House of M - The End
Who: Teddy Altman + Billy Kaplan + Anyone involved in the House of M plot + Related CR + Anyone really
What: Confusion! Fights! Shattered realities! Everything is horrible, oh god someone help!
When: October 8th
Where: Anywhere, though fighting shall take place around Community Housing 5
Summary: Teddy returns from his kidnapping, revealing that he wasn't dead after all. He's a little worse for wear, but when he realizes what's going on, he realizes that he needs to stop it.
Rating: Varies, at least T for fighting and feelings
On one side of the village, Billy and Teddy are part of a perfect reality where nothing goes wrong, nothing is bad and nothing is stressful.
On the other side of the village, Teddy stumbles through the constructs of magic gone horribly wrong. For those under its influence, it may be strange to see him without Billy at his side. For others, the most noticeable thing would be the wings at his back: broken at the radius and ulna, the feathers only half grown back just behind the break. It's the reason why he looks dazed half the time, why it might be hard to focus on anything.
But if there's one thing Teddy can tell, it's that all of this is far from a perfect reality. It's cracked at the edges; it's a paradise that offers no real chance at life and the equal joy and sorrow that come from it. It's an utter and complete disaster just waiting to happen.
And Teddy's determined to stop it.
Reality, as some may know it, is coming to an end.

[The next morning]
Still. She's not entirely sure of her welcome all the same. She's brought breakfast, bundled up in a brown paper bag, and a thermos of coffee from the cafe. Not much, but she's not sure the jokes about hospital food exactly apply here.
Billy's room isn't labeled, which clearly announces it as Billy's in her mind. She taps her nails against the door for a moment before peeking inside, taking in the sight of the boys within. Billy's still out, from the looks of it, and Teddy's certainly seen better days as well.]
Teddy?
[The next morning]
In fact, the sound of the nails against the door jerks him out of sleep, and before Natasha walks in, Teddy's pushed his bed away from Billy's, and he'd only started to move to the door when it opens for him. Despite the fact that Natasha was under the spell, he still feels relieved to see her - unlike how he felt when others of the same type had walked in.
He lets out a small sigh and goes to the chair instead, his gait slow, yet there's no limp to be seen, and his wings look longer than they did yesterday.]
Hey, Natasha. [Teddy lowers himself into the chair - though not without sitting on a book he left there, frowning, and shuffling a bit to put it on the nightstand instead.] Did you come to check on us?
Re: [The next morning]
[Her gaze takes him in, making note of the bandages, the healing he's done since she saw him last, assessing his state of being with an intent once-over, before letting her eyes flit to the boy still unconscious in the bed.]
Has he woken at all?
[The next morning]
With her next question, Teddy follows her gaze to Billy, where he still sleeps, still in the same position that they'd left him. He lets out a sigh, stabbing at the food with his silverware.]
No. He had a few nightmares... but other than that, he's been like this ever since yesterday.
