What: The first strategy game club meeting

[From your friendly neighborhood god of dickbags.] As a reminder, I shall have a room set up in the Battle Dome from 10 o'clock onward for those who would like to meet and play strategy games. My thanks to Lady Rapunzel for the refreshments she will bring.
[Action]
[The room is set up to be comfortable more than anything else. Lots of tables of varying sizes, lots of different sorts of chairs or benches depending upon what you might find comfortable. Loki's taste is reflected mostly in the fact that everything is neat, wooden, and arranged in elegant geometries. The room is of course well-lit with a few braziers around mostly for effect, though they do produce a gentle amount of warmth. Acoustics in the room have been carefully tuned so that no matter how many people turn up, people will have enough quiet for their games and conversation.
A table off to one side has some sandwiches on it, and is plainly the place where refreshments for sharing should be deposited.
Loki has also raided the item shop, so there are several chess sets of various designs, two go sets, two games of Risk, a mancala set, and a game called Small World available for general use. ]

[Konan nods and takes out the board and pieces so they can be assembled in the starter positions.]

[Although she has faith in Loki's ability to learn the game's strategies very quickly, it is a steep learning curve at first.]

[Since Loki is learning, Konan won't get too complicated with her strategies for the first game. He'd been a patient teacher with her while she was learning chess and she'll return the favour. Once he understands the game, however, she'll be sure to make herself a challenging opponent. She considers the board for a moment and then moves a black piece out from the default position on the board.]
