Summary: John is awake at last and pondering the state of things in the storage room of the barracks; his appearance there hasn't been broadcast, but he's still there, so while he's sort of guarded he's available if you know where to look. I'm making this bracket style too, because we are all lazy hos.
Rating: PG maybe?

[At the end of nearly a week's worth rest and recovery, John is up and awake, tucked away in the back area of the Luceti barracks, lost in Deep Thought. Obviously things have gone very, very wrong in Luceti, considering the mess outside. Without his equipment, he can't just fix it on his own.

...Dammit, that means he has to talk to people.

After much deliberation, John will be venturing out of his room to get a better look at the situation, as well as find some gophers to do dirty work for him. He won't be going outside, because HELLO, summons, but he'll most likely be at the windows or doors, watching. Bother him or be prepared to be bothered \o

As an extra note: PLEASE do not be offended if John brushes your character off. He is an extremely intolerant NPC and generally unhelpful to peons, so if he doesn't find your character to be worth his time, expect to be ignored.]

[In John's tour of the barracks, it's likely that he'll come across Raine. Her location hasn't changed since she was first brought in there, though she's been awake more often than not, now, in her own secluded corner.

She'll be sitting up in bed, her journal closed on her lap, looking toward a window that's not close enough to make good use out of. For now.]

[ With the frenzy of freakish hell demons falling from the sky outside, McCoy is keeping inside the barracks more than usual. When he notices that John is wandering around after regaining his strength, he keeps a wary eye on him as he does his rounds in the temporary clinic and makes no attempt at hiding his suspicion. ]

[If John isn't careful, he might just end up stumbling over Emil, who is currently curled up fast asleep on an Astrogul pillow right beneath one of the windows. So much for thinking he's found some floorspace that's out of the line of traffic.]

[Usagi has been in and out of the barracks all day. When she finally takes a break, probably seated in a chair by someone's makeshift patient bed, she spots John. The red man certainly sticks out like a sore thumb, and Usagi thinks he looks very much like a pepper--the spicy variety, of course, someone she probably wouldn't want to mess with or bother.

But she is the social butterfly, the helpful little bee, and after a few moments of "He's scary looking" to "He can't be that bad", she finally gathers to courage to wander over and talk to him.

How lucky he is.]

[As part of his duties to the League, Batman's been taking shifts guarding John from potential ne'er do wells between bouts of fighting outside and sleeping.

Seeing him up and about, he's still keeping a watchful eye on him... and any who approach him.]

[Yo, John. Guess who's turn it is to ~~keep an eye on~~ watch over you?

For the past week, Diana has been a bit wary of John, not really trusting him to not blow up the barracks and everyone in it. He's one of the Malnosso, after all. But as the days pass, she can't help but let her inherently good nature take over, and she begins to relax around him. The fact that the barracks is still intact is a good indication that he's harmless, right?]
