Summary: HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE TRAUMA. FREE FOR ALL IN THE SCARRING EXPERIENCES DEPARTMENT.
Rating: Gosh. I'm not sure. However, I suggest you hide your little'uns.

Basically, the purpose of this log is TRAUMA SPAM. If you didn't want to spam your flist with extra posts, or you wanted to post with more than one character -- or more than one character more than once! -- here is your place to be.

This will be a commentspam style log where you can thread start with your character hallucinating things. Whatever you wish it to be! It can even just be a more general thread start where they're not hallucinating anything -- yet. And each thread can get treated like a post, where that character's CR can react to the trauma going down!

If you still wish to actually post in your character's journal, you're of course totally allowed to do so. This is just here for funtiems and convenience for everyone who wanted a greater chance to post during this event! Feel free to use it anytime over the next few days, through Halloween, to do "posts" and threads with your characters.

..........Did you just leave me at the bottom of a tree because you thought you saw some kind of dangerous monster?

I would have come back for you. [He totally would have too, but smelling of gunpowder he knows Moro to bite first when it comes to him.]

Riiiight. Come on, I need your expertise in this place once again, because I have no idea where to go. [And I don't want to be alone, because...Mousers.]

Alright it's this way. [He heads into the woods, but walks around as if going around a large puddle (or body) that's not there now and then. As they grow closer to the village he suddenly stops, staring nervously ahead.]

[April sticks as close to him as she possibly can. So much so that the sudden stop causes her to bump into him.] Vash--what...?

[Vash stands stock still for a moment, staring at someone who isn't there before he speaks in a whisper. He'll also be moving to stand in front of you.]

D-do you see anyone up ahead?

[His mood is catching; April shivers and huddles close to Vash, clinging to the back of his coat.]

No! But then again, I'm trying not to look!

Then he's not re-GAHHH! [Vash yells as if stung by a bee and collapses to his knees. He stares in horror at his right arm and grabbing at the wrist.]

It's not real! It's not real! IT'S NOT REAL! [He screams and huddles over his arm. Why won't what he seeing go away?]

There's no light! It's not real! It's not there! Stop it... please stop it. [He starts to break off into soft sobs as he tries to convince himself that what's happening isn't happening.] I-it's no-not r-real! IT'S NOT REAL!

Vash! [April's heart sinks; between the two of them, she's not sure if they'll ever make it back to the village. But strangely, she's not as afraid now: mostly she's angry at herself for not being level-headed, like she usually is, or TRIES to be. She lays a hand on his shoulder and tries to soothe him again.]

Shhhh--Vash. I need you. If we're going to get out of here, it has to be together. And you're too big for me to carry, right? Ha! And wouldn't that look silly?

The light... it won't go away. [He's practically in tears now and he seems to be struggling with something.] Why won't it stop?

[April slowly reaches down and covers Vash's eyes with cool palms, holding the heels of her hands against his temples. Somehow, she's got to get him back in his right mind so they can keep going. She can't leave him here.]

I don't know, I don't know why it won't stop. Try to relax. These things, they don't seem to last for too long; you'll be okay in a minute.

[Vash flinches that the touch. No! If this is real then he could really hurt her! But then as he thinks about it... if it was real she'd be running from him right now.

The light is blocked with her hands on his eyes, but he can still feel and hear the transformation happening. Only now he knows, he knows it's not real and he relaxes. Slowly he feels his arm return to normal.]

Thank you April... it's passed. Thank you.

You're welcome. Uh--I'm going to take my hands away now, okay? [She does, slowly.] When this is over? We're going to get donuts. Lots and lots of donuts. And get really fat together in the couch fort that I am going to build in our living room.

Alright, I'm ready. [When the hands are removed he lets out a long sigh.] He's gone. [He turns with a grin at the donut promise.]

I like the sound of that! I'm already ready to eat my weight in donuts.

Me too! I'll regret it later, but I am so with you. Come on. [This time April takes the lead, though she still wants to remain close to her friend. God only knows what might happen to them on the walk from forest to village.] Can I ask you what you just saw? The light thing?

[His smile drops and he looks towards the ground.] It... it was nothing. I just thought I saw a man from the village. His name is Legato and he's very dangerous. He can control people's bodies against their will.

Ugh. That sounds horrible. I don't think I've ever met this guy. [She reaches out to take Vash's hand again, mostly because she's still shaken and she feels like she might lose him again to these strange hallucinations.]

[Vash is happy to hang onto that hand. Hoping it will be an anchor to reality.] Nor do you ever want to. If you ever see a man a white coat, blue hair, and yellow eyes stay away from him. He hates all humans, including himself, just whatever you do. Don't let on that you know me to him.

[Okay, so he sounds pretty recognizable...] Why is it such a bad thing if he knows I know you?

He's from my world and he likes to target me and my friends. He's more likely to leave you alone if he doesn't know you know me.

Oh. I'm sorry. [Walking a bit more, then:] I can't imagine being stuck in Luceti with an enemy like that.

Oh, it's not so bad. [Yes it is.] I'm hoping he's using this as an excuse to start a new life.

Well for your sake? I hope so, too. Uh...you good?

[He chuckles.] I think I'm not going to jinx it by answering that. We're almost to the village at least.

Yeah. Thank GOD. Uh, Vash? I might have to take a rain check on those donuts for now. The guys are probably wondering what the heck happened to me.
