Who: Haru Glory, and you!
What: A mallynap victim returns.
When: Afternoon of the 24th!
Where: Anywhere within the village.
Summary: Haru returns from his mallynap, and comes back not quite himself.
Rating: PG-13. Also possibly higher depending on the level of violence.
[The clouds seemed to gather together above the plaza, casting a large shadow over the village during what was previously a sunny day.

Emerging from the forest and heading into the village--well, more like staggering in, really--is a figure. Silver haired with a lean build, those that know him may recognize him as Haru Glory, but something seems different. Perhaps it's that strange, almost demonic-looking object wrapped around his arm, attached to a blood-red and black sword? Couldn't be...]

[Cliff's foresight was as good as ever. He knew in his gut from day one that wandering Luceti unarmed could potentially be dangerous if he remained in the enclosure for long enough, and he was pleased that his choice in equipment was mobile enough that he could wear it anywhere and everywhere if he chose. Cliff blocked the blow with a sweep of his arm, blade catching on the outside of his armored gauntlet.

He still made no direct move to strike. He didn't want to risk carelessly hurting another resident.]

Seriously, kid. What. The. Hell.

[Once the blow was blocked, Haru was quick to pull back his sword, only to go for another. And another. And another. Daring Cliff to keep blocking his strikes.]

[There wasn't time for any banter-- just dodging, but Cliff was done playing it easy. This kid, whomever he was, needed to be contained pronto.

Another strike and Cliff dodged the blade once more. He pulled back just a step before he lunged with a readied fist, aiming to strike Haru with nothing held back.]

[Haru dodges around the punch, and retaliates with a punch of his own, aimed at Cliff's face. He may not be wearing gauntlets or anything like that, but... he's a lot stronger than he looks.]

[The kid's speed was unexpected. He should have called it, but he had no room to regret his lapse in judgement when the fist collided with the side of his face. The pain stunned him, but had taken much worse over the years.

Gritting his teeth, he growled in agitation.]

That. Was a cheap shot.

[One that he wasn't going to let happen again. He lifted a leg and lashed out with a kick, planning on booting the kid out of range in an act of petty retaliation.]

[He takes the hit, and he takes it hard, going flying away and hitting the ground, but before he even has the chance to roll, he's back on his feet and quickly speeding towards Cliff, sword raised and ready.]

[Cliff had been laying the groundwork to lay down some pain when Haru charged. So much for that plan-- it took all of his attention to stay focused and dodge. The kid, whomever he was, was fast.

This wasn't gonna be a pretty fight.]

[Being naturally hyperathletic had its perks, for sure. But it definitely wasn't going to benefit Cliff today.

Once he's within range, he begins his assault again, a horizontal slash from the left, a diagonal slash from the right, a vertical slash from the top. Every attack is wild and unrestrained, just trying to hit Cliff.]

[Holy--

There was no time to finish the thought as he raised his guard again, trying valiantly to hold his own against the furious swings. The edge of the blade bit into his arms relentlessly with each blow, and the sharpened edge drew blood--

That was annoying.

Using his strength he pushed forward, trying to shove the kid off of him. Whatever he had to do, he either needed to overwhelm the kid of keep a distance.

Both were looking to be a difficult task.]

[Haru keeps up the pressure on his attack, only taking the sign of blood as a signal to keep up his relentless assault. When Cliff begins to push against him, he rams into him with the mutated arm, intending to knock him into a nearby building.]
