[For most of the rest of the remaining days, Jack seems to be more or less himself. Because he actually is, on the 14th through 17th, almost exactly himself. Jack Holden, formerly of Abel Township, friendly neighbourhood radio personality and sometimes-repairperson. He may recognise a few more faces than usual, or put them in a different context, but overall very little is different.]

[Days 10-12 (April 18th-20th)]

[Shortly into the second week, though, he might start seeming a little more off. A little more distant and distractable, and prone to either being far more or far less surprised than things by usual. People who have either freshly come under a new effect or will shortly undergo one are especially prone to catching his eye.]

[Days 13-14 (April 21st-22nd)]

[Little changes, except that he will mostly be in the company of Sabriel and whoever else seems to be clustering around her. Given that it's mostly Max and Eugene, this mostly translates to him not leaving house 51 much for the next few days. They're happy to take guests, though!]

April 18

[An idle body or mind has always proved dangerous. And every day he wakes up and is forced to face, he feels that much surer that the greatest threat is with the latter.

The blades of his Chauve-Souris flash and blur, clashing against blood-webbed claws swinging for his throat. But Abel’s nothing if not persistent and rushes at him again from the air and out of portals underfoot. With spikes ripping up through the ground and explosive bursts throwing clods of dirt into his face, there’s no room to think of anything but how to stay alive. It’s the best he can do. Rolling and handspringing, slashing and parrying, always keeping one step ahead of the pain and the maddening frustration of having no defense against the Malnosso's games.

Until he can't. A Forgemaster has his limits and Isaac’s worn to the bone when he finally calls his devil off its attack, restless and jittery with more than adrenaline while he smears the blood off his face with his glove and takes the chance to catch his breath after the better half of an hour. He leans back against a tree, trusting in Abel to keep watch while he shuts his eyes against the sun slanting through the canopy of leaves and rests for just a moment. His mind’s blessedly quiet now - but he knows it can’t last.]

[17th]

Waking up this morning, Zuko finds and reads his horoscope: "Death can stalk you in all forms, even cute little pussy cats and slugs."

Thus the entire day he's struck with a huge sense of paranoia. Calling all small animals especially into question. WILL THEY BE THE DEATH OF HIM?! Cats and slugs beware!

[18th]

This day he'll have a completely new horoscope: "Your love life is ready to flourish, and all because you bought that wonderful hat the other day. You did buy it didn't you? Oh, tell me you bought the hat!"

Thus the first thing he does is run off to find himself a hat at the clothing shop. Picking up the first hat he sees. He will be wearing this around town for the rest of the day.

This day his horoscope is significantly stranger: "Everything you think about yourself will not be called into question this week. Dance like a madman, win the respect of colleagues and foes."

The entire day he'll be overcome with the desire to dance like a madman. It can happen just about any time, anywhere.

[20th-22nd]

These three days Zuko will look and act quite different.



He will be stalking the streets rather angrily, dressed in dark armor. "I'm looking for the Avatar! Where is he?!"

[The Sam who awakens on the 17th might look little different from his usual self at first glance. A little distant, perhaps, a little colder, but that always disperses after a moment when he smiles and everything's back to normal.

Looking a little closer though, there's something in the eyes. He's twenty-four, but his eyes, god, his eyes look ancient and it bleeds through into his expression and his words, a snap of power.

And if it seems like sometimes there's more than one person speaking, strange asides and odd phrasing, well, Luca is ancient and does not care.]

[There's something off about this man, yes. Shuda can't quite put his finger on what it is, but it's enough to make the hair on the back of his neck stand on end and his hand subtly shift towards the hilt of his sword.

He won't attack, though, not yet. Not unless the man makes the first move. But every inch of his body shows his wariness and he isn't even going to attempt to hide it as the stranger approaches him.]

[Today was a rather normal day, except for a little bubble that pops up on occasion over Karis's head. Is that text appearing in the bubble?

Feel free to catch her anywhere around Luceti! Karis isn't aware of her thought bubbles yet, someone might learn what she really thinks of them!]

21st:

[Horoscope: Don't sleep, shriners want to eat you. Karis is going to try and keep plenty of caffeine in her system, she can't afford to sleep, not with a constant threat on the loose! She's a bit paranoid during the day, but the closer it gets to nighttime, that paranoia will skyrocket, and she might be a little out of it later in the night, guzzling down drinks at Good Spirits.]

