Arriving at the Facility
Who: All Draftees!
What: Arriving at the dorms
When: As of this morning
Where: The dorm facilities outside the enclosure
Summary: General shenanigans for people inside the dorms.
Rating: PG-13, probably.
[After traveling through the tunnels, draftees will arrive in the hotel-like dorm facilities. For information on what to expect, please read here! This is open comment log for anyone, so threadjack away! But remember, you can only enter someone's room if they let you.
If you haven't already, check out this post and get your character assigned to a team!]
- Since this didn't come up before (but should have, my bad), there are actually a minimum of 400 Third Party soldiers in each area as opposed to in total. This means there are 1200 of them over all.

...And searching together with someone should be more fun than looking around on her own and being unnerved by the surroundings, anyway.]

Hopefully they'll let me inspect the aircraft I requested before I fly them into battle. It would really be dangerous if I had to conduct a full pre-flight check on the tarmac in the middle of a warzone.

[He pauses, then looks over to a door. It's marked "David Jordan." He'll move over to it and open it.]
Ah, here's mine. You're more than welcome to come in, if you'd like.

...Though she's admittedly curious about that aircraft he mentioned right now. She's never actually seen anything like one before, after all.]

Then there's a door toward the back which catches his eye, unsure what it is. He'll start heading towards it.]
Can't say much for the decor. Hospital white doesn't do anything for me.

...The Boundary. [While that's said quietly - she's mostly just muttering to herself - Thirteen should easily be able to hear it if he's paying attention.
...Though really, if anything, it's more like the Imaginary Space.]
no subject
A boundary? Something from your world?
[And with that he opens the door on the far side of the room. ...On the opposite side of the door is a massive hangar, not adorned in the pure white of the room or the hallway. And in it stood two massive machines... his SU-37 (http://gallery.top-aviation.net/albums/userpics/10009/AC4_SU37.jpg), done up in full Yellow Squadron colors, and a F-15E Strike Eagle (http://www.aereo.jor.br/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/f-15e-strike-eagle-2.jpg) in matching paint scheme. The only difference between them and the planes from his world was that the red circle and star Erusean crest was missing. Instead, it was replaced with an insignia of a white feathered Filial wing.]
...They're... really here.
no subject
...Affirmative. [Though she'd rather not explain what it is. The Boundary's a confusing place, to say the least.
She'll be following him to the door to the hangar, but once he opens it, she simply stops and stares at the machines. Even though she's not actually saying anything, it's rather obvious that she's fascinated by the planes.
...The look of curiosity on her face is almost a little reminiscent of that of a child.]
no subject
He looked back over to Nu, who seemed similarly awed.]
Come on over and get a closer look if you like.
no subject
...It's certainly an impressive-looking machine. Not like anything ν-13's seen before, at least.]
no subject
...They really kept their end of the bargain. Come on up here, if you'd like, Nu. You can get a better view of everything from here.
no subject
...She won't actually land, though, instead hovering just barely high enough to not touch the plane. She's still being a bit... cautious about it, as impressive-looking as it may be.]
no subject
Boy, would they be in for a surprise, wouldn't you say?
no subject
Faster than... the speed of sound...? [As flat as her voice may be, there's the slightest hint of what almost sounds a little like disbelief audible in it regardless. It's not too noticeable, but it's there.]
no subject
[The thought brings a proud smile to his face. Oh yeah. He's flown that fast.]
no subject
And... you intend to use this machine... during the battle?
no subject
It may not be able to destroy a tank, but it'll destroy most vehicles and soft targets. Tanks are what the heavier ordinance is for anyway. Not that we'll have to deal with those anyway.
