Summary: HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE TRAUMA. FREE FOR ALL IN THE SCARRING EXPERIENCES DEPARTMENT.
Rating: Gosh. I'm not sure. However, I suggest you hide your little'uns.

Basically, the purpose of this log is TRAUMA SPAM. If you didn't want to spam your flist with extra posts, or you wanted to post with more than one character -- or more than one character more than once! -- here is your place to be.

This will be a commentspam style log where you can thread start with your character hallucinating things. Whatever you wish it to be! It can even just be a more general thread start where they're not hallucinating anything -- yet. And each thread can get treated like a post, where that character's CR can react to the trauma going down!

If you still wish to actually post in your character's journal, you're of course totally allowed to do so. This is just here for funtiems and convenience for everyone who wanted a greater chance to post during this event! Feel free to use it anytime over the next few days, through Halloween, to do "posts" and threads with your characters.

[Sorry April, Vash isn't sleepwalking either, but he might as well be as he runs through the forest trying to escape the echo that's chasing him. He's also screaming trying to drown out the shouting accusing voice that keeps insisting that he shot him. It can't believe he really shot him!

When the world finally snaps back into reality he's going too fast to avoid the crash, but at least tries to stop enough that the crash won't be a break neck speed. Hope you like slamming into a terrified gunman as an alarm clock.]

[The collision might not be break neck, but it sure does HURT and it knocks April to the ground, where she'll just sit and wonder how she got out here.]

What---? What's the yelling about...

[Vash falls with you, but keeps enough sense about him to keep himself from falling on top of you.]

April! I'm sorry! I didn't see you!

VASH! [Well it wouldn't be the first time he's ended up on top of her. Except this time is MUCH MUCH SCARIER.] It's okay, it's okay. I'm alright. Can you tell me what's going on?

N-nothing. I'm fine. [Looking around a little wide eyed to see where he is.] What are you doing out in the forest?

I don't know. Last thing I remember was getting into bed. Are you okay? [Because he does NOT look okay, costume or no.]

I'm fine. No harm do- [April... weren't you wearing a clown costume? When did your hair drip blood? And where did that bullet hole in your head come from? And why was he holding a smoking gun!?

With a yelp April will see Vash toss an invisible object away into the trees. Considering he does this with the hand with the claw it might look comical, except for that absolute horrified look on his face.]

[VERY slowly, she gets to her knees, holding a hand out to the gunfighter.]

Vash? You're scaring me.

[Vash flinches away from the zombie hands that are reaching towards him.] No! Please! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I didn't want... I didn't mean to!

[April is SO confused, but she stops and pulls away.]

Vash...didn't mean to WHAT? Hello? I just woke up. I need the whole story.

[He slaps his hands over his ears and shuts his eyes. Oh god. They're here for him. Lost July... all those people. There were here for him. All shouting at him. All accusing him. Saying that he would pay! He would pay!]

I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please! Wait a little bit longer! I need to find him! Please! I'm sorry! But I need to stop him! Please wait! Wait! After... after I find him! Then you can do whatever you want! But please! Not now! NOT NOW!

[Then, all of a sudden, Vash starts to calm down and speaks so softly April might not even hear it.]

Rem...?

[A beat.]

[Then suddenly Vash's eyes snap wide right before he smashes his forehead into the ground and starts SCREAMING]

VASH! [He's going to HURT himself!

The last time April saw behavior like this had been when Leonardo had a nightmare while staying at her place. When they'd tried to wake him up, he'd awakened swinging violently. Then, there were Donatello's recent words after their night together on the floor: Don't let me. I could hurt you, April.

But she's overwhelmed with pity at the sight of this man falling to pieces. Every motherly instinct kicking in, she pulls Vash into her arms and murmurs whatever soothing words come into her head.]

I'll wait. You'll find him, Vash, I promise. And I don't mind waiting. See? I'm a waiting pro.

[Good move April. Any other move besides motherly he might have attacked. The motherly and kind touch his brain can't seem to wrap itself around. Rem was angry at him... so angry... she wouldn't hold him like this after what he had done. She had made that clear just moments ago. So very clear.

Then... who?]

M-Meryl? I...

[Whatever he was about to say gets broken off and lost into quiet, but yet, rather violent sobbing. Although chances are it was something to do with him being sorry.]

[April wraps her arms around him and waits, resting her chin on the top of his head. Meanwhile, though, her mind is racing. How is she supposed to get him home? She's...not even sure where they are. Lost in the woods. Again.

There's something not right about that.

Shhhh. You'll see Meryl soon, okay? Just---you have to calm down first, Vash.

[After a few moments the world he's been living in melts away. That's... not Meryl holding him, but not an enemy or someone out to hurt him either. He'll carefully sit up, feeling drained and miserable, how much of that had he said out loud?]

April... I'm sorry.

It's fine, really! Everything's bonkers right now. [The words come out in a relieved rush.] I think you were having a nightmare.

Y-yeah... just a nightmare.

Uh...speaking of nightmares, did you just hear something that sounded like...like a crunching metal noise? [April is trying to sound as though she doesn't care about this noise in the least.]

Crunching metal? No.

Ah. Maybe it's just me, then. [But then the metallic noise sounds like it's getting closer.]

....We should get out of here.

Not a bad idea. [Vash works on getting himself up, then offers you a hand.]

[April accepts it, gratefully, hoping he's getting somewhat more under control now. Then she hears the sound again. Except it has multiplied, and it is DEFINITELY closer.]

Vash, I think we need to run. We need to...to run.

Of course it does!
