He feels Miyabi coming more than hears or sees it, so he pauses, lifts the leaf a little to turn and see who-]

Luke immediately drops the leaf and leaps back - waaay too far, and since he's not used to flying in the air like this, he ends up flailing slightly before he lands and rolls to a halt.

April 1st

[Of all the living things with souls Giles will have seen around the village, this one will be an odd one. The outline of her soul is very faint and the only really visible part is a small, faintly glowing sphere near what would be her chest. To a regular illusionist, she would look barely alive. To Giles? She probably just looks weirder than usual.]

[Thankfully, she can tell right away that he must be a changed resident: all illusionists in her world are female. Still, that doesn't mean he doesn't have the same potential as an illusionist from her world, so hopefully he forgives her for walking right up to him and skipping the formalities.]

[She'd rather not have to see an Illusionist wipe out an entire village.]

[Everyone in the village looks weird today. So Giles blinks and stares as he sees this small glowing sphere and its gray outline approach. Even opens his eyes properly for a second to try and get a better "look" at her, not understanding that there isn't anything more to "see". But he doesn't comment on how she knows. He must look very strange today.]

Nggh, her eyes were a lot better when she was normal, but another sense was definitely more prominent like this.

Sniff, sniff. ...It couldn't be. It just. Could not. The hilarity was too damn good.]

[It's like walking on stilts, which she could probably manage on any normal day but right now it's four stilts instead of two - so still really weird. Thursday tries to lift her right front leg, stiff and uneasy, and of course she loses her balance. That leg slides forward and away from her, the right one slips and follows, and pretty soon it's like she's bowing for Rogue, though he head is up in alarm rather than tucked down in reverence.]

[Dammit, the fox is getting closer... And his sword didn't shrink with him, either. Luke really has no choice but to run/hop and hide, and he's just about to do that when-

The fox speaks, and that voice... He freezes, then looks back up at her again.]

[Why is everyone becoming so tiny during this experiment? It was bad enough Nephry was being terrorized by every bird in the enclosure, but now Luke would have to deal with it, too?]

[At least, that's the impression Ion got from the small flock of birds that were hungrily eying Luke from a nearby perch. The small flock that he doesn't seem to see because of that leaf he's carrying.]

[He doesn't want to hurt any of the birds, but eating his friend is so not cool. In the corner of his eye, Luke might see a few sparks appearing around them, scaring them up into the sky.]

[And on the other side of him is an Ionchu. With this face. Bro, what are you doing outside when you are so tiny?]

[Luke has not realized that he's pretty much become prey for a large number of animals right now. He just glares sullenly at the ground while the birds eye him, and he only lifts his head when he notices the flash of sparks. Once he looks for the cause of it, he sees the birds flying away... and Ionchu.

He still doesn't really know what exactly happened, considering he's not even thinking of what him being this small means, so he scowls and glances away, more embarrassed about Ion seeing him like this than anything.]

Hey Ion. [Who knows if he can be heard this far away with his vocal range being shrunk, too.]

Well, you look like one... But the ones in my world don't walk on land. And they're bigger. The actually taste really good if you roast them, especially the tentacles!

[Frey was rather happy this morning to discover those wings and claws were Gone, if only for a second-

Before the realization was crushed by the fact that he once again seemed to have a little extra something up top. Was this some sort of sick joke?! He’s a girl, again? By this point, though, he’s more annoyed then surprised. It was just an experiment- It had to end soon enough. Though he’s even more irritated by the fact they chose to change his hair, too. It was now platinum blond…. Almost like his aunt’s, really.

Tossing on his red tunic that only barely fits now, even with buttons undone, he’ll proceed to say good morning to his roommates and have breakfast before heading out to pick up clothes. He’ll then spend the rest of the day wandering the village. Better to be out where he can’t be harassed by his housemates.

((ooc: Frey is a Veela! Feel free to wonder why this girl seems to be Really Attractive, since Veela are prone to charming males on sight.))

If Luke had been his normal size the Luma would look too cute to do anything harmful, but right now it's HUGE compared to him, so he flips the leaf in his hands so that he's holding the stem like it's some kind of spear.]

[Oh, gods, it was Luke! Miyabi begins to snicker - almost like a light and soft cackle - and she moves back, to sit. Her tail curls around her and she just grins. Ohoho, she's been waiting to rub how hard it was to be small in someone's face. Lucky her it happened to be a friend, too.]

Or teleporting for that matter. It may not mean much, given he used to look like this with his holo watch, but it's a lot different now that it's real.]
