The mood changed when the drafted left (probably), but we still have an Amusement Park!! Might want to try to enjoy.

PS: Drafted come back the night of the 29th, so they have two days after that if they want too

It's the least I could do.

[She finishes mixing her own hot chocolate and follows Kurt to the sofa, hesitating just a moment before sitting herself. Vivi's trying her best to keep the whole embarrassing incident firmly out of her thoughts, though the memory comes creeping back at the most inopportune times. Realizing she's verging on lapsing into silence, she casts about for an appropriately safe conversation topic.]

Back home, it was usually too warm to enjoy a hot drink like this. [She takes a sip from her own mug, enjoying the sweet warmth as she swallows.] Mm.

[bamfing]

[It's better to keep talking, even if it's just empty. Being right beside each other again, though, is kind of making it awkward. After all, she doesn't have anything under that robe.]

Well... there were no air conditioners there either, I bet. [Okay, sipping the hot chocolate and being grateful his blushes are hidden under fur.]

[She thinks she knows what he means by the context. Really, it's still a little too cold in here, though the hot chocolate does help.] No, but it would have come in handy. Alabasta is a desert kingdom, so the heat can be hard to bear at times.

[She shifts slightly, trying not to fidget.]

[bamfing]

Alabasta is where you're from? [Come to think of it, he doesn't actually know anything about where she's from.]

[Vivi nods, pausing to take another sip of her hot chocolate. Talking about Alabasta gives her a little tug of homesickness, but it's also a welcome distraction from the earlier awkwardness.]

Yes, that's right. We're a fairly large island in the first half of the Grand Line. Though it's a desert climate, the people have adapted well to living there. It's really a beautiful country. [...oh, right, and maybe she should mention...] My father is king there.

Sounds pretty cool, your father- [......... is king?]

[Wait what!?]

[bamfing]

... you're a princess!? [He had a princess in his pocket!? And they just LET him go around with her like that!?]

Well. Yes. Back home, at least. [She gives a small shake of her head.] It's not as if it means anything here.

[bamfing]

Man... this is too crazy. All of that stuff that happened... [And it was a princess! She might say it doesn't matter, but a princess is still a princess.]

[Vivi looks slightly pained. She's beginning to wonder if maybe she shouldn't have mentioned her lineage, but it wasn't as if she'd been trying to hide it. Kurt seems weirded out now, though.]

Please, Kurt-san, don't worry about it.

[bamfing]

[Kurt just doesn't know how to deal with royalty. He feels like he's been a total jerk.]

If you're sure, Vivi... [Oh wait. Blink.] Ahh, should I be calling your Your Highness or something?

No! [Ah, that came out a little more forcefully than she intended. She shakes her head.]

No, please, just...don't feel you have to treat me differently, okay? Just Vivi is fine.

[bamfing]

... okay, Vivi it is.

[It's still weird, but if that's what she wants, it's what he'll do. Though in the back of his mind he's still going to be more careful around her.]

[alabastajewel]

[Vivi gives a soft sigh of relief and nods.] Thank you, Kurt-san.

[She has enough people back home that stand on ceremony. To have a friend lapse into such formality would feel strange. She reaches over to touch his shoulder lightly in thanks. Then, suddenly self-conscious, she quickly turns her attention back to her hot chocolate, holding the mug in both hands as she takes a sip.]

[bamfing]

[You know this would be the perfect opportunity to ask her to drop the 'san', but... nah. It's kind of cool.]

So... I guess you'll be able to do a roller coaster after all.

[alabastajewel]

Oh, that's true!

[It had slipped her mind completely, in the face of everything that had happened. She laughs, raising one robed arm.] I'm hardly dressed for it now, though.

[bamfing]

Ahh, yeah, I'm not exactly ready for it either.

[He pulls at one of his sleeves. At least it's comfortable.]

Maybe tomorrow.

Tomorrow sounds good.

[She takes another sip of her hot chocolate before setting the mug aside on the end table. Vivi faces toward Kurt a little more, drawing on leg under her on the couch (though she takes care that her robe stays well in place).] Have you ridden many of them? Which ones are the best? [She's not gonna waste her time with on namby-pamby ones if she can help it.]

[bamfing]

[The best ones, huh? He'll have to try and remember their names. There's a ton of them, after all.] Tyr's Legacy is cool. It goes the highest of any of them. If you like exciting, there's this wooden one I went on. It's ahh, not so much that it's fast, but it's exciting because it doesn't feel safe. [the best rides are clearly the ones you thing are going to collapse underneath you.]

[Vivi nods eagerly, leaning forward a little as she listens.]

Yes, I agree! [She's always been a bit of a thrill-seeker. One of the perks of being princess was getting falcon-back rides from Pell, one of the head guardsmen with a Devil Fruit power.] What about the ones that loop?

[bamfing]

Oh yeah, I'll take you on the corkscrew. Now that one is a wild ride.

[alabastajewel]

It sounds like it would be. [She sketches a curlicue in the air with her finger, her earlier embarrassment all but forgotten.] Something like that?

[bamfing]

[Nodding.] Exactly like that. Except when you get to the end... [He repeats her motion, only backwards.] You go back.

[alabastajewel]

...I can't wait to try it! [She may sound a little giddy at the prospect. The rides here are on a whole other level from the ones they have back home.]

Then...which ride is your favorite? [Whichever it is, they'll obviously have to ride that one at least twice.]
