Summary: So you remember all those times Luceti was transformed into Luceti Land? Welcome to Malnosso World, Luceti Land's bigger, cooler brother. Be sure to keep all hands inside the rides at all times, and refer to your map if you get lost. Trust me, you'll get lost.

[ Bubble Land: love ride is locked to people it was plotted with! OTHERWISE, it's all open. ]

[ The Paddle Boats of Love was the ONE thing Bulma was actually interested in. When she noticed the ride, she knew it would be perfect for her and Vegeta. So after dragging him over, she had counted out the lines and she was SURE she had arranged the both of them so that they could ride together.

Only now, she's at the front of the line, and he's nowhere to be found. Her first thought is that he ditched her! He would do something like that, leave her waiting while he flew off to eat or find Goku. But just as she's about to duck out of the line herself, she realizes something. WHAT if he rode it with someone else? He had been acting secretive about some things. She had thought he was only trying to be difficult, but what if...

Well, in that case, she'll show him. She'll ride it with someone else too! She might be pouting a little when her ride partner finds her already seated in the boat, but at least she's there? ]

[ Casino Land ]

[ After major disappointment(???) in Bubble Land, Bulma finds herself at one of the casinos. Sitting at one of the blackjack tables in any casino, she's got a cigarette clenched in one hand. She's got a lot to think about, now that she's alone, but there are empty seats on either side of her. ]

[ ANYWHERE??? ]

[ There's a really good chance she could be in any of the areas, shopping, or simply looking around. Or Hell, hanging out in the spas in the Villas. Anything! ]

[What Bulma finds is a bushy-browned young adult making a dramatic declaration, as he points towards her.]

So! We shall ride together!

[And then he bounds straight into his seat.]

[ OH GOD. Maybe it's not too late to escape...?? NO, no she's going to stick it out. Even if he has weird eyebrows, and a hairstyle that is too close to her own. And he's loud. So very loud. Not that she has much room to judge, but still.

She doesn't really move over any more when he gets in the boat, but she does point at him, to show her authority, as she lays down the rules. ]

You stay on your own side, and don't think you can try anything just because it's a love boat ride, you got that?

[Uh-oh! Lee has a fear of being alone... which is also his reason for taking these paddle-boat rides so often. Maybe eventually, he'll ride it with someone who won't leave him alone afterwards! This definitely isn't a good start. Lee intensely and with great focus gets into a very rigid sitting position, his arms attentively kept at his knees, to make it clear that he is staying on his own side.]

Yosh! I shall honor your request, just please do not leave me!

[ Oh no, not this again. Vegeta making her feel incredibly guilty every time she wanted to go off on her own was bad enough. It only makes sense her luck would have her trade for more of the same. She crosses her arms, sighing a little as the boat starts. ]

I'm not going anywhere in the middle of the ride!

Really, you won't? I admire that sentiment! [He says earnestly as if that were a real possibility.]

We must introduce ourselves.

[ Wow, he totally missed the point, didn't he? But instead of a comment on that, her face softens just a bit. Maybe he's not so bad. She's only known him for two minutes, after all, so maybe he just needs a chance. ]

I'm Bulma.

[Huh, that's a very alluring name. And she really isn't leaving him alone! It's great.]

Your name is beautiful. As for my own, I am... Rock Lee! [He manages to pose while sitting down.] Konoha's Beautiful Green Wild Beast...

You really think so?

[ She uncrosses her arms, leaning back in the seat. She's finally relaxing, even smiling a little. It crosses her mind, briefly, that things seem a little wrong. Shouldn't she be mad at Vegeta still? Oh well. ]

I guess Rock Lee is kind of a nice name. I'm not sure about the rest of the title, so I'll just stick with that.

I am honest! Rarely do I hear a name with such allure!

[He gives a chuckly smile towards her, untensing somewhat. It is rare for him to look untense in any way, shape or form.]

I am glad you appreciate it. And I understand if you do not accept my title immediately. If you saw me in action, accomplishing an endeavor, I am sure that you would think otherwise!

You think so? I guess I'll have to see it sometime!

[ WOW, that came out sounding more suggestive than she had meant... MAYBE. There's a dim surprise, somewhere in the back of her mind. Is this really the kind of guy she'd normally flirt with? His age isn't really a factor, sure he's young, but she, at least, LOOKS young.

MAYBE he's kind of cute, in a way... That must be it. And it must be why she's inched a little closer. ]

You know... I'd be glad to show you! [He says with a wink.] We can definitely spar sometime! [Because that's what she means, right?

A beautiful woman who seems older than him but not too much. Is she the one whom Gai-Sensei would pick out for him? Yes, perhaps this is his final will. Maybe she is the one who will dispel his fear of loneliness.

He shuffles slightly closer and looks into her eyes. And flutters his eyelashes.]

[ She gives him a playful swat on the shoulder. ]

I don't do all of that fighting stuff!

[ OH WOW... He's looking right into her eyes, isn't he? And that flutter... Is actually cute?? Before she realizes what she's doing, she leans in closer, because it really seems like a good idea. ]

Casino Land, because Trunks needs more time with mom.

[After eating his fill at the buffet, he finds his mom at one of the blackjack tables and sits down next to her. He's even able to tell right away she's disappointed about something.]

Mind if I join you?

Of course, son.

[ She manages a smile at him, as she signals that she's standing with this hand of cards, so she can turn and pay more attention to Trunks. ]

How's your day been?

[His mom asking him about his day reminded him of when he got mad at his dad and he slouches over on the table.]

It's been okay, except for a few things.

What do you mean?

[ She leans forward a little, placing her hand on his shoulder consolingly. ]

What happened?

I got into an argument with dad.

[And that's all Bulma is going to get.]

You too, huh? What was his problem this time?

[ Because obviously, it's Vegeta's fault, whatever it is. ]

[capsulepresident]

I thought it'd be fun for us to try on costumes in Halloween Land and he didn't want to. Then I told him he should try having a little more fun, but he said something about the dangers of this place. So I kind of got mad at him because he thinks everything is dangerous and we always have to focus on fighting. I just wish he'd stop thinking everyone and everything is out to get us.

[ She sighs, then turns to smash out her unfinished cigarette. She gathers her chips, and climbs out of the chair, motioning for him to join her. ]

I'm sorry, Trunks. You'd think that someone as strong as your dad wouldn't be so worried about every little thing all the time! You'd think a lot of things about him...

[He follows his mom and sighs, which followed with a frown.]

I'm not a little kid anymore, mom. I'm an adult yet dad treats me like I'm a kid or at least that's how I feel. Maybe... Maybe I'll never be good enough in his eyes.

Hey, it's not that you aren't good enough! He knows you're strong, and a great son! Back home, he's always saying that I baby you too much, or that you're too strong for... Pretty much everything.

I'm really proud of you, son. I think you turned out to be a great man, and I think Vegeta knows it too. He's just... [ There's a slight twitch in her face. ] Incapable of showing it.

[He stops walking and shakes his head slowly. His expression turns into a small frown.]

That other Trunks... You and dad still love him, don't you? Do you think if I was more like him, that dad would be more proud of me?

I really don't know how your dad feels about him. When he first arrived, Vegeta treated him almost like an enemy. Then again, he didn't really care for anyone back then.

But, I don't think that's the issue. Being anything other than yourself isn't going to help anything.
