Summary: Come one, come all! It's time for this cycle's New Feather Party!
Rating: PG -- to be changed in case of drunken shenanigans! Which are encouraged but it's a BYOB kinda deal. XD

[ooc: Alright everybody, here's how it works! Comment spam is the name of the game here and yes, my inbox can handle it! First comment is for anyone who's volunteered to help out and there's a lots of people so Selphie has already split everybody up into groups. aka: feel free to make your own groups. After that, there's just going to be general partyness going on! Threadjacking is more than encounraged (hell, it's expected and demanded) and there you have it! The grumps can come btw, they just can't grump at the party! xD]

The party was all set up and ready to go. The food had been delivered, the rec centre was thoroughly decorated and cheerful with its spring colours and Selphie was just hanging around waiting for the guests to arrive. Her small army of helpers had been hard at work since the day before and it hardened the perky brunette's resolve to make this one of the best parties she's ever thrown. A small part of her wished that her other friends from home and those who had left this place could be here to enjoy the party with everyone here. Even then, a larger part of her knows that it's better that they're not here.

Regardless, Selphie goes about getting this latest New Feather party arranged with every ounce of cheer and assuring those new people that not every people associated with Luceti is crazy. Giving them a welcoming environment to get to know some of their fellow residents is better than wondering what's going to happen next. Besides, it could help those shy people make some friends or get over their anxieties about social gatherings. Overall, Selphie felt that these parties were worth the hard work and would do them as many times as necessary.

[She just keeps nodding as he lists off all the food. Such enthusiasm! He makes everything sound so delicious. She'll have to stop off by the buffet at some point.]

P-p-pleased to... [Oh, she's whispering again. She makes an effort to raise her voice to a "decent" volume. It's...well, it's audible, and that's a start.]Um, m-m-meet you too, Goku!

[Well, she can tell why he came, at least.] Sounds like the people in charge made sure nobody would go hungry.

Very nice to meet you. How long have you been in Luceti?

[You talk funny, Florina. Goku just smiles and laughs happily, not at you but... He finds funny the way you talk, okay? He likes it anyway.]

I've been here since January! This place is great, isn't it? I love being able to be here! it would be better if my friends where here but they are slowly coming already! Do you both like it here?

[She's relaxing just a bit thanks to his infectious good mood, but that question catches her off guard.]

I...um, I...w-well, I'm not sure... T-that is to say! Er, i-it's very nice here, um, and e-everyone seems to be s-so kind...Ah! A-and it's good to s-see my friend Lyn again...b-but I r-really, um, I...

[She pauses and tugs awkwardly at her hair as she thinks for a moment. Her face brightens, and she manages a small smile.]

W-well, I guess...I guess I do, um, like it here, then!

[She restrains a laugh at Florina's halting and unsure explanation. Only when she's finished does Lyn speak up.]

I have a few problems with it, but as long as my best friend is with me I'll be happy wherever.

Are you new?

[He can only think of that as an explanation to "not be sure" about her opinion on the place. Still he smiles, those are good answers!]

It's always better to be with friends, right? I know that as long as I'm with them I don't care where I am. Though I would still like this place even if they weren't here, I would just be a bit lonely.

[The idea had worried him a bit, but after three months the kid is already used to Luceti and knows that the people here are nice and friendly so he can make tons of friends. He still wants his original friends with him but... New friends would make the wait easier.]

W-well, uh, n-not really, um, I-I've been here since...s-since February. B-but I...I, um, haven't, er, gone outside v-very often.

W-well, yes, i-it is. Er, I...it makes everything, um, it's...it's really nice.

[She is very glad Lyn is here. Without her, she'd be ~~even more of~~ a wreck. Still, she does miss her sisters and some of her friends from back home...then again, maybe if she actually went outside she could actually make some new friends...]

That's why I brought her here, you know. [Lyn pats Florina's shoulder.] She keeps herself inside so often and almost never uses her journal, so it's almost impossible for her to meet anyone and make friends.

[She seems to think of something.] You must have made a lot of friends here if you like it here so much, right Goku?

[Goku nods happily.]

Yes! I have met tons of people! There's Kohaku-nee who is a real angel! And Sheik-nii who gave me pizza, and Charlotte-nee who always plasy with me and Josh-niichan who plays music and is really fun, and there's Katie who is a Goddess of cats and kittens and Sanji who is a great cook and Hughes-nii and Winry-nee and Flandre and Kirimi and...

[He really could go on forever. Still he focuses his attention on Florina.]

There's tons of nice people here! I'm sure you will make tons of friends too! I will be your friend! If you don't want to go out that's fine, I can come over and play with you I have tones of toys, I can bring them over!

[She blinks a few times before smiling widely. He is so cute, she doesn't even know what to say. After a moment of incredulous staring, she finally manages to stammer something out.]

I...I, um, I would like that a lot, Goku! Ah! I-if it's alright with Lyn of course! I-I am staying with her at, um, at the moment, and I-I w-wouldn't like to impose...

Of course it's alright. Why wouldn't it be? [Lyn gives them both a grin.]

You see, Florina, you've made a friend already. Aren't you glad you came now? [Hair ruffle.]

Yay!! We're friends now!

[It's settled and you can't back away now! With the amount of people the kid talks about one would expect him to be less excited about getting a new friend. But from the way he acts it's almost as if he had never had a friend before, each friend is just that previous to him.]

So you live together? I live with Hakkai! He's been my friend since I was brought to Heavens and met him! He's really nice and is always smiling, I'll introduce him to you someday!
