What: Killing Third Party members and taking names

Summary: Mass-interaction for those out on the battlefield. Feel free to make team threads along with individual ones or however you wish. Action tags are fine here along with prose. For those plotting mischief, this is the place to do it.
Rating: R for the likely violence since killing will most definitely happen, but this is more for interactions during the battles.

[And early on the 26th everyone gets sent out. Thanks to Caesar's organization, most everyone has been placed in groups, even if some people plan on leaving their groups at some point. Special note: Ignore the comments that said there would be 400, that has been retconned and we were told 1200 Third Party members from the start. Enjoy killing them off and taking names.

Special note 2: I asked Akai if any of the Third Party will be coming and dealing with their incapacitated allies, and they will. So assume that unless something is done to prevent this, those injured Third Party members may come back later healed and ready to attack again (though possibly not as effectively).

[Albert walks to the makeshift base, giving the area one last cursory before heading in.] His team is better off without the liability.

I know. [He doesn't sound very happy admitting it.] It's not even a matter of him being unable to kill - there are others who'd make up for it just fine. But...

[He didn't need to say it. Once they're inside, he rolls up the sleeves to his shirt and sits down somewhere. You know. Where there's no blood or anything.] Why is it so hard to understand?

Bleeding hearts. [Albert looks down at Caesar while he sits.] Some bleed for so long that there's no stopping them, even in the worst circumstances.

It just doesn't make sense. Thinking that way at a time like this... [He shakes his head.] I hope he'll at least stay out of trouble.

[dryly] Were this the Harmonian army, he would likely be sedated and arrested for treason.

They really don't mess around, do they? We don't even come close to a real army. [So hopefully they'll never have to do things like that. Oh Harmonia.]

It's an efficient means to get rid of a possible disturbance; that kind of dissent affects morale.

It's hard enough when most of them don't want to be out here from the start. But we couldn't do things like that even if we wanted to.

Sedation would have kept him from proving to be a danger to himself and others out there. Though it would only be a temporary solution.

It'd just cause more problems for us later. But I guess if his team chooses to deal with it, we won't have to worry at all. [He shakes his head.] Can't say I didn't try.

One less useful unit on the field.

Just what we need. [He sighs quietly. He knew they'd be fine, with or without him, but it was still troublesome.] Did you have to deal with anything like this?

An upset dissenter would never be allowed so close to officers. And within range of a Harmonian Bishop? There would be reprimands down the chain of command.

I know that. I meant here. Or, uh, the time when you were drafted, that is.

No. Any who expressed worry about killing requested to remain in support positions.

I see. [Ugh. That's not fair.] I guess we didn't have this problem at home because everyone was so eager to fight. They didn't even care who they fought.

Did you expect anything else from the Grassland clans?

Of course not. [But he'd like to never be strangled by a lizard again, thanks.] They're very hard to reason with, but even they hadn't been this difficult.

Like I said. Bleeding hearts. [He snorts.]

Right. [There was nothing else that could be done about it. Hm...] Hey. Can't you sit down already? All this standing around of yours is starting to make me nervous.

Nervous? [At the prompt, Albert looks around and goes to lean against the closest wall, then sitting against it.]

Like you're expecting something that I'm not. [And dammit, you better not be. When Albert sits down, Caesar stands up and moves to do the same. It's not so much an attempt to invade personal space ~~this time~~ as it is to be able to talk more comfortably.] How about you? You're not feeling, uh... anxious or anything? You've been taking it easy these past few days, but this is your first big thing since that incident.

Anxious... [Albert leans his head against the wall for a moment.] Even if I was, do you really think I would say such a thing out here?

I don't think you'd say it at all! That's why I asked.

[He just shakes his head.] Neither the time nor place, Caesar.
