[And Kazooie retreats from the horrifying mess they made, back to the relative safety of the cargo and the normalcy that's there.

... She may not display it very much, or even let herself think about it too long, but the draft isn't as easy for her as she makes it seem.]

... Figures that there isn't anywhere to clean off this junk...

So far. *knocks on wood*

[Grune still sounds a little distant when she says:] You could go for a swim.

... I could do that, yeah. Think we both should, really.

[Kazooie stops a moment, hesitating, before very gently - for her - touching the tip of a membranous wing to Grune's arm.]

... We'll be fine, Gruney. We're heroes. Tough guys.

[Grune blinks, then looks down at Kazooie.] Oh, of course we'll be fine. Everything always turns out right in the end.

[talontrot]

Yeah. That... that's how it always works for us main-character types. [She smiles, weaker than usual.] We always come out of stuff okay.

Yes, that's the spirit. We'll be just fine.

[talontrot]

[And Kazooie heads back to the cargo to help carry it around, clubbed green tail whisking slightly.]
