Who: Everyone!
What: New Feather Party
When: Saturday Evening
Where: Rec Centre
Summary: Come one, come all! It's time for this cycle's New Feather Party!
Rating: PG -- to be changed in case of drunken shenanigans! Which are encouraged but it's a BYOB kinda deal. XD

[ooc: Alright everybody, here's how it works! Comment spam is the name of the game here and yes, my inbox can handle it! First comment is for anyone who's volunteered to help out and there's a lots of people so Selphie has already split everybody up into groups. aka: feel free to make your own groups. After that, there's just going to be general partyness going on! Threadjacking is more than encounraged (hell, it's expected and demanded) and there you have it! The grumps can come btw, they just can't grump at the party! xD]

The party was all set up and ready to go. The food had been delivered, the rec centre was thoroughly decorated and cheerful with its spring colours and Selphie was just hanging around waiting for the guests to arrive. Her small army of helpers had been hard at work since the day before and it hardened the perky brunette's resolve to make this one of the best parties she's ever thrown. A small part of her wished that her other friends from home and those who had left this place could be here to enjoy the party with everyone here. Even then, a larger part of her knows that it's better that they're not here.

Regardless, Selphie goes about getting this latest New Feather party arranged with every ounce of cheer and assuring those new people that not every people associated with Luceti is crazy. Giving them a welcoming environment to get to know some of their fellow residents is better than wondering what's going to happen next. Besides, it could help those shy people make some friends or get over their anxieties about social gatherings. Overall, Selphie felt that these parties were worth the hard work and would do them as many times as necessary.

Then ... what do we do ...? Will we be able to go eventually?

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-21 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
We should talk to Brother and Miss Pascal about it first.

. . . I can't promise that we'll find anything if we go.

[identity profile] cluelessflower.livejournal.com 2011-03-22 03:38 am (UTC)(link)
[ She just nods in response. ] Okay.

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-22 04:00 am (UTC)(link)
[ He fixes his glasses. ]

Whatever happens, we won't be held here forever.

[identity profile] cluelessflower.livejournal.com 2011-03-22 04:12 am (UTC)(link)
... You spoke to the Malnosso, Hubert?

[ That's how he must know that, right? ]

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-22 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
[ Well. That was sudden. ]

. . . Not yet. We shouldn't need the Organization to ensure our return.

[ Shouldn't, because they apparently don't know how to, anyway, and he doesn't like them. ]

[identity profile] cluelessflower.livejournal.com 2011-03-22 08:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Not yet?

[ Well, Hubert, she would like to meet them anyway. She wants to meet them before she leaves this place. ]

... Can we go meet them together, then? Asbel and Pascal, too.

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-22 11:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Huh. He's not surprised about her wanting to see the Malnosso, but the reason why eludes him. ]

I . . . suppose we can, given the opportunity. Though it may be easier to speak with them over encountering them in person.

Why do you want to meet them?

[identity profile] cluelessflower.livejournal.com 2011-03-23 12:15 am (UTC)(link)
My memories. They can help me remember.

[ At least that's what she thinks, since Tear told her something about them messing with others' memories. They must be able to bring Sophie's back then, right? ]

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-23 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
Help you remember?

[ It's a surprising (or is it shocking?) claim. This again? More importantly, how can the Malnosso help her? ]

[identity profile] cluelessflower.livejournal.com 2011-03-23 03:50 am (UTC)(link)
[ She just gives him a nod in response. She doesn't know how else to explain it. She assumes he knows. ]

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-23 04:31 am (UTC)(link)
Sophie . . . What is it that you're trying to recall?

[ That question sounded dumber than it should have, because he doesn't mean what what, but the sort of memory she's seeking. Something about this feels off. ]

[identity profile] cluelessflower.livejournal.com 2011-03-23 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
[ ... What? If she knew exactly what it was that she was trying to remember, this would be pointless, because then she'd already know.

So all she can do is shake her head. ]
I don't know.

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-23 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
[ Either she didn't understand his question, or that's just her answer to it. He should have asked something else. ]

. . . I wasn't aware the Organization is capable of restoring them.

[identity profile] cluelessflower.livejournal.com 2011-03-23 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
They can affect memories.

[ At least that's generally what Sophie got out of what Tear said. She assumes they can also restore them, then. ]

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-23 05:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. They manipulate them.

[ He can't wrong what Sophie believes when he knows very little beyond that. ]

. . . So that's why.

[identity profile] cluelessflower.livejournal.com 2011-03-23 05:25 am (UTC)(link)
[ She simply nods her head. ]

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-24 04:21 am (UTC)(link)
[ Still, all of this strikes him as incredibly odd. By that alone, he asks another question as it comes to him -- one he should have used from the beginning. ]

What was the last thing to happen on Efinea?

vague spoilers in this post! and maybe more spoilers past this idk. /warning

[identity profile] cluelessflower.livejournal.com 2011-03-24 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
[ Her eyes widen a little at that question. Asbel asked her the same thing when she arrived here ... However, it's difficult for her to explain. ]

Ah -- Richard, he -- and I -- [ She doesn't want to say it, nor does she know how to say it, really.

So she assumes that if she explains what she felt -- which is the same way she answered Asbel -- Hubert will understand. ]
I was in pain, and it was hard to see.

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-24 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
[ Hubert crosses his arms. Although it looks as if he's simply soaking up information, the gesture is also meant to hide the tenseness of his body. ]

Ah, that . . .

[ He understands very well what she means. She doesn't appear to be in pain anymore, at least. That's a no brainer. ]

But you can see clearly now that you're here?

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-24 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
That's good news.

[ Very good news. But there's the slightest furrowing of his brows. ]

[identity profile] cluelessflower.livejournal.com 2011-03-24 05:14 am (UTC)(link)
... Are you from my future, too? Like Asbel?

[ He asked the same question as him, at least. ]

[identity profile] mistyarc.livejournal.com 2011-03-24 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
[ Oh, she knows about the time paradoxes. It sounds like she does, at any rate. ]

Did he tell you that he's from the future?
