SPECIAL NOTE!! - Since this didn't come up before (but should have, my bad), there are actually a minimum of 400 Third Party soldiers in each area as opposed to in total. This means there are 1200 of them over all.

[ And here is McCoy, who was expecting to have his atoms scattered to somewhere else in this world after stepping on the platform, but now he looks quite satisfied that he was not subjected to a pattern buffer or the Malnosso alternative to those damn machines. Time to regain some colour in his cheeks and actually find his room. ]

[ Actually having time to get things ready before fighting is both a blessing and a curse, something he's learned before.

The blessing is that Usopp has time to get the freaking out out of his system now. Excuse him while he uses the hallway for pacing. ]

[ A reticent Usopp pacing the hallway shouldn't really surprise him. He's heard enough of the draftees express their worries since the announcement, so he catches the pirate the next time he passes him. ]

How are you doing, kid?

[ He stops and offers up a frazzled smile. ]

I'm fine. You know, just walking. Thinking. [ They will be by a river and his crewmates can't swim, what if something happens to reduce visibility, will he have enough ammo, etc. ] What about you?

Trying to find my damn room. [ Big priorities. He has them. ]

You would be in the Ms, wouldn't you? For McCoy? [ He's seen plenty of doors today. Takes a few steps in one direction and cranes his neck to look for the right letter. ] Ah, that's the wrong way.

[ And turning back. ]

[ He smiles at her. ]

Yeah.. sort of reminds me of back home.

[ ... If he went to a museum, anyway. ] Never seen anything like this before?

Not with this many doors and no windows... The palace had a lot of rooms, but this is different.

[Later, when Bones does find his room, Buffy comes a-calling. She hadn't seen the Doctor since they had set out together for the tunnels in the early morning. She has found her room and she is settled, but she is now wondering how he's doing.

Knock, knock, knock.

[ After all the hassle it took to get him onto the damn platform that teleported him to these facilities, McCoy actually relaxed fairly quickly in the presence of the white hall ways.

It wasn't an exact replica of the hallways of the Enterprise, but it was close enough in design to let him slip into his old ways. And at the moment, he was checking on the phaser he requested in his room, flexing his arm with it in one hand, before he heard the knocking. ]

Come in, Summers. [ Because who else would knock like that? Good God, he had been living with her for far too long. ]

What? Did you put x-ray vision on your wish list?

[She opens the door, poking her head in.]

[Three steps in. She doesn't even wait to be invited. She ain't no vampire, yo.]

[Might as well check in with the big guy. Just to make sure everything's going smoothly for the doc. Maybe even talk medicine before the big outing. Raine'll come knocking on his door once he's settled in.]

[ McCoy has never been so popular. Once Buffy leaves his room, he begins fiddling around with his hypospray in one of the chairs and looks up when he hears the door again. Leaving the medical device on the table, he lets the newest visitor into his room. ]

Ah... Professor.

[She gives him a nod as he opens the door.] Hello, Doctor McCoy. How are your preparations going?

As well as can be expected; it's just a matter of waiting now.

[ He indicates with his head. ] Feel free to come in.

Indeed. It likely won't be too much longer now, once everyone's had time to settle. [She steps inside, and does a casual glance to see if he made any additions to his room.] Thank you.

[Look who it is, McCoy... your favorite red-eyed nuisance! And he's looking quite happy to be out.]

I was beginning to think he'd never shut up.

Oh, for the love of... [ He smacks his hand on his forehead as he comes out of his room to avoid pime taradoxes and sighs. ] ... What are you doing here?

[He'll just lean against the wall, arms crossed over his chest with a smirk.]

What do you think? I got drafted, just like you. You couldn't hear him screaming like a girl when they brought him in?
