You're so kind, thank you! [ She looks at the penguin and the jumper it is wearing. ] Hmm... I don't believe I have ever worn such a garment before. [ It does look like it would be warm though. ] It looks very cute on this penguin!

[ Yes it's very much a shame ]

It does, that's why I think it would look cute one you as well! I didn't see any clothes around here though... [What to do, what to do.] If the clothing shop back in the village doesn't have anything similar then I will make you a jumper just like this.

[She's helped make clothes for a friend back home, or tried her best at making some anyway, so she's quite sure she could handle a jumper.]

You think so? [ Hmm.. she's not so sure but maybe it's because she just hasn't put one on yet! ] Oh! You know how to make clothing?

[Erica nods enthusiastically. If it looks that good on a penguin then just think how good it would look it would look on Natalia!]

I do, and I can mend torn clothing as well. Ah, if your penguin ever has an accident then I could fix up his clothing for you so he doesn't have to wear something full of holes!

[ It would certainly be a different experience! ]

That's so kind of you! I will certainly keep it in mind in case anything ever happens. Though I will take good care of it so hopefully it doesn't happen.

I'm sure that as long as the penguin is with you then he is in good hands!

[Penguin dealt with, Erica turns her attention back towards Natalia.]

Have you been enjoying the festival so far? There's so much to do it really is hard not to have fun, isn't it?!

[ She clutches the penguin as close to her as she can as she answers. ]

I've been having a wonderful time! There are so many things to see and a lot to do as well! I hope you have also been enjoying yourself?

I have, I have! I've played at least ten games so far. I didn't win at any of them but I managed to pick up so many good things to remember this day by!

[She points to her haul of goodies before picking up a paper fan decorated with hearts and flowers so she can fan herself with it.]

Oh! I don't actually believe I've played any of the games. [ She's seen them but hasn't though about actually playing them hm ] Those are certainly a lot of items you have collected!

Thank you! A lot of them were given to me by the people running the stalls after losing a few times. [Pity prizes are still prizes okay.] Miss Natalia, would you like to come with me and play a game as well?

Oh? I didn't know they gave prizes for that. [ Unknowing Natalia is unknowing ] Yes, I'd like to try a hand at one of these games!

Me neither! All the game owners must have very good hearts. [And a very good supply of prizes which could be found for free from any other stall providing sappy Valentine's merchandise around the lake-] And I'm so happy to here it! I wouldn't want you to miss out on playing at least one of the games. Let's try over here!

[Come along Natalia, you're being gently dragged by the hand over towards a few of the game stalls. Erica's horde of 'prizes' can watch their spot while they're gone!]

I must agree! Not very many would offer things so freely! [ Except little Harvest Sprites apparently ] Oh, all right!

[ And Natalia complies with being dragged by Erica over to the game stalls. She looks at the ones available ]

Which one will we be trying?

Let me see, I've already played the one with the bottles and the baseballs before... And the one where you need to knock coconuts over... Miss Natalia, shall we try that one?

[Before waiting for a response, Erica starts pulling Natalia over in the direction of a stall where a game Hoopla is set up.]

Hm? oh--!

[ And Natalia definitely did not get a response before getting pulled over to the Hoopla game. She looks at it and tilts her head ]

I've never seen this before. How do you play?

Oh, I think I've seen something like this before! You take one of these hopes, hope as hard as you can... And see how many prizes you can knock over!

[The sprite running the stall gives her an odd look and then kindly decides to demonstrate how to play, taking one of the hoops and slipping it over one of the prizes.]

Ah... There is also that way of playing!

[ Natalia looks at the game for a moment. ]

Hmm... Allow me to try, if I may.

[ As the Sprite gives her a hoops she hopes as hard as she cans and--

does how Erica does it and knocks one over. ]

You did it! And on your first try too, that was very impressive. What do you think?

[She looks at the sprite who just... Looks back. That isn't how you play the game, why are you getting excited?]

I think they're so surprised that you managed to knock one over on your first try that they don't know what they should say! [No. No that isn't it.]

[ Natalia clasps her hands together ]

I didn't think I would achieve victorious on the first try! [ No. No you didn't Natalia. Just look at the sprite's face ]

Though I don't see there to be any need to be so speechless. I'm sure there are others who would have done the same. [ no pretty sure it's just you and Erica ]

You must have a natural talent for games like this! Now, your prize...

[The sprite looks a little worried now. She didn't win, and now the girl is expecting a prize. Would saying no be fair, during a celebration like that? Before the sprite can come up with a response, Erica nods her head and speaks up.]

Ahah, now I think they want you to knock some more off. They'll have to give you a prize if you knock off another one. [NO the game isn't difficult, why are you knocking them off?]

Hmm.. It seem you are correct [ no she's not ] I'll try again.

[ So she does what she needs to get another shot and by pure accident does it correctly instead of just knocking the doll off ]

[Shocking. The sprite needs to take a moment before realising that Natalia actually managed to play the game properly.]

You were very close. But to hit a prize like that is very impressive in its own way! [Oh of course, now she's thinking that she hasn't won. Well the sprite starts quickly heading over to the hooped prize so he can hand it over-] Perhaps you can get a bonus prize for having the hoop land that way.

[... Bonus prize??? The poor sprite is utterly baffled. With a sigh, the sprite gathers up both of the prizes Natalia hit/hooped and hands them over to her with the best smile the sprite can put on.]

Hmm, I suppose you're right. Perhaps if I ever play this again I'll have better luck.

[ Seeing that the sprite begrudgingly agreed to the 'bonus prize' she smiles back and takes the prizes. ]

[ Just as long as no more people like Natalia and Erica come along right ]
