FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE, MY FELLOW LUCETIANS

Who: EVERYONE
What: TRAUMA!
When: ALL THE TIME
Where: ANYWHERE
Summary: HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE TRAUMA. FREE FOR ALL IN THE SCARRING EXPERIENCES DEPARTMENT.
Rating: Gosh. I'm not sure. However, I suggest you hide your little'uns.

Basically, the purpose of this log is TRAUMA SPAM. If you didn't want to spam your flist with extra posts, or you wanted to post with more than one character -- or more than one character more than once! -- here is your place to be.

This will be a commentspam style log where you can thread start with your character hallucinating things. Whatever you wish it to be! It can even just be a more general thread start where they're not hallucinating anything -- yet. And each thread can get treated like a post, where that character's CR can react to the trauma going down!

If you still wish to actually post in your character's journal, you're of course totally allowed to do so. This is just here for funtiems and convenience for everyone who wanted a greater chance to post during this event! Feel free to use it anytime over the next few days, through Halloween, to do "posts" and threads with your characters.

Have at, guys!

[Giles is not paying any attention to the other woman. Pointedly not paying any attention to her, the same way Helios is refusing to look at the woman covered in blood. But he definitely knows she's there.]

Of course it does. It all does. [One hand on Helios' shoulder, he'll just make to guide the other man away, away from the two apparitions.] They know everything about us, and it's not fair.

I was thinking of starting a bonfire once all of this is over. The entire village can come and burn these stupid costumes if they're still here after Halloween. What do you think?

[ He can't help but give a small laugh. ] Normally I'd be against such things. But I wouldn't mind that. Especially this...costume. [ He's still a bit shaken and is just going to ignore Elise for the moment, it's better that way, easier even. ]

I don't understand why. I just--I can't understand why they would this to us.

Because they're cruel, and we don't mean anything to them.

I've seen inside their facility, and it doesn't surprise me at all that monsters like that would do something like this.

How could anyone be-- [ He stops mid-sentence because it's obvious that many people are this cruel and that what Giles said is very true. ] We mean nothing. Just like guinea pigs. [ He doesn't understand it. ]

The facility...oh yes you were apart of that. I can only imagine what you found.

Let's...just say that I didn't feel much remorse at shooting any Malnosso I came across in the knees. [Or, far more often, in the head.]

And that's before I found myself at the Third Floor.

[You're ignoring me. The woman sounds upset. I thought you forgave me. Giles flinches, pauses for just a second, takes a breath.]

S-Still. One day, I fully intend to find my way out of here. Or at least find my way back to that place with whatever explosives I can rig up. Just the thought of Buffy being there...

Shooting. [ He frowns, he doesn't support violence very often but the Malnosso are making it increasingly difficult to have him say no to such actions. ]

I think we're all aiming for that. Someday we're all going to get out, and perhaps even find a way to travel to each other's worlds. It would be a nice reunion. [ He's trying to not listen to the woman and keep the conversation going. Though his own hallucination isn't far behind. You're mine you know. She sounds upset, almost like the normal human being she once was. But the voice changes into something vicious and sharp in an instant. Your soul should be with me, darling. ]

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-10-30 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes. Other worlds. I've already s-spoken with some people about that. Really, if we d-didn't have the Malnosso to worry about, none of this would be quite so bad. I used to live on a H-Hellmouth and I never had opportunities like this.

[Tell me how to wake Acathla and I'll make it right. Unlike the vengeance that seems to mark the other woman, Giles' personal demon is simply sad. Pleading. We can be together.]

I d-don't expect many visitors to Sunnydale, however. It's n-not a very nice place to live.

[personal profile] folklorist 2010-10-30 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
They seem to enjoy it which is what's so sad about it. [ He will wince as the woman hisses his name. Helios. Why aren't you answering me. Helios will shake his head quickening his pace a little. ]

I-I don't think after spending time in this place for almost a year, that Sunnydale, despite what you've told me, would deter me to seeing it for myself.

Oh, it's amazingly dull when the world's not ending. I would never have thought so, but investigating mysterious murders just gets so routine after a while.

Maybe we should just leave. [Giles shivers a little and quickens his pace to match Helios'.] Get outside the village. If we just avoid the mist. Maybe all of...this can't follow us.

[ Helios is beyond his limit so he'd be willing to try anything at this point. Call it desperation or what you will but having to constantly see her is taking its toll on him. ] Do you really think it'd be as easy that? I-I don't know. [ He just laughs without humor or much emotion behind it. ] I just don't know what to do to make it go away.

