What: Killing Third Party members and taking names
When: 7/26 - 7/31
Where: Sirry Crags
Summary: Mass-interaction for those out on the battlefield. Feel free to make team threads along with individual ones or however you wish. Action tags are fine here along with prose. For those plotting mischief, this is the place to do it.
Rating: R for the likely violence since killing will most definitely happen, but this is more for interactions during the battles.

[And early on the 26th everyone gets sent out. Thanks to Caesar's organization, most everyone has been placed in groups, even if some people plan on leaving their groups at some point. Check out this post for the details. If you haven't posted to this post and want your character on a team, please do so.]

Special note: Ignore the comments that said there would be 400, that has been retconned and we were told 1200 Third Party members from the start. Enjoy killing them off and taking names.

Special note 2: I asked Akai if any of the Third Party will be coming and dealing with their incapacitated allies, and they will. So assume that unless something is done to prevent this, those injured Third Party members may come back later healed and ready to attack again (though possibly not as effectively).

[Vash has no idea where Shadow is. He can only keep his eyes sweeping towards the others he's already downed and-] Stay back! There's someone hiding over here! [-yell a warning to the approaching forces.]

[Now that bothers Shadow a great deal. He aims Thundaga toward the incoming enemies to fry them, no longer caring about giving his position away. His annoyed shout is directed at Vash.]

You'd yell warnings to the enemy!?

[Found you, you bastard.] You don't need to kill them! They were down!

[Sends another blast toward incoming enemies. Believe it or not, he's doing this for a good cause.]

What's the use in keeping them? So they'll wait to be picked up by their kind and sent to fight us again?

It's them or us.

It doesn't have to be like that! Killing is never the answer. [Shoots and clips another's wing. The again taking out his leg to stop his advance.]

[He switches to shuriken for the remaining enemies in his way.] Sometimes we've got no choice. Sometimes... it's the only way to survive.

[And nothing will convince him any differently, not after dealing with a psycho like Kefka messing up his home world.]

NO! There's always another way! [He's coming closer now, moving into a protective stance between the people he's just downed and you.]

[A couple more shuriken take out the last of the enemies threatening him on his side, so Shadow once more turns to look at Vash. The Vanish is faded, not that it'd matter by now anyway.]

If we don't kill them... they'll kill us. You want that?

[Shadow closely eyes the downed enemies behind Vash.]

[He tenses up. You stay away from his attackers!] No, but maybe if we so them mercy they'll do the same.

[He'll hold off on trying anything for just a moment, he can be insanely patient.] You're risking everyone by thinking like that.

We don't have to kill them!

You want to leave them around, so they can come back and kill us?

We don't know if that will happen! Maybe they'll be thankful to be alive and stop fighting! [Such a dreamer] But the only thing for sure is killing is never the answer!

The world doesn't work like that. They'd kill us without a thought if the tables were turned. [A pause. He didn't intend it coming to this but...] Step away.

No. We don't have to kill them. [He raises his gun to show he's serious about protecting them.]

It's a fact of war. If I don't take them out now... I'll be back for 'em later.

NO! I won't let you!

[Shadow's response is to fling a couple shuriken toward the captives.]

[And Vash will shoot them out of the air.] Stop it! If you want to keep us safe then leave the men I take down alone so I don't have to have my attention split!

The only way we'll be safe is if every last one of them dies! [Running and throwing shuriken now, still targeting the downed enemies.]

[He'll keep shooting them out of the sky. He's an amazing shot but quickly switches to this gun and once all the shuriken are taken care of he's using the last four bullets in his hand gun to shoot at you. First shot is aimed at the thigh, he moves from one gun to the next in one fluid motion.]

[And Shadow moves fast to try and evade that attack, but as good as his speed is he can't dodge everything. One of the bullets catches a thigh and he growls under his breath, sparing a Cura. It won't fix it entirely, but will hold off the effects of the injury so he can keep moving. At least the mask hides the wincing he'll be doing now.]

You're wasting everyone's time taking prisoners. It'll be on your head if this backfires!

[Now he flings a couple shuriken in Vash's direction.]

I'm willing to accept that! [He shoots at them, but his aim is off for one. Stupid. Stupid. STUPID! He should have tried to get that death penalty removed. The shuriken is a very painful reminder of that as it sinks in.

Unlike Shadown through, Vash doesn't bother to hide how much that hurts as he hisses with pain.]

[He tosses another shuriken at him. Though he can't keep this up indefinitely, he wants to be sure he's gotten his point across.]

You'll regret it one day. [Whether or not it's here in this situation, Shadow just knows better than to go around showing mercy to enemies who'd give thanks for it in the form of a stab in the back.]

[He easily shoots one out of the air.] If I let you kill them, then I'll regret it now.

Please. I don't want to fight you.
