"I've only got the one question," she had been unable to get a decent impression on whether the levity had bombed or not. Tip-toeing around things didn't work well for her and she wanted to know if she had to keep doing so in regards to Jack's penalty. Buffy rarely tip-toed around her own heavy issues.