22nd:

[Horoscope: You're not a cannibal, you're just curious. Passerby might suddenly find their hands in between Karis's teeth! Hands are the only thing that can satisfy her.]

[Unfortunately, Vegeta's suffering from a horoscope reading as well: Yeah, she was talking about you. Today is the last day of the rest of your life.]

[Then all of a sudden there's a woman latched onto his arm. Her teeth. Latching onto his arm.

17th

[So it seems like something has added itself to Eley's journal today. Something called a 'horoscope' which he feels must be there for a very important reason. A premonition perhaps?

Well, it certainly seems that way, for today's horoscope reads: 'Today you will suffer an illness that is more annoying than dangerous.' And throughout the day, the Spirit will be found looking progressively more pale and sickly until he develops an awful itch all over his body that he can't quite satisfy, along with some rather garish purple spots on his skin.

18th

[Today the horoscope has changed and thank goodness whatever was going on beforehand seems to have stopped. Now however, the horoscope reads: 'You need a pet. Go ask someone to pet you.'

Normally, Eley wouldn't dare ask such a strange question, particularly when it involved asking others to come into physical contact with him. Still, he can't resist the sudden urge to be touched throughout the day and will not hesitate to approach your character whilst fidgeting awkwardly... and quite possibly even following them until he plucks up the courage to ask.]

19th-22nd

[On the 19th Eley's horoscope is incredibly simple. 'Adopt a chicken'. Was this what it had meant by needing a pet before? He certainly didn't dislike animals but he wasn't a huge lover of them either and had no idea how to care for one himself. Still, if it says he needs to adopt a chicken today then he better find himself a chicken.

...honestly he's not sure where to start so he'll ask anyone he meets a very simple question.]

[Even after the horoscope has removed itself from the journal, Eley will continue his quest and head out to the farmlands. They were farmed creatures after all, yes? Perhaps somewhere there could help him!]

[There isn't much to do here besides wander around, shoot the shit with whoever he can find, and get kicked out of the bar - which isn't all that different from what Jean would be doing back home, to be honest. For now, he wanders, his gait leisurely and lacking purpose. He's not the young man Eleytheria might remember for criticizing his lackluster sense of humor. Not only is he older, but he's let life beat him down into the dirt.

And just because he's half drunk, don't think he hasn't noticed the guy trailing behind him. Finally, he turns around, cocking an eyebrow.]

[Day 8(ish?)-10 - aged up]


[In the years that had passed, she had mellowed out considerably. After all, there were more important things to think of. The orphanage and the kids who lived there were only a few things on that list. She was no less spirited than before, and her mischievous nature had remained as well. Still, everyone had to grow up sometime, and she had figured that out a long time ago. More or less. Sometimes though, she couldn't help but wonder how her life would have turned out if things had worked out between her and Rudy. First loves were a hell of a thing.

Oh well. They still got along well, so that was the important part. Having someone that was more or less a business partner helped too.]

[Day 11-12 - unaffected]

[Finally, it was all over. And a little sooner than everyone else, too!

However, it turned out to be a false sense of security, because not that long afterwards...]

[Day 13-14 - tiny]

[...she became too small to even reach the doorknob for her apartment. Or any doorknob, for that matter. It wasn't just annoying to be this small. It was dangerous! She had to stay out of everyone's way and avoid getting stepped on! And of course, asking for help was the last thing on her mind.

So if anyone heard some rather colourful language that sounded more like squeaking than speech, there was a very good chance she was nearby.]

[If Jane's in the square today, she might notice a familiar face walking out from one of the shops. He definitely spots her anyway, smiling.]

Hey. [There's a casual, friendly wave for her as he approaches, holding his bag with his other hand.] Another busy week, looks like.

[It's pretty obvious there was another shift going on, just from observing the square alone. He's been here long enough that they're just another part of life now, and fortunately most of the kids were exempt anyway. Which is one thing he's thankful for - he doesn't doubt it'd be rough for a kid to grow up dealing with something like that, nevermind other things.]

April 17-19

[Vash is still pretty small for the next few days. Doing his best not to feel sad that all his old friends are no longer in Luceti. Instead he focuses on making new ones. Something else disturbing is what happens when he tries to eat things at the bakery. As even the doughnuts are making the little boy feel very sick. Yet it seems no one else is feeling the same.]

