No... this was how it felt for an eleman to stand by an illusionist. For prey to stand near it's predator. If she wasn't so sure that she was incapable of such an emotion, she might call it fear.]

[When he opens his eyes, her own eyes are hidden. She hadn't closed them, but she knew better than to look an illusionist in the face.] It is not obvious to others, perhaps, because they are not aware of the sort of creature you have become.

You do not, perchance, happen to know what an illusionist is?

[Legs are shivering but steady. All of them. The muscles in her flank are starting to ache because she's probably not supposed to be staying in one position for this long at a time. Still, she feels safer now and it shows in the relaxing of some of the muscles in her neck. Her head lowers a little, then raises. Then it lowers again, and raises. She's nodding in reply to Rogue's question but it might well not be read that way. It's a subtle enough gesture. She's afraid to make sudden movements lest she tip herself over.

So this girl is a demon. Right? Spade tail, blue skin, fuzz, teleportation... but then, Thursday had heard tell of a young man by this description in Luceti. Kurt. And if the Shift could make her a fawn, it should definately be able to change Kurt's gender.]

Luke pauses in his steps to frown and stare down at the ground - just as a shadow comes over him.

He turns to see what it is-]

[And he LEAPS OUT OF THE WAY just before the foot can squish him. Luke is no expert at leaping so far, though, so he lands on his side and slides to halt, and though that kind of hurt, he still pushes himself up to shout after her as loud as he can.]

This is correct, although there is far more to it than simply that.

An illusionist is what I am. Usually. It is type of monster that consumes human souls to survive.

And on that note, I must request that you close your eyes if they are open. [She would close her own, but without her ability to see souls, seeing nothing made her feel far too vulnerable.]

Luke grips the leafbrella a little tighter - he'd been holding back the urge to kick the fellow all this week, really, only stopping once he reminded himself that it's Ion. And being tinier hasn't brought that down at all.]
