Summary: HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE TRAUMA. FREE FOR ALL IN THE SCARRING EXPERIENCES DEPARTMENT.
Rating: Gosh. I'm not sure. However, I suggest you hide your little'uns.

Basically, the purpose of this log is TRAUMA SPAM. If you didn't want to spam your flist with extra posts, or you wanted to post with more than one character -- or more than one character more than once! -- here is your place to be.

This will be a commentspam style log where you can thread start with your character hallucinating things. Whatever you wish it to be! It can even just be a more general thread start where they're not hallucinating anything -- yet. And each thread can get treated like a post, where that character's CR can react to the trauma going down!

If you still wish to actually post in your character's journal, you're of course totally allowed to do so. This is just here for funtiems and convenience for everyone who wanted a greater chance to post during this event! Feel free to use it anytime over the next few days, through Halloween, to do "posts" and threads with your characters.

[ Her first, deeply unfortunate reaction is to scramble backwards at the sound of his voice, her expression terribly frightened. But once she registers he's real -- that this is her friend, and not a hallucination -- all the tension goes out of her and she nods, slowly, unable to bring herself to speak. ]

[Alright, so she's effectively spooked by everything. He doesn't take the reaction personally, only worried what she's been seeing that's causing such a downward spiral]

What happened? Are you hurt? [They can hit the psychological effects in a moment. He approaches and leans down as much as his shitty costume will allow, glancing over her in worry]

I'm okay.

[ it doesn't sound terribly convincing, but she does mean it. ]

I just... I just needed to get away for a little while.

[At this time of evening when the fog might be rolling in... that's when she decided to get away.]

Outside's not the best place for getting away right now. [Even as he says it, he shifts enough that he can sit down next to her]

[ sorry dad. leaning against you immediately because baw, sanji. ]

I know. It's getting late. I just ... there's no way I could stay there. And I didn't want to go far in case I got stranded somewhere else...

[ she glances up at him ] What are you doing out here, anyway?

[There's a hum of understanding, as he shifts to let her lean in a more comfortable position... and then a vague, thin grin]

Didn't feel like staying in the house. Damn thing wouldn't stop bleeding.

[ she blinks at him and lets this slip before thinking to stop herself ]

Yours too?

That's right. For about two seconds.

... ew.

[ it's the best she can think of. and bleeding houses are pretty gross. she pulls her hat off and hugs it to her chest, sighing deeply. ]

Aside from your house ... bleeding ... how are you, Sanji? [ she looks up at him ] Are you okay?

[Isn't that the question.

He leans back and looks at the sky - well, not that he can see much with that shitty overcast, but it gives him something to concentrate on as he searches the words to use]

Yeah, I'm okay. [It's not a lie, really. He's as fine as he can be considering the circumstances] And can't wait for this week to end.

... [ Xion sighs. She can't help but worry about him anyway, knowing some of what he's gone through, at least in Luceti, and what sort of hallucinations that might play into. On impulse, she holds up her hat and places it on his head, setting it (and the bunny ears) at a jaunty tilt, smiling a little. She knows it'll come back to her in a moment, but it might make him smile, too. ]

Me neither. At least there's not much time left until then. We just have to make it through. It'll be okay.

[He's more surprised by the words than the hat, though he arches a brow and gives an ear a pull.]

I think it looked better on you.

[He's grinning though. Isn't he supposed to cheer you up?]

It will.

Besides, Thriller Bark was worse than this shit. [Well, some of it was worse]

But you look good with bunny ears! [ she smiles back, more widely now. doing good things for other people can make you feel pretty good after all, so cheering him up cheers her up pretty effectively.

but the mention of this Thriller Bark makes her blink. oooo, she senses a story... ]

Thriller Bark? Is that another place your crew visited?

[snort. The bunny ears pop back on her head a second later anyway, which Sanji will take as a victory] Maah, they like you better.

And that's right. A ship as big as an entire island, filled with zombies, ghosts, and unfortunate shitheads who had lost their shadows.

We met Brook around the same time.

[ it actually makes her laugh. hat and ears, both back. somewhat stubbornly, she takes them off again. it's easier to look up at him without them in the way. ] Unfortunately for me.

[ SHINY EYES. a little. ] As big as an island?! I can't even imagine how huge it must have been! That's crazy... [ headtilt ] Lost their shadows... I didn't know that sort of thing could be taken. [ says the girl from the universe of Heartless and Nobodies and whatever the fuck else. ] Did Brook live there?

We were fooled too, at first! It looked like an island. But then we spotted the flag and it all made sense.

[He shakes his head, drifting back into the past] No, Brook didn't. See, he'd lost his shadow, too, and Luffy decided we'd help him get it back.

But how did such a big ship even float? Shouldn't it sink? [ not that she knows anything about these things. ]

Lost his... [ whoa. blink. but her face crinkles into something rather fond at that ] Hee, of course he did. And you managed it, too, didn't you? [ it's not even really a question. her faith in all of them is absolute. ]

At least we haven't had any zombies here, though. Not real ones, anyway. [ hallucinated ones are an entirely different story. ]

You'd think so, but no.

It's the same principle if you put a empty bowl on top of water. So long as it weights less than the water it's pushing out of the way to make room for itself, it'll float. [That gets the general point across]

Of course. [Like there was ever any doubt, the grin on his face says] Couldn't leave our new musician behind.

Zombies aren't that bad. And definitely not the brightest bulbs I've kicked into the ground.

... Not that I'm eager to see them again.
