Summary: Come one, come all! It's time for this cycle's New Feather Party!
Rating: PG -- to be changed in case of drunken shenanigans! Which are encouraged but it's a BYOB kinda deal. XD

[ooc: Alright everybody, here's how it works! Comment spam is the name of the game here and yes, my inbox can handle it! First comment is for anyone who's volunteered to help out and there's a lots of people so Selphie has already split everybody up into groups. aka: feel free to make your own groups. After that, there's just going to be general partyness going on! Threadjacking is more than encounraged (hell, it's expected and demanded) and there you have it! The grumps can come btw, they just can't grump at the party! xD]

The party was all set up and ready to go. The food had been delivered, the rec centre was thoroughly decorated and cheerful with its spring colours and Selphie was just hanging around waiting for the guests to arrive. Her small army of helpers had been hard at work since the day before and it hardened the perky brunette's resolve to make this one of the best parties she's ever thrown. A small part of her wished that her other friends from home and those who had left this place could be here to enjoy the party with everyone here. Even then, a larger part of her knows that it's better that they're not here.

Regardless, Selphie goes about getting this latest New Feather party arranged with every ounce of cheer and assuring those new people that not every people associated with Luceti is crazy. Giving them a welcoming environment to get to know some of their fellow residents is better than wondering what's going to happen next. Besides, it could help those shy people make some friends or get over their anxieties about social gatherings. Overall, Selphie felt that these parties were worth the hard work and would do them as many times as necessary.

[Ah ha, there was the culprit. It doesn't surprise Naoto that it was Rise, but the person she's dragging is someone she has yet to meet.

She peels herself from the wall enough to turn her body to face Rise and her friend]

Good evening, Rise-san.

[Being harassed by Rise is not uncommon, but it takes Caesar a moment to realize what the heck is going on as he's being dragged over to meet someone.

This girl doesn't look familiar, so she's probably actually new. But why is he being dragged around, Rise. :| Caesar waves at Naoto with his other hand.]

Uh... Good evening.

[And she's only letting go of his wrist once they're in front of Naoto because...well, because Caesar would attempt to talk his way out otherwise. It's much easier to just leave no option to slither out.]

I know you guys probably don't know each other, but it's never too late to meet, right? [to Caesar:] I mentioned her, remember?

[BUT ANYWAY. Taking a step back with a wide smile as she says this--]

Caesar, this is Naoto, and Naoto, Caesar.

[Naoto gives Caesar a small wave, then looks at Rise curiously. She had mentioned her to him?

Well, it's always nice to meet new people. Naoto holds her hand out to Caesar with a small smile]

It's a pleasure to meet you, Caesar.

[He nods, and takes her hand. She already seems so much more calm compared to Rise. It's weird.]

The pleasure's mine. [He nods at Rise.] She said we might get along well, but you're nothing like her.

Did you expect her to be like me?

[She gives his hand a small shake before letting it go, placing her hand on her hip like always]

Rise-san and I are quite different in several ways. The only thing we may have in common is our inability to cook.

I... see. [It is so hard to keep his mouth shut about Rise's cooking. So hard. He'll just have to make a mental note not to touch this girl's food, either.] Believe it or not, she spoke well of you. She didn't even say anything about your cooking.

[Naoto isn't as bad of a cook, but it still takes her a few times to get it right. Though she has to admit she's slightly surprised that Rise has talked about her]

She has, has she? We have only cooked together once, but I'm sure she didn't wish to share that story.

Hey, it turned out well that time! There was nothing wrong with it.

After three tries, Rise-san.

Heh... [These girls...] No, I cannot say that I've heard that story yet.

Without dwelling over the details, we had been baking a cake and it took three attempts to make an edible one.

But we succeeded in the end! That's the most important part!

A-anyway, it's not like we do that that often...

[He tilts his head at Rise.]

You won't consider her help the next time you bake cookies?

Hey, Naoto-kun's an amazing cook. [And here she shakes her head.] Why are we talking about my cooking anyway?!
