Summary: Mass-interaction for those out on the battlefield. Feel free to make team threads along with individual ones or however you wish. Action tags are fine here along with prose. For those plotting mischief, this is the place to do it.
Rating: R for the likely violence since killing will most definitely happen, but this is more for interactions during the battles.

[And early on the 26th everyone gets sent out. Thanks to Caesar's organization, most everyone has been placed in groups, even if some people plan on leaving their groups at some point. Check out this post for the details. If you haven't posted to this post and want your character on a team, please do so.]

Special note: Ignore the comments that said there would be 400, that has been retconned and we were told 1200 Third Party members from the start. Enjoy killing them off and taking names.

Special note 2: I asked Akai if any of the Third Party will be coming and dealing with their incapacitated allies, and they will. So assume that unless something is done to prevent this, those injured Third Party members may come back later healed and ready to attack again (though possibly not as effectively).

Everyone dies in the end, Vash-san. [Whether they're killed or not, but he really doesn't want to get into that argument right now. War is a poor setting for comfort better suited for harsh facts, and it speaks for itself.] I'm sorry that it can't be different.

I know that! But they don't have to be slaughtered!

And what would your definition of slaughter be?

[Waves his hand across the battelfield.] This, isn't slaughter to you?

It's a war. They would easily do the same to us, which doesn't make them defenseless or innocent or ill-prepared to face their end.

Just because they weren't defenseless doesn't mean they had to die.

No, it doesn't. But it also doesn't mean that you should dwell on it for long when it does.

How... can I not? When so many have died?

You pay your respects. And from there you move forward.

[Vash is quiet, that's what he plans to do. He just needs time.]

[Glance. And then he folds his legs beneath him to sit on the ground.]

Sit with me.

[Hesitates a moment. That's an... odd request. Then glances around, but seeing as there is nothing that looks dangerous around he sits facing Brook. You watch his back he'll watch yours.]

[That's fine with him. He pulls out his violin.]

A memorial for the dead? [It's an offer. This has always been a good way for Brook to get past death, as well as other people. While it may not have the same effect here, he figures he'll try it.]

[His eyes widen a moment. It's not another lecture, a very small smile appears.] I think, that would be nice.

[Vash sits quietly, eye always scanning the horizon for danger. It's a pretty song, but a sad one. It's fitting as his eyes water and a few tears slip down.]

[Brook places the violin in his lap once the song has reached it's end. He hopes that helped, Vash.]