Um. I think I need to return these.

[So it's to Seventh Heaven for lunch. Where Vash tries to show just how 'adult' he is by ordering macaroni and cheese with broccoli on the side. Although he's not really eating it. More poking at it trying to tell himself he should eat the gross food.

After victory over the broccoli, tiny Vash will find a bag of gummy bears which he will eat while sitting on top of the playground jungle gym. It seems like a great idea until he has to get down. He hates that part.] Ahh-- I shouldn't have climbed so high!

[Find the boy wandering around pretty much all around Luceti. He'll wave shyly at anyone he catches looking at him or his long hair.] Hello.

April 20-22

[Finally Vash is returned to his proper age. Only there's a problem. He's still not back to normal. He stops visiting any place with a high concentration of humans. No more working at Seventh Heaven, Azalea, or the orchard. He'll still drink at Good Spirits, but he'll keep to himself instead and shoot glares at anyone he thinks is human that walk in. He'll even mutter under his breath to himself.] Disgusting. The lot of them.

[Instead Vash will be spending most of his time at the Battle Dome. The ace gunman finally showing off the height of his skills where anyone could see instead of trying to do it privately. Hoards of Third Party holograms falling to his sharp shooting. When he runs out of bullets he'll switch to hand to hand. He's not as good with the hand to hand, but he's so quick on his feet that most can't keep up with the outlaw. Vash will come out once he grow tired.

Anyone is welcome to come up and talk to him at any point over the next couple days, but he's not going to be very pleasant to talk to.]

[Days 9-13]

[Jade is looking quite different today. Now he has a different military uniform bearing the 'wings of freedom', matching that of a number of Luceti's arrivals from the past few months. He also bears the 3D Maneuver Gear, complete with a pair of sharpened swords and their box-like sheaths.

He could be found at a number of places throughout Luceti throughout these days. At the library, he conducts research on what he can find, primarily trying to find any indication that Titans exist on other worlds. At the stables, he peruses the horses to try to find one to ride. At the Battle Dome, he runs a number of training simulations and will encourage others from his world to participate as well. He can also be found examining the forest and testing his maneuver gear on the trees there. He can also be found roaming the village, where he'll be sure to stop and talk to the others from his world when he sees them.]

[Day 14]

[At the end of it all, Jade finds himself turned into a black cat. He can still talk - if anything, looking back on all these weeks' weirdness, he now feels sassier than ever.

He can appear anywhere and everywhere around the village with a one-liner prepared. It's not quite clear how, though. Maybe he has a teleporting shift on top of it all. Or maybe, he's learned to harness the mysterious powers which all cats possess...]

[At the library, Jade will find his path obstructed once he enters. By a giant black owl.

The huge creature will look down at him with an unreadable expression as always.]

[He's already seen his share of it. Including a small teleporting owl. Its starting to get quite annoying.]

[April 17-18:]

[He wakes up that morning feeling--fine, actually. He feels just like he's supposed to. After all, he's supposed to be ten years old, right, so there's nothing wrong or weird about him. The trouble is everything else. Where is he? Why is he above ground, out in the sunlight? Who are all these people, and why's there all this food everywhere? It makes no sense. He doesn't trust it. There's got to be something wrong, and he's going to find out what it is.

So, that's why there's a ten year old skulking around, doing what Farlan does best: sneaking, and breaking and entering. He's small and quick, and he can fit just about anywhere. He can pick locks, too, especially once he's scrounged up some tools to assist him. There's a mystery afoot, and Farlan's going to figure it out!

Also, he has little respect for personal property, which is why he may be breaking into unattended rooms and buildings.

At other points in the day, however, he is stuffing his face in the local eateries. So much food, and all so good.

Or he's just standing outside, staring at the sky. He's seen it before, but only in glimpses. It's just--really big and open and bright. It's amazing. He feels like he could look at it all day. Well, when he's not eating--and sometimes when he is, because he can eat and look at the same time.]

[April 19:]

[Farlan is dressed much like others from his world: wearing the 3D Maneuver Gear, and with the same military uniform, but with a difference: the crest on his uniform is of a unicorn rather than wings. And why shouldn't it be? He's a member of the Military Police. And the only one in Luceti, unfortunately, as far as he's aware. It's comparatively overrun by the Survey Corps. He patrols the streets, because there have to be some people keeping order, right?

