Summary: Reason number one for why you shouldn't hang up on a Slayer? She'll come find you.

Buffy had been knocking on the door to Jack's apartment for about five minutes. For many other people, she would have given up long before now; however, she was fast learning that Captain Jack Sparrow wasn't like other people. He was quite possibly rather deranged and probably in need of some serious psychiatric help. But he also did not seem to be home. After calling his name a few times, Buffy left the building.
More likely, she supposed, he would be out and about. So as she took her patrol around the village, Buffy kept an eye out for the tell-tale signs of any madcap pirates getting down to no good. Her arms were crossed loosely over her chest and, to the casual observer, she was quite unarmed.
It wasn't until the barracks that her search proved to be at all fruitful. Hearing the sounds of an axe out back, she walked around the perimeter. "Sparrow?" She asked into the darkening evening. "That you?"