Nor do I. But we have to try something. [He glances back at Jenny, and regrets it] I can't talk to her. Can you? The alternative is just waiting, but who knows how long this will last. Do experiments normally last outside the village?

[personal profile] folklorist 2010-10-31 12:20 am (UTC)(link)
I-I don't think so. They just...they just keep coming. [ He looks to see Elise standing there as well. A clear indication of a shiver running through his body. ] I've never gone outside of the village during one. I don't know to be honest.

W-We'll try it. At worst, it will just be more walking. Maybe they just won't be expecting us to leave. Come on. [He grabs Helios by the arm and yanks him away from Elise, trying to get him to turn away] We just need a way through the mist.
folklorist: (Ever so curious)

[personal profile] folklorist 2010-10-31 12:28 am (UTC)(link)
Ah! Ye-yes. [ He doesn't mind the yanking, he actually prefers to not have to look at her right now. So he'll follow Giles nodding as he turns away completely. ] I can put up a barrier, that might work.

Re: Outside CH 7

[personal profile] consultmybooks 2010-10-31 12:31 am (UTC)(link)
It would help if we actually knew what's out there. But no one seems to. People g-go into the mist and...come back.

Still. I think it can be safely said that we have nothing left to lose anymore. Try the barrier - we might make it. If we don't, we'll be back in a week anyway.
folklorist: (Well this is certainly a mess)

Outside CH 7

[personal profile] folklorist 2010-10-31 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
It sounds like such a grim prospect, but I-I just can't anymore. [ He'll just shut his eyes against the soft whisperings of the woman standing behind him. He gives a huff before nodding. ] Are you...sure? We don't know what might happen, and then there's the warnings people put out.

[ He bites his lip there's nothing left to lose, true, but then again there was two of them and they might stand a fleeting chance of making it through. ]

I'm not sure. I'm not sure at all. [Giles has lied to Buffy, Willow, and Xander all week, but unfortunately Helios is the one who has to deal with honesty. He laughs tiredly.] It's probably a remarkably stupid idea, actually, and if you have any alternative ideas I would love to hear them. I may have taken leave of my senses, but that doesn't mean we both have to.

[Did you have a lovely dream? A lovely dream of darkness and death? A different voice. Giles stops dead, closing his eyes]

But enough is enough.
folklorist: (Well this is certainly a mess)

Outside CH 7

[personal profile] folklorist 2010-10-31 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
[ Helios doesn't know what to say because frankly he hasn't a clue as to how to make them stop. Ignoring your own personal demons can only continue for so long and the constant waves the both of them were being hit with was a bit much. Perhaps Giles had a point, staying here wasn't the best of ideas and perhaps the mist was hiding a cure. ] Waiting it out seems futile. I-I don't know any sort of spell for this type of thing unfortunately. A sound canceling spell would certainly be wonderful right now. [ He looks back at Giles. ] You-You don't plan on going through there alone do you? [ He won't allow that if it comes to it. ]

Helios, in case you haven't noticed, I'm dressed as a vampire. I've already given Xander a heart attack, and I don't want to scare Buffy or Willow. Especially not Buffy, because she can stake someone through the chest without thinking about it.

But I'm also not leaving you out here.

[personal profile] folklorist 2010-10-31 03:25 am (UTC)(link)
I know, I know. I-I can't go back to the apartment, not with her following me like this. [ He looks back at Elise another shiver going through him before he abruptly turns away. ]

It doesn't seem like we have much of choice does it?

If we're in agreement, then. [Giles takes a deep breath before chanting quietly in Sumerian]

Shield around us
Never falter.
Shield protect us
Keep us from harm.

Shield around us
Never falter...

[ A light blue circle encompasses Helios and Giles as he casts his own spell. Extra protection in this place never hurt, right? He face takes on a more serious expression one that never gets used much, but for this entire week alone it is acceptable. ] Shall we go then?

((ooc; fff yeah that's fine by me. ))

[ And that he does. His eyes keeping focus on the area behind them while Giles takes up the front. It's hard to really see anything though, perhaps using their other senses would be best. ] I can't see a thing in this fog.

[ A slight huff of frustration passes his lips, as a shadow flickers past them both in the corner of his eye. It was probably just another hallucination or maybe not. He didn't really know anymore. ]

Neither can I. [He can barely see Helios in this fog. Just shadows, all around them, and the saving grace is that Helios is the most human looking shadow of the bunch.]