What a pain.]

[[ooc: At first, Farlan is aged down to 10 and doesn't remember his future or his time in Luceti, but I don't have any kid icons for him. Then, Farlan is AUed within his canon to be a member of the Military Police, who has survived up to the "current" time in AoT canon. As far as he's aware, he never lived in the slums, and he entered the military in the usual way. He was one of the top ranking students among the trainees of his year.]]

17th to start

[Ginia's room up on the seventh floor of Flame Building is empty as the owner is out walking her dog. The place itself is very tidy and fairly spartan; pots and pans in the well-stocked kitchen, a few books set on the coffee table, a decorative pillow on the couch, but there's not much else. The same goes for the rest of the apartment, with only a few more scattering of personal items and books around. Ginia lives a very simple life.

Farlan has around five minutes to explore before Ginia returns to the apartment, her dog barking at the door.]

[April 17th - 22nd]

[Ginia can be found around the village wearing the uniform of the Survey Corps, sans gear. It's a bit of annoyance her own 3DMG hasn't arrived, but at least she can simulate it in the Battle Dome.

She can be found frequently in the Battle Dome, normally training against titans, but also testing her skills against Third Party simulations. She's not a team leader for nothing and has the skills to prove it, hitting hard and fast and quickly getting out of the way for another shot.

The library is also a frequent haunt as she loses hours exploring the books and wealth of knowledge open to everyone. She can also be found at the bakery, Seventh Heaven, Mythoria Cafe, A Shot in the Dark, or the grocery store because where there's food, there's Ginia. She's a big eater, but can hardly be blamed given a life of rations. Finally, she can be found at Good Spirits every night, having a drink on behalf of lost and fallen comrades.

On most occasions, Laika can also be found padding alongside her owner. Silly, shifted owner.]

18th.

[ Erwin catches up to her at the library, the sound of his boots against the floor announcing his presence before he casually comes to stand beside the chair where she is seated, reading. One hand settles on the back of it. With the other, he makes a few uncomplicated motions. ]

/Train with me today?/

[ It's a simple request they often make of one another, asked in a language they'd constructed together. Though he's been training most often with Levi recently--well, perhaps not most recently; there's been almost none of that over the last month or so--Erwin never fails to return to training with Ginia and Mike, those he's been sparring with since he was a trainee some twenty-five years ago. He keenly feels the lack of Mike here in Luceti, in large part because he does have Levi, Hange, and Ginia; Mike's absence is made all the more striking by their presence. He's certain that Ginia feels the absence of their friend as well. But at least the two of them have one another to rely on, just as they have for two and a half decades. (Cut short, he reminds himself yet again, a dull ache in his chest.)

Erwin had come to the library for the purposes of picking up a book, but finding Ginia as well was a happy coincidence. They can enjoy the nice weather together. ]

[Morning of April 17th; for Raven]

[She wakes up gasping from the nightmare, heart pounding and tears streaming down her face. It hadn't been that much different form her normal nightmares. In the arena, fighting to stay alive. Failing to protect Peeta... or Prim... maybe it was Gale? Either way, it wasn't for the first time. The dreams were all similar, all too very much alike. Always. There's no escape

She uses the back of her hand to wipe at the tears. It's then that she notices. Even in the dark of the room, there's something off about the coloring of her hand. And as she looks around, she realizes the whole room is different. Wrong. Not hers.

So she does the one thing she can think of. Katniss scrambles into the nearest clothing she can find and climbs out the window to make her way to the house she does know. Her memories are in tact this time time but... But something's still wrong.

And when she sees herself asleep in her bed, her heart skips a beat. Something's very wrong, indeed.]


[April 18th-22nd]

[In the end, she's not certain which she's despised more: having a different life or winding up in someone else's body. At least, in so many ways, it's a body familiar to her own. Raven's training has helped her, at least, to maintain the blonde-haired, blue-eyed image of the girl whose body she's trapped in. But every now and then, she loses her control and the appearance flickers.

It's a lot harder being a shape shifter than Katniss ever imagined. And though she does her best to avoid people more now than before, there's only so much she can do when it comes to that. Time is, otherwise, spent like normal: in the woods or around town. And almost always with her bow.]

