Summary: Mikado's trying his hardest to replicate Dollars here in Luceti. Hopefully this meeting will be fruitful...!?

After sending out another text reminder, the first actual face-to-face meeting of Luceti Dollars is underway!?

Mikado has planned to hold it in the town square so that there are no barriers between the people who were able to respond by phone and other normal residents of Luceti. Meeting inside a building would mean that they'd be exclusive, but that's not true. Most people must pass this part of town at least one point in the day, right? He wants to keep most communications off the journal, so advertising would be hard. This is the best way, in his mind.

So yes, anyone and everyone is welcome to join in! The purpose? ...Not much, just mingling, getting to know the faces of the faceless group!

Mikado himself won't be joining in until later. :|b

No idea here. But the plaza seems a little busier than usual today, and that's weird. Socializing is not Shinji's strong point, so he kind of tries to avoid most of the crowd, but if he sees someone lingering by themselves, he might stop to ask them...]

Mmm, I wonder. Maybe lots of people are just out for a stroll?

That's a pretty weird reason... [Though not impossible, he supposes.] What about you?

I should've known. [He has a feeling he knows what he'd say if he asked why he stopped, so he doesn't.] Sorry for bothering you, then.

I don't know. [He only realizes how strange that sounds afterward, so he adds—] I guess I was thinking of going to the store.

Yeah. I haven't been here long, but it's not usually like this.

Indeed it isn't. Well, it can be, but that tends to signal an experiment.

Or you could keep an eye on the journals. When things go wrong, people tend to be rather quick to complain.

Maybe, maybe not. I've yet to see what all the fuss is about, after all. Who knows? A secret society might be holding its meetings right out in the open under all of our noses! [ More giggles. ]

It's certainly not what I was used to before I came here. Interesting is simply a better way of looking at it.
