The Mob of Badass Adorable
Who: Mob members and anyone else who wants to get involved - with a confrontation, investigating some shady business connected with their premise, and the people who are going to rescue a kidnapped Ion.
What: The secret underground mob of awesome and all related business.
When: All-event! There will be marked threads for different things.
Where: HQ is near the western part of town; don't let that restrict you.
Summary: Evil Beastmaster Luke has slowly built a force of other disillusioned people with the goal of turning the animals (/or monsters) of the forest against the village. To take it down.
But in the daylight they're basically a post office.
Rating: PG-13ish? Most of the mob are children!
On the border between most of the village and its seedier, darker sections, a small guild has set up shop, of a sort. It doesn't matter that most of the workers are children - it helps, actually, because children are full of energy and can move easily even in a crowd! Besides, they're overseen by a rather gentlemanly supervisor, though he always - correctly - claims to not be the man in charge. The sign out front reads:
Parcel and Letter Deliveries
and this is where you should go for all of your package needs. There may even be an NPC or two in the waiting area.
Because they have to have a clean and wholesome outer image, you see. This allows them access to practically the entire town without seeming suspicious, a way to map and scout and take notes of what positions would be best for a decisive strike. They've already struck twice, in fact - once at a Beasts-For-Sale shop, in the dead of night, and once more at the home of a collector of oddities.
That last one involved some real creativity and the boss of this little charade is endlessly proud of his underlings for pulling it off.
Not that you'll be able to find the boss. If asked, any and all of the "guild" members mention his kindness and generosity and his dedication to making a better life for the people of the town. You would never connect this benevolent employer and his mailman children to the incidents. He treats his employees like family!
That is, until they go for their biggest one. It requires some finesse and the proper hostage, but they can and will pull it off. After all...who knows enough to stop them?
[[ooc: You are more than welcome to be someone who's been investigating some shady things in connection with this "guild," or to come requesting parcel services, OR to become one of the storefront NPCs and hand out quests, or to run into one of the mob members (in the day while making deliveries or at night while...being shady) and have a chat. They've been a fixture in the town for a while now.]]

April 30th, Evening
[With his Original going home and dealing with Arietta in the aftermath, Ion hasn't been in the best of moods lately. There was even an experiment of some kind going on, but it didn't seem to be anything too bad. He wasn't even sure if he was affected or not, really.]
[But none of that mattered, because tomorrow was his birthday. He'd forgotten in the past few weeks that it was coming up so soon, and as a result, hadn't really arranged any plans... but that was okay. He'd never celebrated his birthday at all before now, so even something as simple as having a nice dinner with his friends would be enough for him.]
[But, since running around doing errands isn't how he wants to spend his day tomorrow, he'll just have to get everything done today! Picking up a few things they need at the shop, groceries for dinner tomorrow that he volunteered to get, spending some time at the library... it's not until rather late at night that he starts walking back home, the sun having already set. Right now, the idea of something going wrong is the furthest thing from his mind!]

Ah, excuse me, but is everything all right?

We won't find anything if you lead! How many times do I have to guide you in the right direction?! How can one man really be so impaired?!
no subject
Do... either of you need help finding something?
/not here kinda
[Back to being a silent observer in the shadows.]

But don't worry, Perona. He hasn't forgotten about you.] Don't blame this on me! Your directions don't make sense!

Says the one who took the wrong way going straight! [How does that even HAPPEN.] There's nothing wrong with my directions, you're just impaired! Why did I get stuck with you, anyway?! I wanted someone to highlight my cuteness and strength! We're going to screw up because of you, and I'll be stuck with you forever! I can't take something so horrible!
[Sniff. ;~;]

[Okay, well, maybe this isn't something he should get too involved with. They seem to be having some kind of
lover'squarrel, and they don't exactly seem to want his help either...][So he's just going to quietly back away and turn to leave. He needed to get home before Nephry started worrying about him being out so late, after all!]
