Pinkie's New Feather Party: The Masquerade Ball!

The night is finally here! Pinkie Pie and friends have been working hard to get everything absolutely perfect. The Battle Dome has been done up to look like a grand ballroom, complete with dance hall and dining area. A small, but elegantly decorated stage is situated in the middle of the dance hall, and is equipped with microphones and speakers for anyone willing to perform. Otherwise, the dome is set up to play songs on request.

The dining area is equipped with a buffet-style dinner selection, filled with food contributed by various donators, highlighted by a large cake at the central table, which is then surrounded by smaller tarts, pies and pastries. Wine, champagne, and other choice drinks are available from ice chests near the buffet line.

Finally, since it was so popular with the last party, the night will be ended with a fireworks display over the dome. Afterwards, Pinkie Pie will be going around making sure everyone gets home safely, before returning to the dome to start cleaning up.

Note: Like Pinkie's last party, this one has a theme: a Masquerade Ball. Everyone who enters must wear a mask, and keep it on for the entirety of the party. If you haven't picked one out yourself, Pinkie would be more than happy to provide one for you.

"My feet are happiest when I'm not using them anyway. Aren't you guys?" Sokka looks down at his feet, and then nods. "Yup. They agree."

Aang leans down to talk to Sokka's feet.

"But, Sokka's Feet, didn't Sokka tell you that the best way to attract girls is by acting aloof? But if Sokka doesn't want to attract girls, shouldn't be doing the opposite of that?

"Actually, several years later? I've found that girls actually do like attention."

He replies with some sarcasm, "What great wisdom you've gathered over the years."

[markofthewise]

"Pay attention Aang and you might just learn something."

[savedtheworld]

"Even if it's the same lesson I learned a long time ago but this time it's doing the opposite thing?"

[markofthewise]

"... what? No, it's- Look. I'm not being aloof. It's not like I'm ignoring people. I just don't want to dance, that's all."

Aang smiles and nods. "Alright, I get it. As long as you're having a good time, there's no point making you do something you really don't wanna."

[markofthewise]

"Good. Good." A pause. "Hey, I think there's a girl over there you should dance with. You should go ask her."

Having not expected this, Aang briefly tenses up. He doesn't try to look quite yet.

"W-what? What do you mean?"

[markofthewise]

There was no girl over there. Well, except for Korra, but she didn't really count. It was just a distraction. Mostly to get rid of Aang, so Sokka could go back to being a wet blanket.

"Over there! In the uh, crowd. I think she looked at you."

[savedtheworld]

He turns and squints in that direction. "R-really? I don't see anyone 'cept for Korra. And are you sure it's not someone who'll make a misunderstanding?" He may be trying to distance himself from having a girlfriend back home, but he's not exactly planning to find someone new.

[markofthewise]

"You just missed her. Just um. Go looking for her. I think she's more interested in wacky romantic-free dancing. Definitely wasn't anything lustful in her eyes. At all."

Go chase that thing.

[savedtheworld]

"You sure? Then I'll do that! It's really fun to dance with a friend! And I'll make it up to by finding the same kind of person for you!"

And he rushes off to the dance floor before any objection could be made, soon finding his way to Ikki. He'll be sure to remind her that Uncle Sokka will need a dance at some point.

"... great. Have fun!"

Maybe he could just. Leave or something.
