A sensitive topic. If anyone in Luceti knew just how much Jack disliked clinics, it would be these two. After what they put him through, last time. After what Jack put Bones through. After what Buffy put Jack through.

McCoy can sense he has an upcoming battle with Jack over being kept in the clinic, but the doctor's determined to keep him there until he recovers well enough to go home. "... Well, that's the plan."

"We both know he'll hate it. And probably try to get out."

A wicked little plan formulates in his head and his lips quirk upwards. "Maybe I'll tether him to the gurney."

"...Tie him up? Bones, that'll make it even worse. He went down with a ship after evacuating it. We shouldn't treat him like a criminal."

"Right, that's a bad idea." He sighs. "I'll keep him under observation, but give him free reign."
