Who: Pepper Potts, Tony Stark, and everyone who has gathered there today.
What: A wedding and reception

Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married ~~finally~~ ~~officially~~ finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

[She'd intended to stop back and check on Jack again a little later during the reception, but when she turns up at the table with a spare glass of champagne, it's not Jack seated behind the laptop, but another unfamiliar face.

Who she blinks at in surprise a moment before giving an apologetic smile.]

Oops. I'd come to make sure Jack had enough alcohol to keep him occupied, but he's conned someone else into being him for a while, has he?

[It's a pretty neat set-up really, even if it's not like a proper deck and he's having quite a bit of fun actually. Jack and he had worked out some set lists, a fairly eclectic mix so it's not exactly stressful either.

He smiles when a red-haired woman approaches, giving a slightly awkward smile and nodding.]

Hey! I am one-hundred percent original and not a clone of Jack Holden. And no conning required. Radio is kind of what I do.

You too, hmm? Friend of Jack and Eugene's, I take it?

[She doesn't recognize him, so he must be relatively new. Then again, things have been rather hectic of late with the Shifts and the missions and the mallynaps, so she knew she was missing some arrivals somewhere. She hands him the glass of champagne she'd brought for Jack, figuring he could benefit from it just as well.]

Yeah! You know them? [He takes the glass gratefully, sipping at it and hoping the alcohol doesn't go straight to his head.]

We're from the same world. I'm a radio operator back at home.

I do. [She smiles at that, perching on the edge of his table.] Eugene works with me, actually. At the coffee shop. I'm Natasha.

Oh! I've been there sometimes. It's really nice.

I'm Sam. Nice to meet you.

Thank you, I'm glad you've enjoyed it. [She still feels a little rush of pleased warmth whenever someone says something like that. Unexpected pride in a project she'd never intended to follow through on in the first place and now look at her.]

Sam, is it? He's talked about you quite a bit. How are you settling in in Luceti?

He has? Oh, I'm settling in pretty well. It's nice and relaxing here. makes a change.

I'm glad you're finding it that way. [She was. Some people just didn't adjust well to this place. Or couldn't let go of what they'd left behind.]

And yes, he has. Although he doesn't talk much about home.

I know most people don't but... [He gives a little shrug. Most people don't come from the zombie apocalypse.]

Bad memories. I'm sure everyone has some.

I'm sure they do. And if they say they don't, they're probably lying. [Her lips quirk faintly at that as she studies him curiously a moment.] So Jack's abandoned you back here while he's out luring Eugene onto the dance floor, has he?

I wouldn't say abandoned. We kind of agreed to split DJ duties. Not fair if he gets stuck back here for the whole night and he does kind of deserve to get the chance to dance with Eugene. Now that he actually can.

So who are you here dancing with? [She teased him lightly because she could and she was curious and that he was thoughtful of Jack and Eugene like that gave him points in her book.]

Uh... [He kind of looked a little like a deer in headlights at that and then shrugged.]

No-one really. I mean, there's my housemate but he- uh... she... it's complicated.

[Natasha arches an eyebrow at that, lips twitching faintly in amusement.] Apparently. [Although she had seen that one thing in the journals this morning...] The Malnosso up to tricks again, I take it?

Yeah. Seriously. It's weird. He's normally very... very male.
