Summary: It was requested that a general reactionary log be tossed up when the quake happens so people can react in their own way without having a zillion posts. Individual posts are obviously still fine, but this might help people out.
Rating: Uh. G? PG for maybe violence and language? idk. /awesome at

[There is an earthquake! And it is collapsing stuff! Go forth and save yourseeeeelves!

[Throughout the village, Sonic is quickly trying to dart around, looking for people in danger or even rubble to clear. He may not be super strong, but his speed and quills make digging through hard chunks of rock a breeze.]

[ everyone knows what sort of shape the clinic is in. shuri was unlucky enough not to escape the falling rubble. that room he was in completely caved in, leaving him trapped under a whole mess of heavy, sharp debris.

[At the first light shake, Kratos didn't worry. When it grew dangerously fiercer and the walls began to groan and rumble, he knew that this was much more than some small quake.

It took him a few more seconds than he would've liked, considering the ground was shaking and Kratos found it difficult to keep his balance, but soon enough, he found Presea's room and carried her outside. The girl was still fatigued from the war against the third party, but she was wide awake by the time Kratos set her down on the ground.

He looked back at the shaking and roaring house, knowing that it was on the verge of collapsing... And yet he knew that he left behind some things that he couldn't allow to be destroyed.

For once, reason and logic lost. Kratos rushed back inside.]

[Immediately after the earthquake, Terra departs her house. She returns to grab her journal after a moment, leaving a quick message begging people she knows to check in and let her know if they're alright or if they need help. Then, she leaves a message for Shadow. As Secret-Keeper, he'll need to be available. Once that's done, she keeps going.

And...Terra will be all around town. Her main priority is heading to Community Building 1, but she will stop to assist any immediate need along the way, either with healing or lifting or the like. Even afterward, she will continue to make her way around town and help or heal anyone who needs it. At some point, Terra's likely to drop from exhaustion, but the young woman has a lot of stamina for someone of her build and size, and will keep trying to help those in need as long as possible.]

[Rydia is currently staying at that cave in the mountains with Kain -taking time away from everyone else to help him and deal with her own grief- but that doesn't prevent her from warping over to the house soon after the quake. If Kain comes with her, that's fine, but she's not going to push him.

Upon reaching the second floor, she immediately begins calling out for everyone.]

Edward! Ceodore!

[Oh, and...she opens her journal and semi-yells into it.]

Golbez! Are you alright? Respond to me!

[DAMMIT SHURI AND HE WAS JUST COMING OVER TO BRING YOU SOME YAKISOBA. Stupid wounded blonds :|

Having visited before to bring some cards, he knows where Shuri was in the clinic, so Mikage abandons the food and goes to work digging through the rubble, using whatever strength he has and his zaiphon to try to open up a path.]

Oi, Shuri! Are you in there!?

[Presea had been resting in bed when she felt the rumbling. Before it even got to the point of escalating, she was already wide awake and out of bed, only to see Kratos storm into her room, scoop her up, and rush her outside. She was silent throughout the whole ordeal, just a little confused as to what was happening.

Of course, she realized it was an earthquake once they were outside, and she saw the house beginning to cave in. Presea blinks, and before Kratos can get too far, her hand shoots up and grasps his wrist tightly. She looked down at it, staring, as if the appendage had just betrayed her or something.]

[In Community Building 3, it didn't take long after the quake began for Jay to realize that it was time to GTFO. So he grabbed his supplies bag and stuffed canned food into it, plus a can opener, and then his journal. He then grabbed his other "essentials," things he didn't really need, but just couldn't bear to do without. Like his birthday presents. He stuffed the paddle ball from Chibi-Usa, the wind chime from Shirley, and above all else, the Oresoren doll from Stella.]

[At that moment, he felt the floor cracking beneath him, and the ceiling cracking above him. Not wasting any more time, he dashed towards his window, crashing through the glass, falling to the ground below from the second story. He landed on his feet, rolling once to soften the landing. He shot a quick glance at the building before taking off to avoid the incoming debris of the collapsing building.]

[Kratos was just as surprised as Presea, and he looked back at first his wrist caught in Presea's hand, then at the girl herself. He didn't have time to ponder over this, didn't have time to deal with her sudden bout of emotion.]

