Nightmare Night, What a Fright...

Summary: Princess Luna and her minions friends put together a Nightmare Night festival for any and all villagers to enjoy. (Just remember to leave an offering of candy...unless you want the evil spirit to come gobble you whole!)
Rating: F for Fun!

Despite a fanciful (if raucous) few nights of ghostly partying, Luna is never one to be outdone. Thus, as proclaimed, when the night of the 31st rolls around, decorations have been switched from warm harvest hues to eerie purples and greens and blues. Here and there are other signs that this isn't entirely your standard Halloween party. Amongst the pumpkins, bats and other creepy-crawlies, stars are prominent, as well as what might be unicorn heads peeking out of crescent moons, and a liberal collection of large, slitted eyes plastered onto any allowable surface. Around the central portion of the village, leftover debris has been pushed off to the edges of the pathway to make room for a lantern-lit row of games and vendors. As well as a hoof-painted sign "HAUNTED TRAIL. LINE BEGINS HERE" and a second tacked on below it "BEWARE NIGHT MARE MOON".

So come forth, old ones and young ones alike. It's time to join together in fun!

[She told Minato to meet her at this - not on stage, but hopefully to dance when someone else is playing near it. She expected this to be more of a ball, actually... Either way, it's counting down to midnight by now. Almost the end of October and therefore their trial period.]

They're not that skinny. [But he doesn't push Haruhi off, because if she's going to be that way she can feel for herself that he has muscle! It's just wiry muscle... He has a runner's physique, okay.]

I bet I could beat you in an arm wrestle. [In face, she smirks at this, squeezing his arm a little tighter. Okay so there are muscles, but]

[Like with her powers, for instance... but he's not saying that. He still hasn't brought himself to bring it up.]

Cheat?! [And she jabs him in the chest with the finger-strength of a hone badger] I don't cheat!

Alright... sure. [...] I think I'd prefer a ghost party, but I guess this is fitting enough for the end of the month.

And down the path. Don't expect him to look surprised or scared by anything, though... the only way to get that reaction is to catch him completely off guard. This won't.]

[She is waiting for it, honestly. She's not surprised herself (really ponies, really?) but she keeps willing, waiting for him to be. Despite holding his hand as they go and sparing glances up at his face, she keeps getting progressively more sour looking, waiting for something to change in his expression]
