Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

Ami: Cartoon Land, Water Park, Junior Land.

First of all, Ami is loving Malnosso Land. It's the times like these that almost (but not quite) reconcile her to Luceti just a little bit. She could easily spend a week here, running from ride to ride, waiting in the lines (she doesn't mind, really!) and nibbling blue cotton candy.

When she takes a small break in Cartoon Land, she might very well have out a notebook to jot down observations about exactly how the place is breaking the laws of physics. But most of the time, she's performing agilely on the obstacle course, or quite simply walking on air and refusing to look down. It's sort of fun!

At the water park in Thrill Land, Ami is in her element in every possible way, while wearing a modest one-piece swimsuit under a lightweight cover. The smell of chlorine seems to cling to her even when she's just waiting in line. She doesn't seem to mind at all. Most of the time, though, she's at the wave pool, and once or twice she can be found lounging on a poolside chair with a book, looking quite relaxed and contented.

There's a little girl in Junior Land who seems to be alone but doesn't seem lost at all. She likes the carousel, to judge from how many times she rides it, but she spends a lot of time at the petting zoo, too, attracted most of all to the non-Earth animals, which she speaks to using pretty polite language for a little girl.

"You're here!"

A sudden, familiar voice squeals as she moves from behind Ami to try to hug her tightly, suddenly, maybe a little too strong for her age. But as ecstatic as the time Ami revealed she was from twentieth-first-century Earth.

"I'm so happy to see you! This place is great! There are animals of Earth everywhere, and some not even from that or my colony!"

Ami hadn't expected to find someone she knew, and she was glad to see Daisy, but she tensed the moment she felt the other little girl's arms go around her. Actually, she looked a little bit alarmed for just a moment before she forced herself to try to relax.

"I don't think this is Earth at all," she agreed. That was a very unsettling idea still.

When Daisy turns around to see her smaller friend, and her smile briefly disappears when she notices Ami tensing up. Slowly, she lets go.

"Sorry, Ami... I'm still happy to see you." Then, she looked around. "I never even thought this was Earth. I feel a little lighter, and got a little dizzy when it became easier to breathe..." It wasn't like Sargasso, where there were so many trees it sometimes felt too humid.

Turning on the rest of the animals, Daisy doesn't look too fazed.

"But I think Earth could have gotten these many animals..."

Ami shakes her head at that. "I don't know a lot of these," she tells Daisy very seriously. She's young, but she's read enough to be familiar with most basic animals, and it's far from the first time she's been to a zoo. So it is a bit strange. "I've never seen them before."

"But if they're not from Earth, are they all from here?" Wherever 'here' was. She wasn't sure the signs referring to the moon really meant the moon, because that seemed quite outside the realm of possibility.

It's hard not to get caught up in Ami's excitement, really. Luke's been in a good mood lately, with family and all, so the jubilant attitude of the girl he's pretty crazy about is rather infectious. In truth? It's a little surprising, but as he watches her clear the obstacle course in record time, he's clapping and meeting her at the end with a grin.

"Perfect, dear!"

It's good training, too, for the senshi who'd never quite felt she was up to the same standards as the others; but even Ami isn't thinking of that right now. She's just having fun, keeping in shape. She grins back at Luke as she finishes, in a rare open good mood.

"This is sort of fun," she admits frankly. "but I want to see everything else, too!"

"Well, I haven't been to the Bubble Land yet, have you?" Luke grins, slipping up beside her. He'd kept to the Casino mostly, because that at least was familiar. These...amusement parks...weren't really common sights at home.

"Not yet," Ami admits. "I'd like to see it!" She measures her pace to Luke's as soon as he joins her, and she instinctively takes a look around, as though looking for her direction.

"I think it was this way. I saw a map earlier."

[Spock isn't wearing a bathing suit... nor does he intend to go into the water.. ever. But, he does stop to say hello to a friend who is lounging by the poolside.]

