Who: Everybody. And I do mean everybody.
What: That fourth wall? Done shattered.

Where: All over the enclosure.
Summary: There's all these weirdos without wings showing up. Confusion and hilarity ensue.

[...Well that is definitely not like any Pokemon we've seen before. Cilan never met Moro during her stay here, so he wouldn't know anything about what she's like or how dangerous she could be. Still, it's something of curiosity (and concern, considering how scarred and ragged it looks) as he carefully approaches a little closer to get a better look at it...]

[Moro pauses, noticing this human approaching her. She knew the scent, having roamed the village at night to collect scents of most Lucetians, but she hadn't met him. It doesn't matter much, after all. She turns her gaze upon him, growling lowly.]

[Eep--he stops walking closer (but to his credit not backing away ~~and running and screaming~~ yet) as he holds his hands up a little defensively.]

Ah, don't worry, I mean no harm! [Whether he knows the wolf can talk or not, he's going to assume that she can understand what he's saying, given his usual experience with Pokemon and the other sentient animals here.] I was just curious since I don't recall seeing you here before, not to mention that you appear to have quite a different taste in regards to the Pokemon we have back in our own world...

[It's her turn to approach him! If she was a Pokémon, her ability would probably be Pressure or Intimidate...]

[Y-yeah, it probably would be. Despite Cilan's smile and ability to remain calm at the moment, on the inside he's sweating bullets. A god, though? That's an interesting title to refer to oneself as.]

I see...I had a feeling that was the case. [oh god please don't hurt us]

And yet you approached me. Why?

[Well that, he can answer immediately.]

Curiosity, as well as concern--not to sound rude or to necessarily pry, but your appearance has a rather disconcerting taste... [Indicating the scars and patches of fur and just general state of how haggard and awful you look, which is especially more obvious to see with how close he's standing to Moro now.] While it's true that these wounds are older injuries rather than something that just recently happened within the last day or what not, you still appear to be a bit disheveled in terms of how you look, so I was concerned whether you were in good health or not...

[So um, are you okay? Not in pain or sick or...]

I've been brought back from death for a third time, and it's no less revolting.

[...Oh.]

...I see. I'm sorry to hear that you had to experience such a dreadful taste, and three times no less.

It is not the death. Such is normal... but how dare the Malnosso bring me back from the dead.

Is being dead preferable to being here in Luceti? [A slight pause, before he reconsiders and changes gears because wow that's an extremely pessimistic taste to have.] Or I suppose it's a matter of pride and disdain in people like the Malnosso disturbing one's peace in the afterlife?

Trust a human to not even remotely understand.

How dare humans wield that power, how dare they toy with life and death.

[eep but um we're going to try to understand...?]

W--well, that's sort of what I meant, though I can't say I was entirely aware of whether or not the Malnosso were in fact human or possibly different in some way...either way it isn't very appropriate for them to have that much control over matters like that... [Earlier we meant, you know, people/humans like the Malnosso and how not only this place bringing people here against their will but having control over their deaths too but um yes, either way that is understandable to be unhappy with something like that...]

I do not fear death, as you humans do. It is important. And how it is given and taken... that is the will of the Forest Spirit, and nothing else. That is His domain, and how dare the Malnosso bring me back to life after the Forest Spirit decided my fate.

The Forest Spirit? [Can't say we've ever heard of that before...]

The god of Life and Death. Perhaps you know him as he roams in the night, as the Nightwalker.

Hm...I can't say that I've heard of that title before either, but he certainly sounds like a fascinating god of intrigue. [Though as a subject of debate, the closest we've got to "gods of life and death" in our world is...Arceus and/or Mew, maybe, among other legendary Pokemon...]

He is simply the Forest Spirit. It would be unwise to interfere with his workings, lest he decide that your life would serve better in something else.

I see...and what about you? What kind of god are you?

[If the Forest Spirit is the god of Life and Death, are you a particular type of god over something too or are you just a god in general?]

I am a guardian. I slaughter those who destroy the forest.

[...W-well, we certainly don't envy any of the humans you've had to deal with in your world, then. Destroying a forest is bad, but killing people is kind of...extreme... ]

...I'm surprised anyone would even think to do that, with such a threat looming overhead. They'd have to be quite resistant to the taste of danger presented to them from committing an act like that.

They wish for the forest and they wish the gods gone! I would not let them have it, for it is not their forest to cut down. They scoff at my might, and they created guns to kill us. Yet many humans were still crushed under my paws, as I tore them apart with my jaws.

[The fury of nature is scary, yo.]

[...Wow okay, if your goal was to scare the hell out of us, it's kind of working, even if we're mostly sure that scary wolf god isn't going to tear our own throat out or something yet. There's a somewhat awkward pause before Cilan responds.]

I agree. A world without humans would be a splendid world.

Th-that's not what I meant, exactly--I meant that it would be a more sweeter taste if the humans of your world were able to see eye-to-eye with you and being able to co-exist with them peacefully, rather than cutting down the forest or attacking one another...
