[ And Helios will take out the other solider with a quick flick of his wrist, glowing green eyes signifying a spell, and then a billowing burst of air will erupt from his palms. It'll knock the third party member several feet back into one of the outlying trees, rendering them unconscious. Helios himself is panting a little looking over at Buffy he's still on the defensive watching for that second party member and around them as well. ]

[ the slayer does her work with grace and perhaps a modicum of beauty -- although the work is horrible, the execution is skilled and it's hard to deny the clean, precise lines of her blows. it isn't that they are practiced or technical but merely well-judged. instinctive.

she ends the one she has downed and turns to face helios. making eye contact for a moment. ] Hi. [ and then sprinting towards that second opponent. ]

[ He doesn't reply right away the surrounding battles causing him to be extra cautious. He does nod at Buffy's, albeit unconventional, greeting to him though. He'll cause a wall of rock to hit into the gut of a enemy third party member that was aiming for the slayer. He'll keep an eye out for her, making sure no one sneaks up on her or tries any underhanded ambusing. ]

[ and that eye guarding against ambush frees her up for more violence. she can act without fear of a surprise swoop in -- although an edge of her decidedly dislikes depending on someone else's magic in this capacity. had it been willow, the feeling would be mostly absent -- but it's difficult for her to trust just any style of mojo.
