Summary: Mass-interaction for those out on the battlefield. Feel free to make team threads along with individual ones or however you wish. Action tags are fine here along with prose. For those plotting mischief, this is the place to do it.
Rating: R for the likely violence since killing will most definitely happen, but this is more for interactions during the battles.

[And early on the 26th everyone gets sent out. Thanks to Caesar's organization, most everyone has been placed in groups, even if some people plan on leaving their groups at some point. Check out this post for the details. If you haven't posted to this post and want your character on a team, please do so.]

Special note: Ignore the comments that said there would be 400, that has been retconned and we were told 1200 Third Party members from the start. Enjoy killing them off and taking names.

Special note 2: I asked Akai if any of the Third Party will be coming and dealing with their incapacitated allies, and they will. So assume that unless something is done to prevent this, those injured Third Party members may come back later healed and ready to attack again (though possibly not as effectively).

[A black-suited ninja perches in a black tree, looking down at a white building.]

[He touches a button on his headset.]

A-Leader... I found a building. Looks deserted.

[He makes his way around to the far side. Yep. Definitely no signs of life here.]

What's your status?

[Without ears, Brook can't really wear his headset, so he opts just to use the phone itself after Usopp explains how it works to him.]

A leader...? [Ponder, ponder.] There's no one around but myself- Oh! You mean me then. [He's not used to going by titles.] Just 'Brook' should suffice, Donatello-san!

We've just defeated a group of Third Party members. Everyone that is here with me doesn't look any worse for wear, aside from a few scrapes that Chopper-san is seeing to. We should be moving on shortly.

Have you found anything of interest at the building?

Sorry. Battle habits.

[He moves closer to the building, to peer through some windows.] A lot of equipment here. Couldn't say whether any of it still works...

Building is three miles northeast of our drop-off point. Steep terrain, not a lot of cover. I've been seeing random patrols of these Filials. Move carefully.

[He touches another button on his headset, to switch channels.] Raph, I gave Brook my location. Follow the team.

Yeah, yeah. I hear ya, Braniac. [And he actually is following like a good little soldier, however grudgingly. The first round went well despite a few hitches in the beginning that were mostly his fault. But otherwise he can't complain.] We're comin'.

[He soon comes across Don, walking up behind him. Might as well catch up with Team A's scout.]

No signs of anyone here yet. You find anything?

[Damn, he's out of practice. By the time he gets his bo out, the other ninja is just standing there casually, waiting for an answer to his question.]

[He leans his weapon against his shoulder and kicks himself for getting shown up so easily.]

Nothing of any great interest. What about you?

Nothing yet... and there's no signs anyone's been here in a while.

[Don holsters his bo and gestures to the building.] Want to go inside?

Let's have a look. [As he heads toward the building looking for an entry point, Shadow keeps alert, ready to draw a dagger or shuriken on any threats they should find. But his instincts still tell him they're probably in the clear for now.]

[Having finally arrived at the river, Sokka has been able to take up a defensive position. There's not a whole lot of time before the next wave is on them, so he takes a moment to go over his personal inventory. The exploding boomerangs had come in handy and fortunately he had plenty more. Not so much with the smoke bombs, which were in small supply. There was still hours left in the day. He had to make it last. Better to save them, for now.

Spotting incoming TPs, he readies himself for their aerial assault. It's times like this where something like a jetpack or Appa would really come in handy.]

[ It's around the time of that aerial assault that Usopp runs by, goggles in place. He's a combination of apprehension and frustration while he sets his sights on those incoming. It takes a lot of willpower not to resort to shrieking and taking off to find better cover; as a result, he may or may not be more behind Sokka than next to him. ]

Oi, Sokka- can you get the ones I don't hit? [ It's probably better to ask now, since he doesn't know what this guy can handle. ]

[Perched in the shadows atop a rocky crag, a shadow growls behind them.]

Don't worry about it, nose-boy. [Raphael propels himself from the low cliff, flipping and landing in a low crouch in front of them, adjusting the grip on his sai.] We gotcha covered.

[Then in a blink they're under attack, five filials spotting their position. The earth shifts and the air is electric as they head off their attack with an arsenal of dagger-shaped rocks. Raph gets ready to dodge.]

Prelude: Au Fer! [An attack designed to slash an opponent's weapon with the intention to disarm, it works almost instantaneously. Rocks aren't swords, but the technique gets the job done and the daggers shatter. Brook appears on the other side of them.]

Gentlemen. [He tips his hat before darting off to help the others. He'll leave you to them now.]

[Frickin' magic, he thinks as the daggers turned to dust in the air. But that doesn't mean he isn't grateful. Now Raph can dive head first into the fray as the winged men swoop down toward the group like hawks hunting sparrows, swords glinting in the harsh light.

Steel grinds against steel as Raph catches a sword in the tines of his sai. He grins in the enemy's face.]

Time to clip birdy's wings.

[A flick of the wrist is all it take to wrench the sword out of his hands, clattering on the ground. Weaponless, the enemy takes to the sky again.]

Third Day - Evening - Locked to Brook and Chopper

[It's been a relatively uneventful first two days, Brook knows. Even with all of the fighting they've done, they haven't had much combat considering how many Third Party members he was told to expect, and he's grateful for it. Nothing to worry about for now then. He can get some sleep.

Except he knows he probably won't. Too many strange dreams -no they were real- have been keeping him up. He's always had strange sleeping habits, so he's getting enough rest to function throughout the battles and keep a watch on everyone. Just not enough to have the energy for much else.

Brook munches on some peanuts, watching Chopper make his rounds patching up the others' scrapes for the day.]

[It doesn't take long; soon enough he's finished with everyone except Brook, whom he pads over to while pulling the stethoscope from his ears. There's a clipboard and pencil in his hooves, a pack half-spilling over with medical equipment on his back, and a half-hearted grin on his face. Talking to Brook is difficult when there's nothing to distract him otherwise.]

[Sigh. But amazingly he doesn't argue; he doesn't say much of anything really - not even a comment about how naked he feels without his jacket on (which he does).]

Individual - Katara - Day 3 - Team A

[Today has led them away from the river, and Katara has her eyes peeled towards the sky as they're walking through the forest towards their destination. No TPs sighted yet.]

[Good for them, really. The rest of the group had moved on ahead, leaving the two Water siblings with their allies a little far off. It gave me them one of those brief moments of actually being by themselves though.]

Even the trees are black and white. Weird.

Do you think the rest of this world is like this? [Even while she's talking, her eyes don't stop moving.]

[His own eyes remain on the skies too. Firebenders are so much more convenient, being stuck on the ground and all.]

I saw some of the recordings of the first battle... It wasn't like that there.