[It's been a long time since they've seen each other, and Ami has a smile as she sets her book aside.]

Mr. Spock! I'm glad to see you again.

[For two people who live right next to each other, it was amazing how easy it was to miss someone.]

I am glad to see you as well. You are enjoying the... water? [Said with as much love as a cat has for a bath.]

[Ami, however, loves the water like a fish and practically beams up at Spock.]

I like it a lot. Besides, the water park has slides and rides, too. [Which also involve a lot of water.]

[Truthfully, he has never, ever seen a wave pool in his life. Because he's never been to a water park. Sure, they've got them at home but why go to a water park, he's got a lot better things to do. Thankfully he sees Ami, being as he's been ditched by his family at this point in time so he's kinda getting a little freaked out when he's by himself (due to an awesome phobia he picked up a la Malnosso), so he wades in, making his way over to her.]

[Ami looks up with a smile. Nope, slight grumpiness is not nearly enough to dampen her good mood today.]

It's a wave pool. They release waves at various intervals for the people in the pool to swim with. [Actually, she's timed the intervals here...]

What for? I don't see the point. [Really, it's just water. What's the fun in that?]

Sometimes they like to try surfing, or body surfing. And it can be fun to jump in the waves, too. {Yep, made for the water over here.]

Water Park

[It's at the water park that that Temari runs into Ami. Lounging poolside sounds like a fantastic idea to her and would you look at that? Seems one of the empty lounge chairs is the one next to Ami.

Better next to someone she knows than a stranger. Temari settles into the chair, drink in hand, and offers Ami a wave.]

[Apparently Temari's quite welcome. Ami sits up straighter and puts aside her book to offer a polite smile and greeting.]

It's nice to see you. Were you planning on swimming, too?

[She glances at the pool, face carefully blank.]

No. Just relaxing for a bit.

As off-putting as it is to be taken away from her home and her work, Rosalind has found that it's an invaluable opportunity to observe her fellow enclosure-mates, the denizens of the other enclosures, the Malnosso in attendance, and the new environs they've been provided with. It's an opportunity, granted, that seems to be largely squandered in favour of using it as an excuse to gamble, glut oneself, and move at controlled high velocity, but she would not have expected much more from the common rank and file.

It comes as a pleasant change, then, when she sees a young woman sat down in Cartoon Land with a notebook which, upon a passer-by's glance, seems to be filling with a catalogue of the park's abnormal behaviours.

"One hopes that an abnormally lengthened day is somewhere on that list," she comments from half-behind her shoulder, barely quirking a brow. "There must be at least a month's worth of worth of work in putting a set of laws to this particular area."

After a brief flutter of surprise, Ami affords Elizabeth a polite smile. She may be as excited about this place as anyone else, but she's also very immersed in considering how a place can be brought to break these laws of physics she's noting down.

"I'm just interested in this," she explains a bit sheepishly. "If shift technology can really accomplish this, there are so many other potential applications for it as well." Ami Mizuno, it should be noted, is not particularly good with the concept of relaxation.

She is, however, known for her manners, and she isn't slow to introduce herself more properly. "I'm Ami Mizuno," she uses the western order. "I'm pleased to meet you."

"Rosalind Lutece," she returns, nodding lightly in greeting. "And likewise."

It's gratifying to see a young woman in the area with some measure of vision or ambition - even when its ends are fruitless or nonsensical, it's a trait that she finds objectively agreeable. She looks more closely at the observations, seeking a pattern or any particular grievous omissions.

"Though I might be more interested to see what it is not capable of. Its applications, from what I've heard, are generally considered to be nearly limitless."

[The water park was perfect for Maron to play around at, though she was having a lot more fun splashing people and then trying to swim away as quickly as she could. Sure, there have been a few splash fights, but that was the fun of it all!

So, in the effort to be as quiet as possible, there will be a good wave of water coming toward Ami now, before the GIANT SPLASH WAVE that Maron will unleash the closer she gets.