Days 7 to 12: Tower of the Queen AU

[Sabriel has changed quite a lot in such little time. For a start her appearance is almost the opposite of what those who know her are used to. Golden waves fall past her shoulders and her choice of clothing is much more medieval in theme, not to mention a touch more feminine and sensual. In fact whenever she can be spotted around the village with or without some of the dear young men who've welcomed her into their home she has an almost predatory gaze to her. Then again that's to be expected of the daughter of a Dragon. Sabriel might not be familiar with this part of the land but she's still open to finding something, or someone lovely and beautiful to add to her collection.]

Days 13 and 14: Castlevania AU

[Sabriel's glamour of the previous couple of days is gone, along with most of the good mood she had been sporting. Where she had once been eager to be in the middle of the action she has now withdrawn to the sidelines, watching the village and it's residents with a calm and cautious eye. More often than not she can be found in the woods patrolling the area to ensure that the things that belong in the shadows stay there.]

[In what’s left of his human heart, he knows that he deserved to die among the ruins of the demon castle with his own ilk, a monster among monsters, denied this second chance in a foreign land. Sabriel would have been happier that way he often tells himself, after the burdens he had placed on her. But the choice was and always has been out of his hands.

He can’t make up lost time, for the milestones in her life gone unnoticed by him. But with dust having settled and his vendetta with Hector a matter of the past, he can only try to be the brother she had needed and the brother she had always deserved. Even if has yet to grow accustomed to human kindness, and even if he stumbles and falls in attempting to offer kindness of his own, he’s trying - and it’s the most he can do.]

[He twiddles two fingers for emphasis, a teasing grin curling his lips. And as he makes his way to her, grass rustling underfoot, he draws something from his belt and lightly tosses it her way. It's a small cloth pouch drawn shut at the top, filled with some freshly-picked mushrooms and herbs.]

Loki

Days 8-10
Loki is still a water bender. For reference, from the previous log:
Loki now dresses in a very similar style to Katara's. He becomes a bit more of a loner, then, spending a lot of time out in the woods, practicing his water bending. Though he does still haunt the library at least; the man loves books no matter what universe he's from. But he's a much quieter, much more outwardly angry Loki.

Tea, though. He still likes tea no matter where he's from as well. And he'll be around the tea shop with a pai sho board, and he'll even talk to people and challenge them to a game if he's feeling relaxed enough.

Days 11-14
Another abrupt change. Loki's still wearing blue, but it's a Starfleet uniform similar to the one Spock wears--for those in the know, his rank is that of a lieutenant commander. More interesting, his eyes have changed. Gone are the startling green; instead, his irises are black, which is characteristic of Betazoids. He also no longer answers to the name "Loki" -- he's named Lon Perigen now.

Lon swings wildly between being hyper social and in the thick of things, particularly open to touching people, and being a very quiet loner, almost hiding away. In his social phases he's likely to be at the club or the bar, and potentially on the way to getting drunk. Otherwise he's hidden away in his house, or the library.

[WARNING: On days 11-14 Loki is a full on Betazoid, so he is a telepath. He's a good little Betazoid so he's not going to be peering into anyone's head on purpose unless he's very drunk, but he will pick up on loud thoughts and emotions whether he likes it or not. Day 9

[It was awkward, but she had to do it. It wasn't fair to let Steve's routine dissipate just because he wasn't in his own body. So, despite feeling a little strange, she went for a run. It was exhilarating to run as quickly as she was, a dead sprint in her own body, but a paced jog in this one. Dressed in a pair of sweats and a t-shirt, "Steve" was jogging through the woods along the rivers. It's there that she comes upon Loki, dressed differently and moving...water? She slows and stops, watching.]

[Days 11-14 (April 19-22), various places]


[The second week sees a small creature curiously wandering/floating around the village, examining pretty much everything that exists and talking aloud (at least telepathically) to himself. Although he's clearly not human, he seems to act mostly like a human child, interested in the playground, the fountain, the bakery, and other places that children might like.

And if you aren't interested in approaching a weird little animal thing, it's possible that he'll come right up to you, point towards the nearest object of interest, and ask: ]

Day 12

[ Wow after so many things happening to Ash it was kind of great to be back to being himself again. What all was he? A Pikachu for the majority but he was also some aura guardian and an princess. How strange.

