Some talks are just long overdue...
Who: Adell, Charlotte, Luka
What: Post-Event Reactions
When: Super-Backdated to "Way The Hell Back To the Day After The Love Event."
Where: House 44, Adell's room
Summary: As the morning breaks after the Malnosso's experiment wears off, there's going to be a number of things to deal with between three people...
Rating: PG-13, probly.
[The morning came much like any others, the sun inauspiciously shining in through Adell's window. He was still in bed, asleep, resting happily and calmly. Though he wasn't alone...]

Luka blinks and looks at him. A salad of expressions in her face, ranging from an angry glare, to a pout, to worry and fear, and to embarrassment. She would keep trying to get away but it's pretty much pointless now, right? Unless she wants to check if Adell would fall for a "I need to go to the toilet" and free her himself... She prefers to think he wouldn't.
And thus fer expression finally settles for a glaring pout.]
What?
no subject
What the hell? He's not upset... so much as confused about the whole thing. But seeing Luka's flurry of emotions and expressions cross her face push aside this confusion in favor of concern.]
...Luka, what's wrong?
[You look upset. And that overrides his own confusion for now.]

[Sarcasm may be dripping there. Really, what's wrong? She's in your room, while you and Charle cuddle and you ask what's wrong? She's frying you with that glare, man.]
no subject
...Then why did you look like you saw a ghost when you looked at me?
[Either way Adell slides over to try to help untie her. Operative word is try. He's probably going to fail.]
no subject
No.
...Okay rubbing her eyes]
no subject
[What do you want all that strength for if you can't free her from that? She eyes Charlotte worriedly, but it's okay, so long as she's unchained she'll flee.]
no subject
Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you, Charle.
[...He pauses when he looks back the the leash tied to the bedpost. What the hell kind of knot was this, anyway?]
no subject
[Still rubbing her eyes, but in a whining voice here. Uuugh]
no subject
I can't untie this, sorry to cause such a ruckus.
[She deserves a prize for being able to sound so calm when inwardly she's all but freaking out. Let her go stupid leash!]

...I can't either. Guess we did it last night when...
no subject
Oh man. That's what's going on and... Luka's here... and.
Well. There's a vivid blush forming on his face. Holy crap, that actually happened?]
no subject
[Charlotte... blinks some more, rubbing her eyes] Sorry, did I make it too tight?
no subject
[How did you manage to make it so tight anyway? But... She eyes Adell's face... Seems someone is starting to remember, oh God, she has to get out of here immediately.]
no subject
The Malnosso did it again, didn't they?
...But what stuns Adell into silence for a moment is... that he didn't immediately notice a significant change in his emotions; all it seemed to do was flip a switch from "platonic" to "romantic" for his feelings for Luka.
...And even after the experiment ended, he hardly felt any differently. It was confounding.
...But her studying his face, her attitude, her reactions. She realized what happened faster than he did, and the hurry to get untied... Was she afraid?
Adell blinks twice, then looks over at Luka, and then to Charle, then back again.]
Well. I... uh. I think something happened here.

[Ignoring Adell's comment. She knows that "something" happened. She knows what happened. She knows why. And she wants to get out of here, she really doesn't need to be chained while Charle and Adell realize what happened and get angry. It would be the worst humiliation and hurt she could get... She really doesn't want to go through this, thus she keeps fighting with the leash.]
no subject
Don't tug on it like that, Luka. I think you're just making it tighter. ...How the hell did you tie it like this, Charle?
[Adell focuses for a moment as he continues to speak. At the very least, he's working to untie her while he's doing so.]
I think... I think we were all subject to another experiment by the Malnosso.
[...And if it means anything, Adell's remaining pretty calm while talking about it.]
Charle, can you give me a hand with this? I don't know what you did here...
no subject
Come here, I'll get it.
no subject
She approaches Charle as instructed and waits.]
no subject
I think what they did to us was like... what happened last year. Made us fall in love? Though they used a tree instead of a fountain.
[He pauses.]
...Well, even if that was an experiment, that could've gone a lot worse, I think. I'm not happy that they messed with our heads again, but... really. Of all people we could've been affected with, at least it was with each other, right?
[His tone's actually even, calm. Any annoyance isn't directed at either of them, and in fact... his tone is actually... warm?]

[A great fucking relief. Because this is exactly what she would have preferred, because this isn't bad at all, this isn't a failure from her or whatever. No sir, it could have been worse, much worse, the fact that she can't even imagine what could have been even equally bad to this shit doesn't mean it's the worst thing to happen, right?
Honestly it takes a lot from her to not be snappish and sarcastic, but it really would do nothing to help the situation. She notices Adell's tone being calm and all but it doesn't matter. He may be hot-tempered but not so much that he would snap right at that situation or anything. Even if he may not be angry at her it doesn't mean he approves or accepts what happened. And she really doesn't want to wait to check what it is.
Which is obvious by the way she bolts to the door as soon as Charle unties the knot. Don't expect her to stop voluntarily until she's at a good distance from them and this house.]

[Well, it's a good thing Adell had the idea to lock that door for the sake of... privacy last night. As soon as Luka bolts for the door, Adell's suspicions are all but confirmed. But with the door locked, the door has no give when Luka goes for the handle.
And the second or two she would need to unlock it is all Adell needs to be able to intercept her and keep her from escaping by holding the door shut.]
