Summary: Mass-interaction for those out on the battlefield. Feel free to make team threads along with individual ones or however you wish. Action tags are fine here along with prose. For those plotting mischief, this is the place to do it.
Rating: R for the likely violence since killing will most definitely happen, but this is more for interactions during the battles.

[And early on the 26th everyone gets sent out. Thanks to Caesar's organization, most everyone has been placed in groups, even if some people plan on leaving their groups at some point. Check out this post for the details. If you haven't posted to this post and want your character on a team, please do so.]

Special note: Ignore the comments that said there would be 400, that has been retconned and we were told 1200 Third Party members from the start. Enjoy killing them off and taking names.

Special note 2: I asked Akai if any of the Third Party will be coming and dealing with their incapacitated allies, and they will. So assume that unless something is done to prevent this, those injured Third Party members may come back later healed and ready to attack again (though possibly not as effectively).

I suppose you have a point. If they had to bring anyone, I'm certainly glad they at least chose those of us capable of holding our own.

[She's just about finished that bottle of water. Eying it thoughtfully.]

...Though I do wish this could have been avoided.

... aye. [He lowers his gaze to the ground.] These people we're killing don't talk, no matter what you try. They just want us dead. I'm not sure something like this can be avoided at all.

I... I'm sure there must be some way.

[She sighs, lowering her gaze as well.] Although I have to admit, I'm not sure what it would be.

[A faint beeping sound goes off inside the Stingray. Goroh knows that that sound is. There's something showing up on the radar. They aren't friendlies.]

Philosophical discussion's gonna have to wait, we got TP's coming to crash our party. You ready?

[Well, damn. It's a good thing she's had enough time to cool down, then, isn't it?]

Yes, I'm alright. Ready, Lao Jiu? [The panda gives a soft whine, but still nods.] Sorry.

Which way are they coming from, Mr. Goroh?

[Goroh has to lean inside his cockpit to check.]

North by northwest. [With that, he steps in front of Litchi, readying his blaster and waiting for the first one to show up on the horizon. With any luck, he can shoot them down before they get to either of them.]

[Litchi shakes her head as he steps in front of her. That's really a solid block to her fighting style, Goroh -- but that's fine. She takes a step back, jumps, and throws Mantenbou out about ten feet in front of them. If Goroh's shots can't take down everything, then there's a second line of defense, at least.]

Sorry, Mr. Goroh. I don't mean to just stand here and let you do all the work.

[He frowns at the stick flying in the air.]

That thing better not get in the way of my line of fire. [Because it's not about protecting her or keeping her safe. He just would rather not shoot any of his allies. It's on that note that the soldiers start appearing. Not a huge swarm, really. About ten of them, perhaps. They provide an ample target for Goroh, but he's no sharpshooter. He's only succeeding in scattering them until they're close enough to get a good shot in.]

It won't.

[Taking careful note of which way Goroh is shooting, Litchi sends Mantenbou spinning in the opposite direction. It can easily plow on through all the soldiers by itself, but she just corrals a few off to one side before shifting the staff into a Four Winds attack.]

[After taking a few of them down with his blaster, some of them injured rather than killed, Goroh switches to his sword and charges in. He's able to keep his cool in the battle, removing the wings from his enemies in clean and swift strokes. It's obvious he'd have an easier time if he just stabbed the brutes, but somehow this seems like a cleaner, more merciful death to him.]

[Litchi calls Mantenbou back to her side as Goroh finishes up the job, trying her best not to let the guilt get the better of her. This is a war, Litchi. This can't be helped.

Still, this is hard to watch.]

[Don't get too comfy, Litchi. Goroh may be good, but he can't handle that many all at once. A few of them made it past him and he's a little too busy to go rescuing you.]

[Oh, crap.]

Mr. Goroh, duck! Great Wheel!

[Mantenbou shifts again, becoming about five times its usual size... and zooming out to shoot straight through those approaching. The only one to escape the oncoming staff, Litchi meets with a flurry of acrobatic strikes, forcing him back as Mantenbou warps into its doll form and closes in from the other side. ~~DISTORTION FINISH~~

Sorry, Goroh, she's fine without any extra protection.]

[Duck? Who has time to duck when they can use some chump soldier to jump off of. After her staff goes flying back to her, Goroh lands on another soldier, planting his sword inside him. The others, either knocked out or dazed, are easily finished off in turn.]

[Boundary magic sparking slightly at the tip of the staff, Litchi stays perfectly still, keeping her eyes peeled for more incoming soldiers. When the coast seems clear, she relaxes slightly.]

Are you alright, Mr. Goroh?

[Goroh sheaths his sword, not needing to clean his blade. Because it was too fast. Or something. Don't question it.]

Not so much as a scrape.

[Her shoulders slump in obvious relief.]
