[ No one up by then? Silly Vash. You should know that Joshua has the tendency to be up at the most random hours.

Or well, he shouldn't, really. But he probably has the vague memories of it, just like Joshua has the vague memories that Vash now knows far too much about him.

Good morning.

[ But ominous-sounding pleasantries first. ]

[Vash jumps nearly ten feet into the air when he hears that rather ominous hello. He drops the couple things he had in his arms and they clatter to the floor.] O-oh! Hello there! Ahahhaha. Hope I didn't wake you.

You didn't.

[ Joshua's gaze flits briefly to the things Vash dropped. Not that he really thinks he would, but Joshua wants to check that Vash isn't stealing anything that wasn't his. ]

What do you remember?

[It's mostly an armful of clothes and his journal. There are a few other books in the mix, but all things that he brought with him into the house.]

Hm, it's a little fuzzy right now, but uh... I have a better understanding on how that maybe you have met as many people as I have before?

No, I didn't. [At least not outside Luceti he hasn't.] I'm... still a little bit fuzzy on all the details, but you're also a Composer. And seeing as I remember learning that not so long ago, something you'd probably like to keep quiet.

[ That makes him sigh. Congrats, Vash, you have joined the club of all of three people who have learned about that since coming to Luceti. ]

Er, well... actually... the fact that I'm not exactly human isn't exactly a secret. I mean, it's not something that tends to come up lot in conversation, but I don't know if I'd call it a secret.

[ Oh now he's even less trusting. ]

But, I'm not the type to go around telling other people's secrets. I won't say anything.

[ Though he also wouldn't put it past Beat to do something, either. ]

So what exactly are you?

Aw! Come on! I can't be the only one in all of Luceti who knows, can I!? ...can I?

And well, I'm a Plant. But not like a flower or a tree, it's a little more complicated than that.

... Considering flowers and trees don't have human form, I'd be more suspicious if it weren't more complicated. Go on.

Well, Plants are a life form created by humans where I'm from. Most have to stay connected to a life support system, but I was born from one of them and don't require the same things they do.

[Just going to try to avoid the whole: all powerful part of that explanation.]

[ Hold on this is interesting. ]

Yes, they were. You can ask how, but afraid I really don't know. Anyone who did unfortunately died, a long time ago.

Then do you at least know why?

Why they died? Well, most people do age. [Not that that's the reason, but Vash doesn't really enjoy talking about this sort of stuff.]

Why they created Plants.

[goldenglasses]

They created Plants to help them create a new home on a new world. Earth became too polluted and it's resources to few to support so many lives anymore.

... So like trees, but humanoid.

Kinda, but Plants can do a bit more than trees can. [He rubs the back of his neck, feeling really uncomfortable. It's not like he means to say Plants are better than trees, just... different. It almost feels like bragging and he hates it.]

[ He's not bragging, he's being informative! Josh wants his ammunition dammit, or at the very least to know exactly what it is he just dumped a bunch of his secrets on. ]

Plants... when used and handled correctly can create just about anything. From water, food, to plant life, and just about anything else.