Stay where you are.

[And with a sudden burst of angelic strength, Kratos jerked his hand out of Presea's grip, and then ran inside once more. With those precious few seconds of delay, Kratos felt a panic seize him. Not for his life, but for the possessions he left. He couldn't let them go down with the house. He couldn't.]

[ This is what he gets when he tries to be like Konatsu. He's awake under that rubble. Well, mostly. He hit his head pretty hard and everything seems fuzzier and fuzzier around the edges, but he's at least coherent enough to shout out a response. ]

Here[ followed by some coughing. that's not good coughing. ]

[The moment Miyabi got down from the mountains after talking to Sanji (http://oda-hates-me.livejournal.com/18857.html?thread=2895529#t2895529), she took a little trip to her favorite spot in Luceti. She prayed every second that she was on the hawk she was riding that the sakura tree was still standing, and that Ammy would be there.

Ammy was the only one she knew who had the pure strength to help out with those who needed it most. And since she was half certain their powers had been returned to them, well. Ammy would be the best candidate for her to seek out right now.

When the two do meet, and Miyabi explains the situation to her goddess, they two are immediately racing off together - with Miya riding on the wolf's head - and will be stirring up some Divine Intervention left and right with a flick of their brushes.]

[Golbez's voice is as calm and reasoned as ever, almost impossibly so.]

I've escaped. The community building I was in collapsed, but I am personally undamaged.

[A sigh of relief.]

I'm glad to hear it. Are there a lot of people trapped within? I can head over there and help out.

[Flight is a very useful ability to have when the earth starts to shake. Arche's out of her house and in the nice, safe air in seconds.

But she doesn't give herself any time to relax. From her vantage point it's all too easy to see what looks like the rest of the village starting to collapse in seconds. Cursing violently under her breath, she turns sharply and launches off at full speed, her destinations being House 34 and the SoS Brigade building, in that order.]

I'm uncertain as to the numbers, but I have to assume there are several. Your assistance, as well as that of anyone else who is willing, would be invaluable, but be careful. The footing around here is treacherous now and I have no idea if there are going to be aftershocks.

Right. I'll be careful...and I'll warp over there, as soon as I find Edward and Ceodore. I'm sure they'll help.

Understood. I await your arrival.

[Yuan hadn't been expecting much from today. The draft had only just ended, and with no New Feathers coming in, what could possibly happen? In short, he'd let his guard down. He came to regret that the moment the earthquake hit. Immediately jumping to his feet, he realized this wasn't just a bit of rumbling; it was a big one. He could feel the house's foundations shaking underneath him and knew there wasn't a moment to spare.

He pocketed his journal and dashed towards Martel's room in a matter of seconds. That was about as long as they had before the house's north east walls started to collapse and sink away into a tunnel.]

Martel!

[Martel met him halfway, though, appearing in the doorway to her room, looking alarmed.] Yuan, what's happening?! [How would he know? But it's still her reflex to look to him for wisdom, so she asked anyway.]

[In the distance, Yuan could hear the chaos coming from the rest of the village. Screams, smashing, rumbling... This was bad. He didn't bother answering her question. Even as the house was shaking unsteadily, as if it was about to keel over, he made a grab for her wrist.]

We have to get out of here! Now!

[They get about five steps closer to the door, then she stops short, pulling back.] Cooro! Is he home!?

[Dammit woman, can't you see you're in mortal peril?] I'll check! You keep running.

[And he won't take no for an answer. He's already turned to dash back into the fray.]

[Sharply:] Yuan! [But nope, he's gone. She exhales in a worried and slightly exasperated sigh, then continues out of the house, though she's walking almost sideways so she can keep a worried eye back into the mayhem for Yuan.

She'll be waiting just outside.]

[Rydia's lucky Ceodore's still in the house. He's on his way out to go looking for his friends, but he's so relieved to see her he forgets that teen aversion to hugging and grabs her for a close one. It's been a horrible enough week already.]

Rydia! Are you hurt? What about Kain? [He knows they were together and well, he's got an obligation to ask.]

[Rydia hugs him back, of course.]

I'm fine, and so is Kain. Golbez is too, but the building he was staying in collapsed. There are people trapped within the rubble, so we ought to help, if--is Edward alright?