But Ash is totally interested in approaching baby mewtwo because hey he looks very familiar. So when he sees him at the playground he and Pikachu go right on over to him. ]

[week 2 - 17th-22nd]

[For the first day or so, Billy - in full Asgardian gear - is disoriented, confused, and keeping much to himself. He's a pretty smart guy, though, so eventually he works out what's going on and what the situation is. After that? He's in full-blown hero mode. Flying around the village and the surrounding area, keeping an eye in the sky for stragglers or confused and lost individuals, basically making sure everyone has answers and a safe place to settle in. He may not have all the answers, but he's determined to try, dammit. That's what heroes do.

...And, okay, he's still kind of a crappy hero. More a hero-in-training. But trying is better than sitting around and moping about the situation, so.

Very rarely is he in civvies, mostly to keep up appearances, but sometimes he'll settle in and become a more familiar face to those unaffected. But he doesn't remember anything of Luceti, and he looks almost three years younger, too.]

19th

[Well, it's not that Lon has never seen men fly before. There are all sorts of technological tricks that make it possible, not to mention low-gravity situations. He's not seeing any of that in operation here. So perhaps it's a phenomenon he hasn't seen before.

...which there seems to be a lot of that going around here.

He's dosed himself recently so his headache has receded completely and he wants contact with other people besides, to put him on the level of feeling normal. So it seems a perfect moment to investigate.

So as the young man goes flying by, he'll wave to him. Perhaps he's friendly.]

All Week

[April 17, Closed to Law and Itachi]

Usually, Sasuke was a light sleeper.

Usually, he didn't share a bed.

The presence of another body dulled some of the senses of a shinobi by necessity. No need for every shift, every breath, to wake a shinobi in the night. Were that the case, none could ever share a bed. Then again, it had been some time since Sasuke had shared a bed (the cabins on Valentines notwithstanding). So he woke maybe a little earlier in than normal, stirring in the hours before dawn, blinking in the odd grogginess of first natural waking. ...Blinking a lot, actually, trying to get his eyes to adjust.

Occasionally, Uchiha Itachi can be seen out in the village this week, usually no more often than to run errands - buy groceries, visit a home or two, the shrine - moving perhaps a little more quickly and furtively than usual. On Thursday morning, he'll be found in the tea house, drinking a cup of green.

[Groceries you say? Well it just so happens that Naruto is working one of his usual shifts in the convenience store when he spots the fellow Konoha ninja. It's been a while since they've spoken in person, and not over the journals.]

[This isn't the first time Itachi has woken up in Sasuke's body. There's a difference this time around, however, as his vision is quite a bit better. For someone who's been near blind for years now, and worse this past week without his Sharingan, the difference is shocking. He stares up at the ceiling, startled, when he wakes, then slowly turns that gaze to the rest of the room. The surroundings seal what he's already started to guess.

Which means his brother is likely in his body now. It will be best for all of them if he heads over that way so that they can decide what to do with this turn of events. ... If Law hasn't found himself in the body of another as well.

Standing up is a slow process, as he has to allow himself time to adjust to the new height and build. Things may be a bit clumsy for the first couple of days, but that won't stop him from getting where he needs to be. And right now that's back home.]

[Once matters are settled there, the ninja can be found hanging around the aforementioned house or in various places around the village - taking advantage of the fact that he can see better than he has for some time. He doesn't want to get used to it, but it would be wrong of him to pass up the opportunity.

The lake, the shrine, and the center of town are all good places to find "Sasuke", but he'll be all over.

[It's early in the week and Law has returned to normal for the time being. There's no telling what will happen until the experiment is done, but the pirate is grateful for the respite.

Dealing with his husband and his brother in law swapping bodies is awkward enough right now. He could probably put them back where they belonged in their right bodies, but messing with the Shift might have unintended consequences. Better to let it run its course.

Right now he's not on shift at the clinic, but he has his journal close at hand in case of an emergency. Sitting on the porch, finishing sword maintenance. Seriously considering a walk after.

Some exercise, either alone or with company, would do a world of good.]

[Sometime on the 17th, there will be an unassuming glazed donut simply sitting there, on the ground, in the village plaza. It's covered in chocolate and small, red, spicy candies.]

[Zuko is walking through the plaza when he sees this donut sitting there rather suspiciously. He stops to consider it, his eyes narrowed. Earlier today he had received a horoscope that death would be stalking him in all forms. Surely this is the work of some mastermind to destroy him.]

