Summary: HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE TRAUMA. FREE FOR ALL IN THE SCARRING EXPERIENCES DEPARTMENT.
Rating: Gosh. I'm not sure. However, I suggest you hide your little'uns.

Basically, the purpose of this log is TRAUMA SPAM. If you didn't want to spam your flist with extra posts, or you wanted to post with more than one character -- or more than one character more than once! -- here is your place to be.

This will be a commentspam style log where you can thread start with your character hallucinating things. Whatever you wish it to be! It can even just be a more general thread start where they're not hallucinating anything -- yet. And each thread can get treated like a post, where that character's CR can react to the trauma going down!

If you still wish to actually post in your character's journal, you're of course totally allowed to do so. This is just here for funtiems and convenience for everyone who wanted a greater chance to post during this event! Feel free to use it anytime over the next few days, through Halloween, to do "posts" and threads with your characters.

[Well, will she object to him slinging an arm around her? 'cause that's what he's doing.]

[ not at all. she does go pink in the face, but she ducks her head down a little, under the pretense of taking off her hat and bunny hears, so he can't see. she'll also continue leaning into him. it solves her problem of being cold, somewhat; her shivering slows. ]

... how long have you been seeing him? [ worried. ]

Few hours now.

[Yes, hours. It's a wonder he's taking this so well, really.]

A few hours? [ now she does look up at him, and thankfully the color in her face has faded. ] How are you-- are you okay?

[He winces and looks away.]

I'll manage. Not like illusions can really hurt me.

[ she pauses for a moment, watching him wince, glancing at his hand where it rests on her shoulder ... and she reaches an arm up, placing her hand over his, looking back at his face. ]

Not physically. But that doesn't mean they can't hurt in other ways. It's happening to all of us, Riku. It's okay.

[He didn't expect her to comfort him. In a way, it's almost backwards. Nonetheless, he appreciates it, and when she places her hand on top of his, he cracks a weak smile.]

Right. But you know me; I always have to face things on my own.

[He laughs dryly. Once stubborn, always stubborn.]

[ very softly, with a hint of a smile ] Of course.

[ some things never change. absently, she threads their fingers together, not really thinking about the motion. ]

Just remember we're still here at the end of the day, okay? [ we. your friends. he always does things by himself... but she does kind of wish he'd rely on them a little more. ]

[All the people he's close to are saps. He shakes his head, keeping still.]

Mmm.

[ it's a small, content noise. Xion settles against him, feeling strangely safe like this after all the terror. She has no reason to even think or feel that way, other than Riku has sort of always made her feel safe.

That's reason enough, probably.

Xion rests her head against his shoulder and shuts her eyes. After a minute or two of sitting in silence, her breathing will start to even out. She's not asleep -- but she's getting there. She's just been so exhausted... ]

[He'd say something, but given that she didn't want to head inside before, he's content with staying as long as she'd like. Rather than move, he stays still, allowing her to get comfortable. Yes, Riku will be her pillow for the time being.]

[ once she stops shivering, it's clear she's actually dozed off, though it's likely a very light sleep. xion, a bridge is a bad place to fall asleep, come on now. ]

[That's okay. After she's drifted off, he'll gently lift her up and start carrying back towards the house.]

[ on the way back, she stirs in his arms, making a soft sound and opening her eyes slightly. she registers a couple of things quickly: that she's being carried, that it's Riku carrying her, and that she feels remarkably warm and safe. rather than say anything, she instead smiles gently and curls up against his chest, drifting in and out of sleep until they get back to the house, where she'll wake up proper and just sort of look at him. ]

[...Well, hey there, Xion. Once she's awake, Riku watches her carefully before speaking up.]

Hey. You feeling better?

[ she sits up, registering that he not only managed to get her into the house, but into her room and on the bed. jeez, he carried her all that way... she flushes a little pink, embarrassed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and smiling sheepishly as she swings her legs over the edge of the bed. ]

A little. S-- ... thank you for bringing me back here.

[He smiles right back at her, stepping a little bit closer.]

[ two things occur to Xion at the same time:

1) Riku is still really handsome when he smiles like that.

2) They are currently alone in her room. Together. ... Alone.

WELL before this can go anyplace extraordinarily awkward she rises to her feet ... and decides to take this extraordinarily awkward places anyway by rising up on her tiptoes and giving him a kiss on the cheek in thanks.

er. pink. hm. time to SCURRY OUT OF THE ROOM before this can get any worse BYE RIKU ]

To say the least, Riku's surprised. After what happened back in August, he hadn't anticipated her to be this affectionate with him any time soon.

Yes, even after two months. Though a part of him is tempted to chase after her, he'll leave her be for now. If nothing else, this is progress, and that's good enough for him.]
