Summary: Between the last Shift and the heart shard mess, the Titans decide that a break is in order. (If anyone asks, it's a team-building exercise.)
Rating: PG! Probably.

Summer's almost over and some people haven't been to the beach even once yet! It's practically a crime. But fortunately, it's not too late to fix that, and after relatively recent events, now definitely wasn't a bad time for the Titans to take a trip to the beach. Most of them could use the break, some are just looking for a chance to have fun, and others... might just need a little sunlight. Just maybe.

Either way, today's a great day to spend at the beach. The sun shines bright, and sure, there's not much of a breeze, but the water is nice and cool—absolutely perfect for swimming. Hopefully, everyone brought swimsuits and towels because no one's leaving here without going in the water. Oh, and don't forget sunscreen. Definitely don't forget sunscreen. Have some snacks, play some games, bury each other in the sand— whatever it is you decide to do, though, just make sure you have fun!

Yeah, I know. [It kind of took various awful experiences and experiments to get it, which is lame, but he understands.] You're just watching out for everyone. Even if you never act like it.

I think they make plenty of sense, but I'll take that as a compliment. Could be the whole "bird" thing we have in common, you know? But that's just a guess.

You know what it takes to make a team work. It shouldn't be exclusive to how we work at home.

[His secret's safe with him! At least until he decides it isn't. Also, Jason really only brought that up because it was nicer than saying that Dick sucks with girls. But he'll roll with it.]

Actually, my experience with teamwork is pretty limited. [Not bitter at all, not... at all...] But maybe we can fix that next time around. Can't promise the girls will be expecting fewer dates, though.
