Oh hello Luceti
Who: Ingo and Emmet
What: Emmet's arrival
When: Sep. 5th, 5pm
Where: Edge of the village
Summary: Of course Ingo is the first person to find his twin brother!
Rating: G/PG? Harmless
[Emmet was a bit startled to wake up dressed only in white pants! It had taken him quite some time to locate his clothes, finding his normal clothes folded neatly on a rock, with his hat and jacket hung on a tree branch. Removing the cotton pants, he started to dress himself in his proper clothing, though his new wing attachments were a bit too sore for the heavy jacket. Still, he put his hat on, carrying his jacket over his arm.
He starts to explore Luceti, noticing that there was a fair number of people that looked just as lost as he did. Still, he didn't panic! There was no point in panicking. He'd just ask where the train station was and ride on out.]

He was returning from the village with Chandelure in tow, thinking about the incident of the past week. He didn't look up from his shoes, however, until Chandelure emitted a screech and raced past him towards Emmet, chattering unintelligible ghostlike utterances the entire way.
Wait. The hat. His coat-- That's-- no-- but it's--...]
no subject
Chandelure! You and Ingo are here, too? Where is he, girl?
no subject
Screw it, Chandelure had the right idea. Ingo's running for Emmet, heedless of dignity or grace or even the fact that his voice came out strangled when he tried to yell Emmet's name.]
no subject
Ingo! Hey, calm down, it's okay!
no subject
After a few moments Ingo pulls away from him just enough to place his hands on Emmet's face, to make sure he's really, really there (he is) before he wraps his arms around Emmet again.
(It is absolutely not okay! Do you know how long it's been?!)]
no subject
Did something happen? Everything's okay! We'll find our way out, don't be so upset.
no subject
I haven't-- [A pause, as he fights to control his speech. (He'll hold Emmet's hands, next.)] --I haven't seen you. You weren't... I've been... . . .
...I arrived at this station months ago. Eight months. [He counted.]
no subject
I saw you just last night, Ingo.
[He's uncharacteristically quiet, as he mulls this over.]
...Was I comatose, somehow? But I woke up in a forest.
no subject
One could be here for years [Like Silver, or Gold--] and then return to the same point in the line they arrived from.
no subject
For years, someone could be trapped here, and not a minute passes by in the "real" world. And that means that while Emmet was just fine, and had Ingo with him not 24 hours before, Ingo was not. Ingo had been here, all by himself, for eight months. The better part of a year, all alone.]
... I'm sorry.
[Even if he had no ability to affect that situation, even if he had no say, he was incredibly regretful that Ingo was left behind.]
I'm here now. So we can wait to board for our destination together. I'm sorry I made you wait, Ingo.
no subject
...If only being so optimistic was one of Ingo's stronger points.]
...You shouldn't have to be here. It's dangerous. [Too dangerous to ensure that he can protect Emmet from it. Really, Ingo feels selfish for being upset that he was alone.] ...But it could be worse. There's another closed-off station you could have ended up at instead-- we could have been trapped and separated... [So that's-- that's a bright side. But his depot agent-- "Boss Ingo, I want to stay here with you. I won't go back there."]
... ... [He grips Emmet's hands tightly, so tightly.]
no subject
But I didn't! I'm behind schedule, but of course I'd be here with you, Ingo. My train was just delayed - it would have always been the same destination!
[Even if that's not necessarily true, Emmet sure seems to believe in that.]
And everything's dangerous. So you follow the rules! Safety first.
no subject
...Right. [Of course. He just got here, too-- so maybe he's safe from too much, for a time. Worry about that later.]
I... [His expression becomes less stricken; slowly but surely, he's on the path to recovery (and a possible smile).] I'm glad we're a two-car train again.
no subject
[Emmet grins, like there's no trouble in the world. And as far as Emmet's concerned, as long as Ingo's with him, he's invincible anyway.]
C'mon! Show me around, this place is cool!
no subject
[Emmet has to hold his hand, though. He'll get less clingy by degrees the more time goes on, but for now.... none of that. Physical contact makes for great reassurance of your existence!]
no subject
Oh, did you find a place to live? At least this place looks like it's got space.
no subject
Mm. An apartment. [With Emmet around it'll be way happier... oh, and they'll have to get another chair so that Emmet AND Silver can sit down. uh while you were gone ingo kind of acquired a not-son sorry(??) emmet] We share a kitchen with one of the Striaton leaders-- Cilan.
no subject
Cilan! I haven't really met him. He's the tea guy?
no subject
That's correct. [...Oh, yeah--] However, he knows us better than we do him. Ah... something about parallel tracks... [different universes.... poor Cilan.]
He also knows a good deal about subways. I enjoy his company.
no subject
...Ingo! Did you make friends here, all by yourself?
[It HAS been eight months, Emmet, and Ingo is a big boy geez!]
no subject
[it took him like two months but dgfs BE PROUD OF HIM EMMET]
no subject
no subject
Yes. ... [A-ahahah still embarrassing.] You'll meet them shortly, I'm sure. Most of them live near our [not just "his" anymore!] apartment.
no subject
[Grin, grin! Emmet is shameless as usual, but though he's enthused, he's at least not shouting at the top of his lungs.]
We'll get there!
no subject
This is close to the midst of the village-- most shopping and such goes on here, naturally. ...Ah, do you have your Pokemon with you, perchance? [They could swing by the item shop and see if his pokeballs are there...]
no subject
[Emmet held onto Ingo's hand, smiling despite the realization of oh no, my Pokémon could be trapped here, too!]

[He'll definitely keep an eye out!]
So, what are the wings about? They're cute! But really sore.
no subject
Ah... as to that, they seem to be a constant for inhabitants of this world. [Ingo turns his head a little to frown at the ones attached to his own back. At least they match Emmet's in color...] The soreness should improve with time. I'll fix your coat to accommodate them soon.
However, be very careful with them. [His voice dips back into Super Serious Slightly Upset mode.] Damage to your wings will cause severe harm to your wellbeing.
no subject
[Then Emmet peers at Ingo's with much more curiosity...]
What sort of damage?
no subject
Pulling out feathers, for one. And any other sort of damage, I'd imagine. [Not that it gives them a sudden weakness to electric-type moves, but.... don't get attacked, okay?]
no subject
Say, can you control how they move? Are they soft? Does it feel weird if they're pet?
no subject
Emmet's making Ingo nervous in his overly-fussy way, doing that... but they're his own wings, and surely he won't pull on them...]
I can't say I've petted them before, so I wouldn't know. [He can demonstrate moving them, though. Flappity flap!!]
no subject
That's amazing!
[Wait, wait - oh man he made his flap around erratically, too!]
no subject
But Emmet's face...]
Being able to manipulate them makes it easier to get used to them, to be sure. ...Just don't attempt to achieve flight. [Naturally.]
