Summary: It's the first week of class for all you wonderful students, both new and old! Enjoy catching up with friends, trying to find your classes, engaging in all aspects of college life, and... let's not forget about the upcoming game.
Rating: PG-13 at best, guys. I know this is supposed to be college but if you're going to engage in the more... racy aspects of college life, take it off-comm!

[She stands aside to let him in.]

[He enters without another word, seeking out the chair before Grune's desk to make himself comfortable. There's an idle wondering whether she'll close the door or not, but he can't tell her what to do either way. It isn't his office.]

[Grune heads on in behind him and...doesn't close the door. Her every movement proclaims her delight at having made a big step forward in befriending Simon at long last.]

What kind of tea would you like to drink? Oh, and I still have cookies left. Would you like some?

[And meanwhile, Simon can't help but hold idle wonder at the fact that Grune seems so enthusiastic. The way he sees it, it's safe to assume that she either gets excited very easily, or something else happened today to put her in such a good mood.]

No, thank you. As for the tea, I will take whichever blend you prefer.

Hmm.... What about peppermint?

[It's so refreshing!]

That's fine. [As a matter of fact, he rather likes it. It's neutral and discreet, unlike fruit teas.]

Oh, is it your favourite?

[She'll have to serve it to him every time he comes for a visit!

(Yes, Simon, she's already convinced there will be repeat visits. Many, many repeat visits.)]

[The question takes him aback. Is she serious?]

That's an awfully hasty assumption to jump to, wouldn't you say? What was it about my words that would scream the indication of 'favourite'?

[Her head tilts to one side.]

I don't know.... Which kind is your favourite?

... Green. Green tea. [He doubts Grune would have that sort of thing, though. It's not commonly found in your average pantry. Especially not the kind that's been prepared properly.]

However, as I said, peppermint will do.

[The kettle now plugged in, she turns to her desk and writes something on a post-it note. She then straightens, smiling.]

[What. What is she writing? Simon's eyes narrow and he cranes his head ever-so-slightly in an attempt to make sense of the scribble, but it's no good.

... Just ignore it.]

I take it the start of the new year has already provided you with much work to be done.

Oh, yes. [She smiles as she sits down nearby--but not too nearby.] I've had lots of students drop by to say hello already. It's been so nice to see everyone after the summer.
