Summary: So like, there's these people. They think they're in love. But suddenly the experiment is over and they're all like, "WHOA! I can't believe I totally made out with you!" But the other one is like, "Oh my god, gross!" and the other goes, "Come on it was awesome!" But the second one is like, "You pervert, I'ma kill you with my space lasers!" And then shit blew up and it was awesome. The End.

Okay it's after the event. Suddenly you realize you're not in love! Maybe the person you were with fell asleep next to you. Whaddya gonna do now? Awkward abounds! The village fractures! True Love loses yet again. So much for that being the strongest force of all, am I right?

[You know the nitty and gritty of Rin's morning is really up to Rune and/or other people and probably is all up in the air. but in the afternoon, one very confused, very distraught, and very messed up Okumura is lamenting about how much he hates this place from a seat near the piano of Seventh Heaven. He knows he can't play. He probably wouldn't be no good talking to people or cooking in the mood he's in either, but this place where he has a respectable job is as good of place as any to try meditation techniques. which he's trying now]

[Shiemi didn't feel like doing much that day. She wasn't sure how to confront Silver because he's a nice guy and she still wanted to be friends. She's not sad, or hurt. Just a little awkward. Maybe she can talk to him about it tomorrow. But for today - or tonight, rather, when Rin gets home...

She hears the door across the hall from her open and shut. That's her cue. She leaves her room and walks to Rin. Quietly Shiemi knocks.]

Rin?

[rashness]

[Slam, more like. Meditation or not, he just ends up pissed off, and he goes to sulk on the couch before anything. But then... almost immediately a knock. And then her voice. The only reminder of home that exists here beyond some vague comparison.

Bah He doesn't answer the door, but he makes some groan from behind it]

[shamelessness]

Rin! [Her voice is a little louder this time. Oh no. This can't- not like in the prison. She knocks again.]

[rashness]

[UGH. There's a groan, and he flips off the couch, shuffles over to the door, and opens it for her. He looks... frustrated. Despite of his time trying to meditate, tired]

[shamelessness]

Are you... all right? [Stupid Shiemi! Of course he's not. But she's worried. She's trying to be a better friend. She wants to help Rin.]

[Of course he's not? but what's he even supposed to say to that? He grunts a bit before looking away]

[...Upset about what, huh] 'Bout that damn experiment?

You slammed the door. [Come on, Rin. She can... feel that you're not happy. She's just not sure how to approach it yet.]

Yeah, and so what if I did?

[There's an almost-growl of frustration in here, and he paces back a bit. It might be her cue to step in the apartment proper. Protip: it's a mess]

[Shiemi steps in. She's been in the place maybe once, if not twice before. Not too many times, but enough so that she doesn't feel like too much of an intruder when she steps in.]

I want to know what's bothering Rin.

[rashness]

What's brothering- isn't it obvious?! They're screwing me! With you- everyone?! Didn't you feel how messed up that was last week?!

[And as he says this, his voice grows more raw, louder, and his temples start to light on fire]

[Unfortunately or not, Precis is at Rin's place early in the morning. It's not because she wants to be, really, or that she feels she has to explain things...but Rin should see it coming, seeing as how she left a few random tools around the place the few times she came over.

She knocks on his door--the main door, not the bedroom door. Then...she speaks, because she doesn't want Rin to be mad at her. She doesn't want anyone to be mad at her, so she can't surprise him.]

Rin? It's me, are you home? Or are you still asleep?

[rashness]

[He, well, actually is. On the couch, specifically. Snoring too. He likes to sleep a lot okay.]

[rocketpunch]

[Knocking louder now, with her robotic hand instead of her normal one.]

Heeeey! Rin, are you there?

[rashness]

[There's a sound of a boy awakening properly. And then a thud. And then a-] Whaaaaaaaaaat!!

[rocketpunch]

Ugh, enough already! I'm coming in, okay?

[There. That's enough warning for someone who might not be wearing pants. If the door isn't unlocked, well..she'll pound harder. If it isn't? She's just going to walk right on in, Robbie walking behind her.]

[rashness]

[It is not. Which is why Rin will be walked in on with no shirt and pants half-way up his legs. He pulls them up the rest of the way, frozen in time]

[See icon. She's going to repeat it now, running into the room to try and kick him.]

I gave you plenty of warning! Why weren't you dressed?!

[and that hits him in the chest, maybe the head, and calls him to flop over backwards onto his ass]

I was starting to!

I knocked, like, plenty of times. [Watches him fall. Doesn't help him back up. Deal.] Where's my wrenches? I came to get them.

[What- that's what she's... asking... about...] They're around here somewhere... yeah.

[Okay probably under the couch or something]

[Just going to start looking for them and picking them up, kinda quietly. It's awkward! For her, at least, she's not sure about Rin. Or even if he's still...she just...doesn't know!]

By the way, we're broken up, right? Since it wasn't really real or anything.
