UTC)(link)
He's tougher than he looks, so yes. He's very good at making enemies.

[If Jay isn't better at that, that is.]

The two often go hand in hand, don't they? Power attracts attention, too much attention attracts the occasional enemy.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2011-07-09 12:52 pm (UTC)(link)
And Moses would just thrive in all that attention.

Then he should thrive in Luceti.

Just try not to kill him before the Third Party has a chance, Jay.

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2011-07-09 01:41 pm (UTC)(link)
I would never do that.

[They may bicker a lot, but they've never exchanged blows.]

Glad to hear it.
