Summary: HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE TRAUMA. FREE FOR ALL IN THE SCARRING EXPERIENCES DEPARTMENT.
Rating: Gosh. I'm not sure. However, I suggest you hide your little'uns.

Basically, the purpose of this log is TRAUMA SPAM. If you didn't want to spam your flist with extra posts, or you wanted to post with more than one character -- or more than one character more than once! -- here is your place to be.

This will be a commentspam style log where you can thread start with your character hallucinating things. Whatever you wish it to be! It can even just be a more general thread start where they're not hallucinating anything -- yet. And each thread can get treated like a post, where that character's CR can react to the trauma going down!

If you still wish to actually post in your character's journal, you're of course totally allowed to do so. This is just here for funtiems and convenience for everyone who wanted a greater chance to post during this event! Feel free to use it anytime over the next few days, through Halloween, to do "posts" and threads with your characters.

[Albert returns before it is very dark out, spending a few moments staring out at the fog from the safety of the porch before heading inside. Even in comparison to past years, the air around the village was very still and cryptic. Would they have another bloodbath like two years ago, complete with the fires and rapid vampirization of the populace?

He heads into the hallway, pausing when he sees Caesar's door open. He stops in front of the doorway, looking in carefully; Caesar rarely left his door open.]

[Caesar was finding it a little hard to stay focused - it was kind of difficult when there was something you knew you should remember but couldn't. However, the sound of the front door opening, that's what he was waiting for. He stands up from the edge of his bed, ready to go and meet his brother except it seems as though Albert beat him to it.]

Oh. You're back.

[Albert frowns when he sees Caesar standing in his room, momentarily seeing those wings behind him dripping blood. He blinks once, the phantom image quickly fading.]

Caesar?

[Caesar also blinks. Did he not hear him? Or maybe he wanted something? Hm.]

Y-yes?

[He shakes his head, waving dismissively as faces the doorway properly.] Shall I shut your door?

Oh. I don't care. [He was already standing, so if Albert didn't close it, he could just do it himself. But...] Everything all right?

[He doesn't answer right away, contemplating whether it is worth mentioning or not. So far, it seemed as if everyone was being affected by these phantom images.]

Fine, considering everything going on. How are you feeling?

[Something was up. It might only have been subtle, but Caesar could tell that his brother seemed to have something on his mind.]

I'm fine. [It was kind of embarrassing to talk about, so he'd keep it short and sweet. It didn't help that his costume didn't do much to hide those bruises.] Sore.

[He looks wryly at Caesar's bruises as Caesar answers.] More reason than ever not to make a spectacle of yourself at the possible Halloween party.

I know, I know. [He moves to sit down on his bed again.] I don't need anyone else to remind me that I'm an idiot.

I seem to recall someone holding a certain event from last year over my head for awhile, reminding me of my own idiocy. [He speaks broadly and with some exaggeration.]

I don't know what you're talking about. [He shrugs. Oh, how well he knew what he was talking about.] That was different. I'm fine.

Good. I don't need to tell you to rest, then. [He turns to leave, glancing down at his gloved hands as he takes a step forward.

Albert freezes in his tracks as he sees his hands slide right off of his wrists, dropping to the floor silently. His eyes widen.]

[Another pause? What was with him today?]

Uh... Albert?

[He hears Caesar, but it's hard to look away from his hands -- or lack of hands. He blinks hard, shaking his head to clear it.

He sighs audibly when he opens his eyes and sees his hands are still in one piece.]

[Caesar stands up again when he doesn't answer, taking a step toward the door. He speaks up after Albert sighs.]

Hey. You sure everything's all right? You're acting strange.

Strange? [He repeats the word as he looks up, staring at Caesar. There's still a wariness in his expression as he drops his hands back to his sides.] Have you not been seeing or hearing things?

[Oh, was that it?]

Well, yes, but... Um, not recently. [In fact, his hallucinations had happened infrequently enough that he hadn't expected to catch Albert while he was experiencing one.] You saw something just now?

[He nods, taking a moment to glance again at his hands before verbally responding.] It's the first I have seen something happening to my body.

Huh? [His body? Caesar pauses to consider this. He hadn't seen anything like that himself, but Albert kept glancing down, so-] Your hands?

[He frowns at the fact that Caesar noticed, but quickly rationalizes that he had been glancing at his hands quite a bit. He nods, speaking bluntly.] They appeared to fall off.

[Caesar had seen the scars when he replaced his brother's gloves, but he doesn't make that connection yet. In fact, it's far from his mind - all he can think is how ridiculously strange it is to see that.]

That's an... interesting thing to see.

Indeed. Not something I would recommend voluntarily seeing. [There is a certain bitterness to his tone.]

[He gives a nod. The bitterness is apparent and yet... he still isn't quite sure why.]

Has everything you've seen been that strange?

[He shakes his head faintly.] No. Like I said, this is the first on my body. Others have been distracting, but only momentarily so. Your wings appearing to bleed, for example.
