Where: The Happiest Place on the Moon, Malnosso World!
Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

Well, crap.

[Simon was starting to get an inkling as to why this place was called Bubble Land. He approached carefully, coming to crouch in front of the kid.]

DO you know who I am?

[z_jay]

[With a sigh, he rolled his eyes and glanced away-- this guy was asking too many questions]

Duh, of course I do.

[Subject change, it was vital. But he did try to sneak a peek to see if this guy was a chaperone or something, where was his damn name tag?]

So where to next? I'm hungry.

[Simon just gives him an amused look.]

You still suck at lying, I see. Alright, smart guy. What's my name?

[z_jay]

[Still?? He had every right to look offended, and he did, looking this guy up and down in a way that was definitely unimpressed.]

Not my fault if you can't remember it.

[He could pull the old-fart card, even if this guy didn't look too old. Definitely older than twenty, and that was ancient. Pushing off the bench, he rubbed his stomach with both hands, frowning a little. He was hungry, he wasn't lying about that]

And I'm not lying, I am hungry.

[Rolling his eyes in amusement, Simon pushes himself to his feet again and ruffles the kids hair. Partially to see if he was as easy to annoy as a kid as he was when he was an adult.]

Alright, alright. How's pizza sound? There's a stall over here.

And it's Simon, by the way.

Pizza sounds good, Simon.

[Smooth, and easy, at least for an old guy, he wasn't too bad. And at least he wasn't having a fit that he hadn't in fact, remembered his name. Simon was taller than he expected him to be and he worked to fix his hair, but grinned as his head ducked. After a second, he glanced over to the pizza stall and looked at Simon expectantly]

I'll order, uh... what kind of toppings do you like?

[This was important. He knew he should know this Simon, so why didn't he? There was like a spot in his head he should know this information for but why? It wasn't important, Simon would tell him if he wanted a slice. Eating alone was kind of rude...]

Everything and anything. What's the most random thing you can think of? Feeling adventurous? You could try anchovy and pineapples. [Simon teased him with a smirk, his hand falling to Eugene's shoulder as he gave him a nudge towards the pizza stand, wanting to make sure he didn't lose him until whatever this was wore off.]

[Either this man was crazy or a genius. Was that a challenge? He gave Simon a look for a few moments, unsure and not quite as deadpan as he would have managed were he about 22 years older. Glancing aside for a long moment, he leaned in a little more, giving Simon another, curious look]

Do you really like anchovy?

Not at all. [Simon gave him an unrepentant grin.] Do you?

[The smile that crept onto his face was entirely despite himself and he snirked softly, glancing away toward the pizza place]

No way. They're fish food, and they're already fish. That just seems like wimp food, to me.

[He did make his way off toward the pizza, though, giving Simon an expectant look over his shoulder]

[Simon laughed and strolled along behind him, his hands tucked in his pockets and his gait relaxed and easy.]

Alright, kid. So what do you like instead? Since we're avoiding wimpy food?

[Taking a quick glance over his shoulder, he slowed his pace to walk side by side, avoiding the urge to copy the same posture.]

You should try pineapple. Pineapple and ham is good, trust me on this.

[He easily picked a piece for Simon first, holding it out to him on a plate while snagging his own piece.]

It's got all the food groups, too. Put some green pepper and you've got it all.

A Hawaiian lover, are you? [Simon grins and accepts the offering from him, not missing the way Eugene's watching him so intently. He's a little curious about it though. And about how long this will last. And about how pissed Gene's going to be at him when he gets back...] Somehow that doesn't surprise me. And yeah, it's good. Good choice, kid.

[It was weird, watching Simon, because he had a feeling there was an expectation he was about to do something. But it never manifested in a prompt like people normally would give, and Simon seemed to be having an internal chuckle.

Really, what was this guy about? Had he kidnapped him? Internally, Eugene frowned, but he figured, any kidnapper who lets him have Hawaiian pizza couldn't be that bad]

Why doesn't it surprise you?

[Oops, that was muffled over a mouthful, but Simon didn't seem very much like a grown up.]

Because you... [are currently a kid and don't seem to remember the fact that you normally can't stand Simon and that this conversation would never be happening otherwise. But it's not like he can say that.] ...seem to have interesting and unique tastes.

[That was totally tactful and convincing. Right?]

What do you say we go find some rides after you're done with that. I hear there's a dinosaur ride around here somewhere. With an actual dinosaur. You ever been on one of those?