All Week

[Steve had managed to avoid any and all shifts the previous week, much to his relief. This week, however, he isn't quite so lucky. One morning he wakes up in a body that definitely isn't his own. One that happens to belong to his girlfriend instead. As if things weren't already awkward enough between them.

For the first couple of days Steve will try to keep a low profile, remaining around the Flame Building and trying to avoid interacting with anyone. But it doesn't take him long to develop a case of cabin fever. He continues his regular schedule of visiting the Battle Dome and Seventh Heaven, but otherwise tries not to draw any attention to himself. This is not something he wants to explain to anyone.]

[Lon is still looking around the village, particularly curious about the Battle Dome. The technology is certainly interesting, and he'd like to take it apart a bit, though he has a feeling the people around here might object. But he does have fun designing scenarios and learning the systems. It's also a good place to get away from other people when he starts having headaches; while he has a bit of his "medicine" on hand, he needs to ration it out for when he's going to need to be around groups.

That's where he runs into Steve. He looks up from the computer for the Battle Dome and offers a sheepish smile.]

Oh, I'm sorry. I don't mean to hog this...

[Though then his brows draw together and he looks at Steve with eyes that are now black instead of green.

Lon is far too well-trained to listen in to other people's minds uninvited, but he's also always been very powerful as far as his people go. Which is part of why his parents didn't even want to let him leave home. And while he's trying very hard to block everything out that he can, he still gets the feeling that something is very off.]

[Anise wakes up on the morning of the seventeenth disappointed that she's reverted back to her actual age. The disappointment doesn't last very long, though, as she's soon faced with a very new set of problems. Not only is this not her room, but whoever's room it is has a pretty tacky sense of decor. Who could possibly need this much black and pink, anyway? The only person she could think of was Gloomietta and...oh no.]

[There's a pretty deafening shriek (and string of choice words) that can be heard throughout the rest of House 47, as what looks like a certain pink-haired god-general marches down the halls. She marches out of the house, and takes the quickest way that she knows through town to get back to House One; there had to be some way out of this, and even if there wasn't, she was afraid of what Arietta might do with her body.]

[On top of everything else, looking like this made her just feel gloomy. All of Arietta's clothing was super uncomfortable, and she couldn't see with all this hair in her eyes, and augh! She took back whatever she said about the last few days, she hated this event and she wanted it over!]

[It's been a little disorienting. For all the strangeness that tends to happen in New York, none of it has ever really happened to her. Despite the pink ballgown apparel, "she" tries to go about her business and look as regal as possible while doing so. Because of the outfit, fancy blond wig, and fan often being held in front of her face, most people might not recognize her for who she actually is...well, until she speaks, perhaps. But, despite how odd she may or may not be, she's still willing to chat with anyone that decides to speak with her. Towards the end of the week, she does seem to be a little more tired though, often trying to stifle a yawn behind a hand, but that's probably nothing to concern yourself with...

[The moment Gold sees the picture of the beautiful "princess", his mind is filled with two feelings.

The first feeling is a strong sense of justice. After all, these Pokemon are trying to find her, so she's lost! Maybe she's in danger! What if she's being held captive somewhere by a terrible monster?! Oh, he'd never be able to live with him if he just left things be and did nothing to save her. He's a HERO, after all!

The second feeling is a feeling of attraction, because HOT DAMN BEAUTIFUL (or at least assumedly beautiful, because how can a princess not be beautiful? That's like the number one law of princesses) PRINCESS NEEDS SAVING.]

[ Day 10 (April 18th) -- Closed to probably just Shikamaru and Jean (ring me if you think you fit in too) ]

[ Masaomi woke up in his bed today. Wearing the same clothes as ever... but not in the right body. It feels different, he wakes up as a mostly naked woman, but he can't even focus on that. Because there is a huge onslaught of whispers and other noises that he cannot pinpoint an origin for and he might even be starting to freak out. Just a little. Okay more than a little. A lot of terror with his roommate, coaching with the person he is switched with, and then finally mild fascination with being in a woman's body follows. ]

[ Day 11 -> Day 12 (April 19th -> April 20th) ]

[ Masaomi-in-Jean's Body is still not feeling 100%. Being around a large group of people still pretty much sucks. While he would normally prefer to just hang out at the Convenience Store or socialize to get over a weird mood like the one he finds himself in in this body, that's... not really an option. So, instead, he decides to power through it with more than a little irreverence to try to get over his genuine fear. Thusly, there are a few haunts you will run into Masaomi-Jean: Deep in the Mountains in a fertile valley there (if you are there for some godforsaken reason), the Hot Springs, and the beach. Eventually, being so near various sources of water, after the first day, Masaomi does decide to try his hand at seeing what it feels like to wear women's swimsuits in a woman's body. And swimming. Which means, of course, there is a possibility of seeing him at the clothing shop, but more late Saturday night. He's not going to try to pretend to be Jean long term because that just... wouldn't accomplish much. But he might pretend short term. Pity that while it's getting warmer the ocean isn't totally warm yet. His Pikachu (Linda) is also beside him, but clearly not used to this new scent and weirded out ]

[ Day 13 -> Day 14 (April 21st -> April 22nd) ]

[ Aaaaand he's back to normal in his own body. And really, nothing is off with him for the first time in the event! Oh sure, he might teleport somewhere inconvenient if it'll facilitate a thread or he might have some inconvenient thought bubbles pop up here and there, but mostly? He's back to normal. ... Maybe with some light memory differences with a certain friend of his, but no one will notice those, likely. ]

[Vash was enjoying a brief moment of being the correct age and completely himself. If only for a moment as a change would be taking hold of him later in the day.

He needed to do something that made him feel more like himself. An adult. Not the small shrimp he had just been. The idea comes crashing to him as a beautiful redhead enters the clothing shop. Why, hello there!

The outlaw will enter the store shortly after Masaomi and walk up beside him as he searches through the clothing.] Something I can help you with? Because if you're searching for my heart, then I can guarantee that you already hold it in your hands!

[He's so close -- as he goes to bed on the 21st, Neji reflects with relief that the current batch of Shifts has been going on for some time and he seems to be blissfully unaffected.

But the next morning, it isn't 19-year-old Neji waking up to another familiar day in Luceti. It's a very small child who has awakened in a completely strange place, full of belongings he knows can't be his, closet full of clothes for a grownup, not for a little boy!

Dressed in his pyjamas (because he has nothing else that fits), itty-bitty Neji wanders out into the village, pale eyes wide with nervousness, and searches for anyone who seems even a little familiar.]

[And here's a young boy who's running back and forth through the hallway outside the apartment, eager to explore these new surroundings. He's already almost out of breath.]

[Day 8: Personality Shift, Teleportation/Thought Bubbles]

[Rock Lee is acting very different today. He still makes his way around the village and trains, but his energy is lacking when it comes to talking to other people. He is suddenly very shy and sheepish around others, and it's easy for him to feel shy and embarrassed. Those who remember Hinata might find his behavior to be very similar to hers.

Of course, it doesn't help that he keeps teleporting to different places throughout the enclosure. And he has thought bubbles that keep flickering on and off.]

[Days 9-11: Rave Master AU]

[Rock Lee goes though a similar daily routine as always. Jogging around. Doing push-ups in the plaza, testing things in the Battle Dome. It's hard to tell that he's now a different person at all.

No, it actually is very easy. Because the primary difference is that he's now wearing this..]

[Days 12-13: RPG/Fairy Tale]

[Meet the wandering troubadour, Rock Lee. There are now ruffles on his jumpsuit, and he bears a lute in hand. As he wanders around, he cannot do anything other than play the lute and sing about the surroundings or the people who approach him.

He'll be eager to join anyone on a quest as well! But he won't be able to fight at all. All he can do is use his music to help people to move again.]

[Day 14: Kid Lee]

[Lee wakes up as a truly young man. The young boy scampers around town, eager to investigate his surroundings. He jogs around and works out throughout the village, but without any of the skill of his older self. It's closer to what you'd expect of a normal child.

You may also catch him focusing intensely in place as he tries to catch a ninjutsu. Or, you may find him starting to shed tears after he fails once again.]

[Shuda has seen a lot of strange things during his time in Luceti (and participated in what he would consider more than his share of them). As such, he likes to think he's become pretty inured to even the weirdest things this place can throw at him.

The sight of Lee in a very familiar outfit is causing him to revise that thought, however. Now that's just cruel.]
